iamoyindamola: Ise Oluwa ni oooI was lucky with scholarship though in 200 level meant for first class and second class upper students back then, so I didn't feel it much. I just have to cope oo because since I wasn't expelled but suspended for good 5 years before sitting for another jamb, I got no choice. I have the suspension letter well preserve for my children as testimony to guard against exam malpractice ooo |
BlueRayDick:Lucky for you Brother and I could say I am even luckier because I was able to secure the MTN foundation scholarship to sustain myself throughout between 2012 and 2015 from 200 level meant for science, Agricultural, medicine, accounting, mathematics education and engineering undergraduates 200,000 depending on the duration of one's course each session for a minimum of 3 sessions and 6 years maximum for medical students |
BlueRayDick:Thanks. No not unionism issues but Exam malpractice. I was caught writing a Carry over course for my friend, room and course mate. Na me Bleep up. How could someone in second class upper in civil engineering be writing Carry over? That was how one of the lecturers traced me out when he came close to me. I later graduated in 2015 after writing another jamb in 2010 in a state university with the same grade in Mathematics Education |
Although the Manager is right but he has forgotten that Club pedigree and the nature of the players surrounding the goalkeeper have major roles to play in terms of impactions and quality delivery week in week out in every club

Mikel Arteta plotting a move for Juventus striker in January as Arsenal sit on £70m transfer kity after being snubbed by Vlahovic’ Arsenal are considering a January move for Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski after failing to sign Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports. Mikel Arteta, the Gunners’ manager, is looking for a new attacker to help maintain the club’s recent form and had identified Vlahovic as a possible option, but it was reported that the Fiorentina man had refused to answer calls from the north Londoners. Kroenke’s appearance on Sky Sports coincided with Sky Sport Italia reporting that Arsenal are willing to pay up to Fiorentina’s £70 million asking price for Vlahovic in the upcoming window. According to Sky Sport Italia, Arsenal are now launching their Plan B and are interested in making a move for out-of-favour Juventus star Kulusevski, who has made just two starts this season under Max Allegri. Kulusevski has a contract in Turin until 2025, having joined as an exciting youngster from Parma in 2020, but he will want to play regularly to ensure he progresses and reaches his full potential. The Sweden international has one goal in 15 appearances this season, but he has only been used as a substitute and in cup games Arsenal have won four games in a row and are unbeaten in their last ten – and Kulusevski’s quality would help elevate the team to another level as they look to make a push for the top four, with Arteta hoping to add support for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. It comes after they were dealt a setback in their pursuit of Vlahovic, who was thought to be worth around £68 million. Arsenal were eager to complete a deal after rivals Tottenham were said to be put off by the fee, but Italian media reported that the player simply refused to pick up the phone. There are reports that Vlahovic has already agreed to join Juventus next summer, which could explain his refusal to speak with the Gunners. Vlahovic has eight goals in 12 Serie A games this season, including a hat-trick against Spezia at home |
#OTD in 1983, a 17 year old TONY ADAMS made his debut for the ARSENAL. He finished his career as a one club Man, and he is still the only player in the history of English football to captain a title winning side in 3 different decades (10 years interval) No wonder he is being nicknamed MR ARSENAL

HENRY THIERRY Since Henry's record breaking season, the average number of goals scored by a player with 15+ assist in a season is 7 In 2002/2003, THIERRY HENRY hit 20 assist as well as 24 league goals. Just a reminder
|
Jodera:Yes Arsenal should go for him please |
Spy360:I hope he proves you right too because what I hate about him is his too many back passes going forward and when we are about to launch an attack. I hate back passes alot |
BlueRayDick:I didn't watch the game that day because I was on campus running around to see if I would be recalled after being suspended for 3 years since 2004 when I was in 400 level going to 500 |
Spy360:Indeed he said it and achieved it and that's why he is FIFA's Head of Administration today |
TAKEHIRO TOMIYASU: confirmed that he rejected SPURS to join ARSENAL "I thought I wouldn't able to join ARSENAL" "I thought I was going to SPURS." "On deadline day I rejected them. ARSENAL asked me to join them and I did immediately" #COME ON YOU GUNNER
|
Eawwal:Seriously they do and don't be surprised that they can recreate the invincibles era if things continue the way they are right now |
Ben White: I have played in a few games now for ARSENAL and my mom goes to all the matches. She told me how great the away fans are, And to be fair, we hear that as players. "She said they are pretty mad and she haven't seen anything like it. It's great on those away games when you get a win and can go over to the fans afterwards and appreciate their support"
|
Aaron Ramsdale: "Ben white, Gabriel and Tomiyasu and KT or NT, whenever they are playing, we actually really enjoy defending. Ben said to me in the middle of the game, ' when you make a save, I just want to punch you in the face in celebration'

VIDEO Wenger - I fulfilled the dream of my life Rob Kelly 11 Nov 2021 When Arsene Wenger said in November 2002 that he believed his side could win the title and go unbeaten, he was ridiculed in some quarters. Not for the first time though, our legendary former manager had the last laugh as the next season he achieved exactly that. Find out more about Arsene Wenger: Invincible So how did it feel to achieve what many thought impossible in 2003/04 and win the title with an immaculate record? "It was the moment where I fulfilled the dream of my life," he says in Arsene Wenger: Invincible. "The fact that I could convince this group to achieve something that they would not think would be possible. "I've done my job in a perfect way. I am so proud for having done it." Arsene Wenger had a simple response when he was asked whether he is still in love with Arsenal. "Of course... my life is red and white and that will remain." Find out more about Arsene Wenger: Invincible Speaking at a Q&A at the premiere of the documentary charting his career with us, Arsene Wenger: Invincible, our legendary former manager said he will always have the club in his heart. "Yes, of course [I am still in love with Arsenal]," Wenger said. "I tackle, I shoot, I defend, I attack [during every game] of course. "My life is red and white and that will remain, especially as I don’t manage anymore so I have no other commitment. "This is a real love story on my side that will never stop. I must say that arrived here at the age of 47... I came out from my village and was 10 years at the top level in France, after I went to Japan, which was a risk completely to my career. Then I came to England at the age of 47 and stayed until I was 69, and I gave to this club the best years of my career and I am happy for having done that. "I said many times that I many times had the opportunity to leave and I didn’t do it, because I felt I could work in this club and generate values that will remain after me. "Today I can look at what I did, and I am happy. I am grateful to Arsenal because I could do my job liked I wanted to do it, of course with ups and downs, be with my team - we were happy to work without any compromise on what was important to us, which were the values that were important to us. "Not every manager has that luck, that is why I am grateful, for such a long period, to do that." Arsene Wenger: Invincible, the definitive portrait of one of the greatest managers of all time, comes to cinemas from November 11. Courtesy of Noah Media Group, the creators of some of the most acclaimed feature-length sports documentaries of recent years (Finding Jack Charlton, Bobby Robson: More than a Manager, The Edge, Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans), comes the very first documentary about Wenger, as told in his own words. A genius, visionary and obsessive, what Wenger achieved with Arsenal changed the landscape of the English game and shaped football worldwide. Featuring remarkable access and previously unseen archive footage, directors Gabriel Clarke (Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager, Finding Jack Charlton) and Christian Jeanpierre draw back the veil on a truly enigmatic figure who discusses, for the first time, the football ‘addiction’ that was both his driving force and his 'fatal flaw’. Shot on location in England, France and Arsène’s home village of Duttlenheim, Arsene Wenger: Invicible is a compelling, intimate insight into a football figure like no other. Framed against the backdrop of Arsenal’s historic Invincible season of 2003/04, the film sees Wenger reflect candidly on his revolutionary era at the club and the emotional and personal turmoil that surrounded his exit after 22 years. Gravitas and heavyweight authority is added by an A-list supporting cast, led by Wenger’s greatest rival from the time, Sir Alex Ferguson, and star players whose careers were impacted by the French coach, including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, Ian Wright, Emmanuel Petit and Robert Pires. Arsène Wenger’s achievements are stunning. His legacy is unique. Never before has he told his story in his own words... until now. |
Roland17:What has he done for them to deserve such a dignity from them both? Even Oliver Giroud that won champions league and Europa league trophies with Chelsea can never be accorded such a treatment ooo |

Mikel Arteta on Arsene Wenger last night at the event "I would like him to be present at the club. I think the players will love him, they will benefit, they will be inspired to have him around. I think for the club it would be a huge boost Note that Senderos and Cesc were also present at the event too
|
iamoyindamola:I think we need to pray that our forward line rediscover their scoring boots especially with the chances that the young man below do create And the culprit is always Aubameyang. See how he missed another penalty against Watford and cancelled out Odegaard's goal that should have gone in By and Large, it's time for us to employ Mourinhos tactics of if you don't score, don't concede as our defence line are now showing that they are capable of keeping clean sheet

Last night at the event for the invincibles
|
daveP:Welcome back |
kodded:Yes the Energy is truly growing among the team and that can be seen in the last 2 matches that Arteta seemed to have gotten his starting Eleven especially with the inclusion of Lacazette who himself possess and showcase the same energy too in the forward line |
