Marcus Rashford posts two-word Instagram verdict as Arsenal star Emile Smith-Rowe called-up by England

Arsenal star Emile Smith-Rowe has been called-up by England after four players dropped out – and Marcus Rashford has reacted on Instagram.

Gareth Southgate did not include 21-year-old Smith-Rowe in his initial England squad for the November break. But four have since pulled out.

Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford and James Ward-Prowse have all stayed with their clubs – as they look to recover from some knocks.

Southgate has moved to call-up one player, in the form of Smith-Rowe. An England Under-21 star, Smith-Rowe has been in stunning form.

Coinciding with Arsenal’s run of six wins in eight Premier League games, Smith-Rowe has produced six goal involvements in his last six.
On Sunday, he scored the only goal of the game with a delightfully-neat finish from the edge of the area – as Arsenal beat Watford 1-0.

Smith-Rowe called-up for England: Rashford applauds Arsenal star

One of the four that has dropped out, Manchester United attacker Rashford is hardly in need of the caps. He already has 46, at the age of just 24.

It is a pretty straightforward looking break for Southgate and England, who face an easy home clash against Albania – before facing San Marino.

Having already qualified, England are expected to clock up two more wins. Smith-Rowe is certainly in with a shout of getting his first cap.

If not against Albania, then certainly at San Marino. Arsenal fans are delighted, while Rashford thinks it was a deserved call-up.

Haha , I dey oh, just watching and observing cos sometimes the arguments don't make sense but hey its a free forum where everyone has an opinion no matter how bad or good and its all fun.
Then please come back and join the fun by contributing meaningfully on sensible arguments.

Just come regularly again and cruise on like I just did too after a long while.

I swear I never knew that my posts and updates usually make sense until yesterday when I logged in again to the reference being made to my activities in here on my mention.

Your being referenced equally by Jodera among others is also a testimony to how you are being very much appreciated too like we do to each and every member of this thread as a family of Loyal, devoted and dedicated Arsenal fans.

Absolutely nonsensical. Though ESR and Gabriel eventually got theirs, but White has been phenomenal and really deserves a call. Southgate is another Ole...
Indeed he is but it is good for us the ARSENAL with respect to the Anfield adventure coming up after the international break as we dearly need our best legs for the coming NEXT 6 fixtures in

LIVERPOOL-AWAY

NEWCASTLE-HOME

MANCHESTER UNITED-AWAY

EVERTON-AWAY

SOUTHAMPTON- HOME

Jodera:
An unpopular opinion.
To be honest, I'm having mixed feelings ESR and especially Gabriel are being called to the national team. I know if they put on these performances they're giving, they'll surely make the world cup team, but as for now, I'm just afraid let none suffer any injury while on Intl break either through training.
Am I happy for them to get their first call up? Yes

But the arsenal fan in me is not so happy cos if anything happens (esp to ESR), na pepe we go com dey see
grin grin grin grin Don't worry as there is no cause for alarm since they are certainly not featuring for their country's first 11 in their first Caps after all.

They equally know that the future is bright for them with respect to their ages, so the training wouldn't be a do or die affair thus caution would be the key word for both as they know that Arsenal career is a priority for them in the meantime

I feel the comparison between tavarez and Sancho is unfair. If they're playing the same position or almost same position, the comparison would have been okay.
Very well said and I quite agree with you on what you have just said for the comparison is even very much unnecessary and uncalled for

Jodera:
they're proving so, but I'll love to make my conclusion at the end of the season
Okay but certainly if the can continue with the synergy that they have developed, champions league football would be back again for the ARSENAL at the end of the season that you have just referenced

What an unbelievable stats that we have picked up more points than anyone else at home this season in the premier league.

This is shocking indeed but that means we just need to avoid conceding away from home and then we would be good to go in terms of the top 4 challenge and hopefully earn the champions league spot at the end of the season in Truth

Are you sure that's his first
Yes that is his first call up to the senior squad after the preferred defender from Portuguese league sustained an injury.

Gabriel Magalhaes has been rewarded for his fine Arsenal form with a first ever call up to the senior Brazilian national side.

The 23-year-old has been immense since returning to the Gunners side after a knee injury since August and has played key part in their recent revival and 10 match unbeaten run.

Despite having not lost a game in Arsenal shirt since April the strength in depth that the Selecao have in the defensive areas, with players like Chelsea's Thiago Silva, PSG's Marquinhos and Eder Militao of Real Madrid, meant that the former Lille defender had only made his country's under-23 side.

But now after an injury to Lucas Verissimo, Gabriel will jet off to be part of the senior Brazil group for the first time.

This is not expected to affect his availability for Arsenal when they return from the international break.

During the last round of international fixtures fellow Brazilians Alisson and Fabinho were forced to miss Liverpool's Premier League clash with Watford after being forced to isolate due to the UK government's Covid-19 restrictions.

But after all countries were removed from the red list on October 28 Gabriel should be free to play for the Gunners when they travel to Anfield to play Jurgen Klopp's side when the Premier League resumes in just under a fortnight's time provided that he does not pick up an injuries.

To be Frank with you all, the defence has been doing a marvelous job of late, hence responsible for our clean sheet displays and lesser goals being conceded most especially Aaron Ramsdale that has stood knee and shoulder high up and above Leno in the goal keeping department, else we wouldn't have been praising the defence by now

It's been a long while that I have been out their reading as a guest rather than login like a regular that I used to be.

To God be the Glory though and I would like to say you guys have been top notch in keeping the flag of Arsenal fans flying rapidly and always.

Kudos to you guys indeed for your high up the sky indebt analysis and contributions always.

I must confess and say that I am happy to be back after getting inspired by our undisputed number one in the person of Aaron Ramsdale and then back line quartet of Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel and Tavares especially that I believe has made the Left full back position permanently his now with his less than 5 full start for Us-The ARSENAL FC already except if Mikel Arteta thinks otherwise that he would come back with Tierney after he has fully recovered from his present set back against LIVERPOOL after the international break indeed.

Once, Thumbs up guys for keeping the house rolling and flowing with commentaries
