I still have hope because i put in a strong application apart from that mistake.

I am also in the same issue with you from CIC, my is for SOWP, i was given 5 days to respond because mine was paper, i have replied them and waiting for the best, my dear is better to denial some one oh than be banned for 5 yrs, imagine me that my wife is there, person want come banned me for 5 yrs, that is Forbidden oh, want come kill me for conji . Well just write a good reason , for me i wrote a reason and supported it with document, all the best mate, we will succeed.

Yes i replied them on my own, 5 calender's days is too small to start looking for a lawyer to reply. I attached copies of the first work permit application i filled which the VFS collecting officer refused to accept and on that form i click Yes i have been refused a USA visa before. since the visa officer requested for any information or document to clear his concern, i think the initial application will play a big part in my defense.

I will advise to get an immigration layer to reply them for you, if your spouse is in Canada, use a layer in Canada because this is a big deal.

They gave me 5days to reply to this concern, which i have done. I have to fill another application form for work permit because the VFS officer said i should show what i have been doing in the past 10yrs, so i have to go down the cafer to use there computer to fill in a new form. I was so sure i filled in Yes on the section have you been refused a visa before, my daughter and wife was refused a UK visa and daughter a Canada visitor visa before my wife left for Canada. If i can declare my daughter own why wont i be able to declare mine. I replied them with a copy of my initial application form that the VFS guy rejected showing i replied YES to the question. if i mistakenly choose NO, it think it was duo to mistake because i was in a hurry to meet up with time.

i praying the visa officer forgive me without a ban for 5yrs....I already ask him/her to forgive me. This evening i have been thinking to go relax my friday with some cool drink in the top bar in shoprite ikeja, this people just kill my moral

I have been a member of this thread for 2yrs which i know it straight denial with such mistake.... Yes you can add your asset, anything you think that will make your application stronger is accepted to add. VFS will not accept wedding pictures, so no need going with it.

Try again and make sure all the information required are correct as stated in your application. As soon as you get it correct it will surely link.

No it will be treated as paper application, there is nothing to worry about, the reason for linking is just to know when there is any update in your application.

@kc4all, I tried to link my app online yesterday but no app was found. Thats quite strange cos it's been over 1 month since I submitted. @Veil1234 have you linked yours? Anyways I had called vfsglobal before and they confirmed that my app is still under processing... they also confirmed my email address as correct, so i wonder why I didn't get acknowledgment email after submission... anyways fingers crossed.

@justicia check very well, if you summit via paper route you must surely receive Sms and email notification about your application the same day your application was submitted. How will you then receive medical email if you did not get any email notification, i will advice you link you paper application online, so you can have control over your application.

So I finally submitted my application today via paper route.
Open work permit for myself, open study permit for my 5 year old daughter and TRV application for my 2 year old son.

I plan to link my application soon. Anyone knows If I will have to link all three applications differently?

@VEIL1234 you can link all application on line, but you have to link the three application separately online in the same account, I linked both my application and my daughter application online but kindly wait for 2 to 3 days after submission before linking, to allow your application updated in there system before linking.

Will it be best to apply for (SOWP) with wife's Study permit application or wait till she's in Canada before applying for (SOWP)?

Apply for wife's Study permit first, when she get her TRV and study permit, upon arrival in Canada, you can now apply with your daughter as soon as she commence class. That what i did.

Awaiting more success story here , I just linked me and my daughter( 1yrs, 3month) paper Application online which i did not do upfront medical. if i am called for medical will I be notify on my online linked application? Also do they ask toddler to undergo medical too?

Happy New year to all. Good to be here, i have a question concerning CIC application forms. For those that apply through paper root, what are the CIC forms i need to apply with my daughter...i want to apply for SOWP while my daughter for visiting because she is still a toddler.

Apart from the work permit application form and family form, and visiting form for my daughter, what other CIC form do i need to apply with?
