@George_D, since Atlantic Bird 3 is in 5 degree west is there a possibility that by lifting your dish a little bit higher will make the Nilesat tp to turn green on what really does the trick ?

@ George_D, been tryin to reach you thru your glo line but no way. Please the digisat lnb for nilesat you talked about is not avialable at my end, so i wanted to know if you can help me get it at your end so i can send the cash over. Thanks.

@ ola, if thats the case just but an AV ADOPTOR , it not more than 100 naira. Use it to split the video the tap your audio from any of the left or right audio port. That what i use for someone yesterday.

@ olatilar why not go thru your RF port. Though the only limitation is the inability to for multi view.
  @ pitodenz still waiting for your secret technic towards a better and faster way to nail nilesat because each time read the post of some members of this forum saying they spent two, four and even a whole trying to track that bird gives me the creeps. The one that freaks me out is that of enitan whereby people who have tracked that before came to help and yet the time was still extrem.

@kdaddy , just like George _D said there is no big deal in this thing and besides telling me to send you a mail when we can easily relate faster and effectively thru phone there by saving time and energy is not business like. Believe me, when i say we can work things out when you call me or better still just give me a flash and i 'll will call back.

Its funny trying to cover whats ment to be open. Just in a matter of days lygnsat, kingofsat and the likes of them will have it on their display.
Besides that, when you log on to google search engine, you will be amazed how open what will claim to hidden is. But then if we have to be the once that fulfill silence then so be it.

@ George_D , after taking a good look at my dish yesterday, i desided to find a way to increase the lenght of the scaler ring suspender and i got a 4% increase. throughout yesterday the signal has been on. later in the day i will check and see if it is still on and get back to you.

Again, its always better to track w2a with 3867 V 13332 once it goes green, then change to 3929 V 8299 and fine tune your dish.

you did not respond to the 2.4/3 m dish request will there be any hope ?

@ George_D and all, just want to know if any one is passing thru this experience on W2A C band; i notice that within the hours of 11 am/ 12pm the signal drops and becomes red till 11 pm / 12 am before it becomes stable and stays green till 11/12 before it goes red again each passing day.
I have done all manner of adjustment to the supermax lnb but the situation remains the same.
is there any other powerful cband lnb capable of dealing with this situation ?

By the way i need from 2.4 / 3 m used dish for nilesat , i dont know if there is any available for sale at your end.

@ seun , just bought another few days back in onitsha market for 17k

@ all W2A cband is trackable with 1.8m  but the singnal quality depends on your dish location.

Another thing is that the tp only goes green from  61%

The best time to track will be early hours of the morning because thats the only time the signal is stable

For those wishing to track with any thing less than 1.8m,  you might end up tracking in vain

@ all the gurus. i think you guys should come up with an c band lnb that can make the W2A tp turn green even at 30/40 %, you discovered it for nilesat so w2A will not be a problem.

For those using mpeg4 and still having problem with NTV on w4,
if you have more than one lnb, just try and change to another
because from my observation the NTV  tp is sensitive to some lnb.
also try and set your dish with the ntv tp posted earliar.

@ Iykemann, the bird is w4/w7 but those tp only goes green on mpeg 4 recievers, i tried it on 53x it showed red but on my 69x it goes green to about 71% . I have been watching those stations for up to a week plus.

@ salamander thanks for your responce but you failed to mention the reference point on wether the dish is facing dstv east or that of w3a . so as to make the tracking a lot more easy.

Hopes it shows green on other decoders .
