@ salamander as regards to w2a,what position did you use in tracking. is your dish facing Dstv east or w3a east ?

@ George_D, as regards to the w4/w7 issue you all talked about earliar , i reliazed that with 4669x you can view four more station like TPA1,TPA2, TBCI and my most favourite NTV .

@ Ibaku, remove the dielectric inside your lnb. and try again.

@ George i've been trying to reach you with that glo line but keep saying not reachable please just flash my number with any line i can reach you. Please its importan that i speak with you.

@ twinskenny and all, please what is the best available lnb for nilesat now? just about to head to the market, if its allowed let me know the cost.

Each time i stare at those images, only one thought comes in mind,

stand beside that nairaland fta wonder and snap a picture of

(1) me and the kingkong dish (2) me , kingkong dish and the king of kingkong dish. just maybe after that, i will be able to sleep at night feeling fulfilled.

You guys are my role model because you have me a sence of direction. money makes fta more instresting because it makes you go beyound borders.

@ George, ultrasurf works as well, might even be faster than freegate. Besides freegate refuse to take me to any downloading url but ultrasurf did. Still tryin to figure out the possibility of gtunnel.

About that stuff i called you about, the thing refuse to pick any bird so had no option but to leave it on the east position. At lest i can track all the birds on the east position. I think the problem has to do with the way the supermax dish mount is designed making it difficult to even find where to fix the jack to move from east to west.

@ oilepo, i dont know if you are using a fixed or motorized dish but either ways one of the things you need do, is to adjust or shift your dish a little to left when standing behind it .( you know that bird is at 64. 2 degree, so if not well positioned you might loose signals of some of tps ). Pls be sure to go to the dish setting on your decoder when performing this task. But if the situation remains the same, then try and adjust your lnb, making sure that the dielectric is well fitted. By the way i am using a supermax dish and lnb.

@ oladiran, since you are in the northan part of nigeria, a 1.8m dish is the lest you can use to get those stations.

@ George _D , the supermax lnb is da bomb, thanks alot as for the other lnb i am yet to buy it but will soon. But when i do, i will like to know the best way to fix both c and ku lnb to work together, please enlighten me as God will continue to bless you the more. Let me go back to see if i can track intelsat 901 & 902.

@ George_D , as regards to the motorized jack , i was able to find a way to reconstruct it to start moving vertical. Still awaites your reply on other issues as i keep exploring other possibilities. Have a beautiful evening.

@ Oga, George_D & all complement of the season. After going through the links you gave me i was able to gain more insight and i want to say thank you for that. Again i was able to setup the motorize jack but after the setup i realize that the dish was not moving in a vertical position but rather moving in a rainbow like line. Also i tried tracking some sat but i only succeeded in getting paksat 1 which has indian channels, all effort to track intelsat 7/10 cband was in vain despite the fact that i mounted the 1.8m dish on the decked roof top of a one storey building. Tried every possible adjustment to the lnb but nothing stil. Tried nss 7 cband only Tvafrica showed green, both tv3 and viasat that's within that region remains red. What could be possibly wrong ? Do i go for another lnb ? If yes , then which do you recommend . As regard to tracking ku band with cband dishes what type is currently the best because i will still like to explore that aspect. @ Binsule except you live in the northan part of nigeria tracking nilesat with 1.8m dish is just impossible within your region but then miracles do happen.
@ Abdul. From 60cm dish and above u can track down mbc 1 &2 on eutelsat w3a and CRTV on astrabird . These stations can meet up to about 20% to 30% of your movie and sport need but if u hav the money go for multi-tv, that will give you a more advantage.

@ chakaz, absolutely no , only from strong 4669x , 4900 which is what i am using or Daarsat decoder or any mpeg 4 or HD decoder.

Using dstv position as your guild, all you have to do is lift your dish a little more higher and you are sure to get it. Use this tp 12600 v 3230 0r call this number 08030525771 , for more guidiance if need be.

@ George_D, please i will also be glad if you can provide me with a link that focus on motorizing a c band dish, i need to motorize my supermax 1.8m pan dish with a Eurostar 24" Reg Actuator & a superjack EZ-2000 positioner. Please i need to know how to go about it because i have not be able to figure out how to connect or screw it to the dish. I confess, i am confused, S.O.S

@ odaumine, no disrespect intend , but are you jokin when you said that 1.8 is the minimum size of dish to nail sirius 4 that has channels like stv 1 , vox africa, Bvn, lmtv and so on or is there another sirius 4. Picking that bird with a 60 cm dish facing south here in Asaba, Delta state takes me just two minutes at most because it so easy. To all the gurus within this region abi na lie ?

@ emeystan , yes you can use a 60 cm dish to recieve sirius 4. Use this tp 12605 v 29950

@ Enitan 2002, I just secured a 1.8 m supermax pole mount dish with a strong cband lnb but the problem is, i have never installed a c band dish before. please be kind enough to give me directive on how to go about it. as well as the most easy to track bird. I reside in Asaba ,delta state. thanks for your swift responce and God bless.
