Greetings to everyone, I am Michael an Electrical graduate with practical knowledge in domestic installation and maintenance for 10years+.

I started learning electrical installations, wiring and circuit maintenance from my sss1 days that's about 12 years ago, chiseling through walls, laying pipes and covering them up. Till today if you get me a gig or I get a gig, I still know and do the drills.

While in Higher institution, I learnt tailoring with my spare time and am good at it. Now you wondering why is this guy jobless?. Yes let me slide you in on that.

Mid last year, after much consideration and thinking gathered some money moved to Abuja to seek greener pasture leaving northeast region to try afresh and seek a fresh start and all of that.

I got a job in my early days in Abuja first month, I started planning on how to buy a car, so I can be running pickups while heading to work and on my way back due to the transportation issues I noticed and possibly make my self extra cash.

Two months into the job, my company a fintech was in financial crisis some people had to go, I got burnt by that heat and had to move on. I tried and am still trying to get something else out there, but up until now nothing.

Now I finally got some offers this past January through an outsourcing company and tried I was invited for interview in the north east(Gombe). I went to two different loan apps to get loans 5k each to cover transportation 10k.

That's how I got into these mess. In my calculation if I start the job, it's a bank job through an outsourcing company, I can pay off the loans and set things straight. But up until now, I passed the interview we waiting all in WhatsApp group for our medical date, it's been quiet.

Am in depted to the apps am broke, tried to run a few menial jobs but they are not coming again. If you can get me a job or I can be of any service to you help me or link me up so I can get out of this mess.

Link me to any kind of job, I will be grateful that would help me pay up and be at peace. I am really worried I hate embarrassment.

Good evening everyone,

I am Michael, an electrician with good experience in electrical installations and maintenance. I also graduated in 2019 HND in the same field.

As a young guy, trying to be independent I try as much as possible to make use of my spare time to acquire a skill. I can sew, do decorations in for churches though and a few friends. I learnt graphics design on phone and can do some appreciable designs. Also, I have experience in customer service and front desk operations because I was engaged with a microfinance bank.

I really love Electrical Engineering, I want to build a career but I don't know how to go about it and the reason is because I have little or no Idea on how to start this.

I recently moved to Abuja to see if I can get a company or organization to start with no matter how little the pay is so long I get to work and grow am okay.

The reason behind this post is seek advice or possible get a good samaritan who can mentor me in this field or link me up. I have tried my best and still trying.

Someone out there just help with an Engineering related job or take me as a staff even for stipends I would be grateful.

I'm as very light smoker- at most, three to four cigarettes a week...

I'm very young, and I started smoking two years ago...

In our society, if a woman is known to be a smoker... She's looked down on... And false assumptions are made of her personality...

Why the stigmatisation? I know men are victims too but women who smoke are viewed as classless etc... While with men, it's simply a bad habit...

What's your opinion on women who smoke? And what's your reason?

I would appreciate comments based on experiences rather than bias...

And I need valid points how SMOKING directly indicates a wayward woman...

Firstly, I won't condemn the act but I will strongly advice every Lady to stay away from smoking, there are habits known to be Men's traits and not females and when a woman found doing such it becomes a big deal.

As nagging is to women,any man found nagging is considered a fool.

Now even if you try to find away to put your conscience to rest, please don't live a lie...... Smoking is dangerous to both genders but women are more stigmatized because it should be a mans thing.
