IGBOPROMISE1: You lot can’t think of anything else besides how to try and prove to yourselves that you’ve ‘conquered and dominated’ the Igbo! That’s what this thread is all about! Once you’ve convinced yourself then all is well with the world innit!?….Your ethnicity is then ‘doing well’ and you can go to bed and drift off to a sound sleep! Well, no one can accuse you of having tall and lofty ambitions for yourself can they!?
This obsession by you lot, who 9 times out of 10 are sure to come from a certain ethnicity and having a certain partisan leaning, to be seen to have ‘dominated’ the Igbo is one sick obsession that even Sigmund Frued would be intrigued about!
Are you the spokesperson for ibos or why this your wailing? ☹️
Omooba77: The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has disclosed an alleged scheme involving an oil cabal in Nigeria working alongside international oil companies (IOCs) to undermine the operations of private refineries like Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
During his address at the November 2024 Abuja Special Holy Ghost service, Adeboye called on Nigerians to pray for divine intervention against the actions of unscrupulous oil marketers who are intent on causing hardship for the populace.
The cleric said that oil marketers are working hard to obstruct the refinery’s operations, following previous sabotage incidents affecting Nigeria’s four state-owned refineries.
Pastor Adeboye reminded the congregation that it was God who inspired Aliko Dangote to create a refinery after many unsuccessful attempts to revive the country’s four public refineries, which had wasted billions of Naira with minimal success.
He raised concerns about the continued reliance on fuel imports, despite Nigeria being a significant crude oil producer.
“Are we under a curse?” he asked. “We have four refineries, we poured all kinds of money into them, none of them is working.
“But God raised someone to build a refinery that works. He is not my relative; he is not from my village. He is not even a Christian, but he is a Nigerian who says, ‘Why should my people suffer when I have the means to build a refinery that can work?’ Now he is refining petrol, and some people want to stop him from selling it, so they can keep importing.”
DAILY POST reports that the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN has reached an agreement with Dangote Refinery to sell petrol to its members directly.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are still buying petrol at N1060 and N1200 at NNPC stations and other retail outlets.

DomPerignon: Atiku has been contesting primaries since forever. Buhari did same too and Tinubu fought a hard won battle to clinch the ticket of a party he was instrumental in forming. So why does Obi think there's a political party our there which he had no hand in its formation , willing to give him automatic ticket ?
This shows a very dark side of Obi as having an entitlement mindset.
Kalvan: Obidients are public enemies of the nation.
I'm an economist, so I'll break it down. If Trump implements tariffs like he has said he will, the price of the dollar will appreciate in response, since tariffs are inflationary and as a result US debt instrument rates will remain high. Nigerians are currently crying about the weaker naira due to Nigeria being so import dependent. Why do obidients/IPOB want to see the economy of this country brought to its knees just because Obi didn't win?

It looks like Iran is not just in conflict with Israel but is also targeting Israeli-funded groups within its own borders. By eliminating key leaders of the Jaish Al-Adl group, Iran seems determined to dismantle threats linked to Israel from within.
madridguy: Which Hamas leader is that again? Why are you trying to force them to sign peace agreement? The Hamas have told you Israeli they won't sign any peace agreement until total withdrawal of your soldiers, release every Palestinians in their prisons.

Daejumong: Why do married women Cheat? What made hundreds of rich and influential married women sleep with the Guinean bloke? Why did they break their marital vows and warm the bed of Baltasar without protection?
Research suggests that there are several reasons why married women might cheat. Here are some common factors:
Relationship Dissatisfaction: Many women report cheating because they are unhappy in their current marriage. This dissatisfaction can stem from ongoing conflicts, emotional detachment, or entrenched unhealthy patterns.
Emotional Neglect: Feeling underappreciated, neglected, or ignored can drive women to seek validation and emotional connection elsewhere.
Revenge: Some women cheat as a form of retaliation if they discover their partner has been unfaithful.
Boredom and Desire for Novelty: A desire for excitement or something new can also be a motivator. This might be due to feeling that their life has become dull or unexciting.
Lack of Intimacy: When women feel more like a housekeeper, nanny, or financial provider than a partner, they might seek an external situation that validates them for who they are.
Emotional Void: Women often cheat to fill an emotional void, seeking the intimacy and connection they feel is missing in their primary relationship.
Cheating and infidelity is often a symptom of deeper issues within the relationship. Addressing these underlying problems through open communication and counseling can sometimes help prevent infidelity.
