Culture › Re: Princess Bilkisu Gambari: Standing Strong In Ilorin Estate Battle by Kdon2: 7:23am On Nov 15, 2025
abuedowu:
For more than three decades, silence and secrecy have surrounded the estate of the late His Royal Highness (Dr.) Zulkarnaini Gambari Mohammed, the 9th Emir of Ilorin. But one woman, Princess Bilkisu Tinuola Gambari, has refused to allow that silence to erase truth or justice.

On November 13, 2025, the Kwara State High Court, presided over by Honourable Justice H. T. Kawu, heard the latest phase of the long-standing estate dispute. The hearing, centered on the administration and alleged mismanagement of the late Emir’s estate, saw Princess Bilkisu Tinuola Gambari appear personally in court, representing herself and the other heirs after decades of unresolved inheritance matters.

A Battle Against Fear and Suppression
In a courageous move, Princess Bilkisu informed the court that she and her family were appearing without legal counsel, not by choice but by necessity. According to her statement in open court, no lawyer in Ilorin was willing to take their case, citing concerns for their personal safety.

This revelation highlights a troubling reality: a system in which those seeking justice face intimidation and abandonment. Yet Bilkisu’s resolve did not waver. For 34 years, she and the other heirs attempted to resolve the matter internally within the royal family. For 34 years, their efforts were met with silence, manipulation, and unilateral decisions regarding the Emir’s estate.

Why the Heirs Went to Court
When His Lordship questioned why the matter had not been resolved “within the palace,” Bilkisu responded with a clear and compelling explanation:

“After 34 years of trying to resolve this matter internally, we had no choice but to turn to the law.”

Her statement captures the essence of what this case represents: not rebellion against tradition, but a plea for justice, fairness, and accountability within it. The heirs are not fighting the Emirate; they are challenging injustice within it.

Court Declines Ex-Parte Motion and Adjourns to December 18
The court declined to entertain the ex-parte motion, which sought to restrain further interference with the estate and to permit substituted service on the respondents. The matter was adjourned to December 18, 2025, for further proceedings.

Although some may perceive this as a procedural setback, it is, in reality, a testament to the heirs’ persistence. Despite institutional resistance and procedural challenges, Bilkisu and her siblings continue to demonstrate faith in the judiciary and in Nigeria’s constitutional promise of equality before the law.

Standing Up for Truth and Legacy
The estate of the late Emir of Ilorin represents more than land or property. It embodies the legacy of a revered monarch who ruled with humility and wisdom. It is painful and unfortunate that this legacy is now overshadowed by internal strife and alleged mismanagement.

Princess Bilkisu Tinuola Gambari’s decision to stand before the court without legal aid is not only admirable but historic. Her leadership symbolizes the voice of every silenced heir, every marginalized family member, and every citizen who dares to speak truth to power.

A Call for Transparency and Justice
As the case continues, Bilkisu and the other heirs have reaffirmed their faith in the judicial process and their commitment to ensuring that the estate is administered in accordance with Islamic law (Fara’id), family tradition, and the laws of the land.

Their demand is simple: transparency, fairness, and accountability.

For a case that has lingered for 34 years, that is not too much to ask.

The Path Forward
The hearing on December 18, 2025, will mark another crucial moment in this historic legal struggle. Regardless of the obstacles, one truth remains clear: the heirs will not be silenced.

As Princess Bilkisu Tinuola Gambari continues to stand firm, she represents not only her family but every Nigerian seeking truth in the face of intimidation and injustice.
It shows how difficult to get justice in ilorin in view of the choke hold by the emir. It's so unfortunate☹️

This is illegal and unconstitutional on a federal level.

The Lagos State Indigeneship Automated Certificate is a sleekly disguised form of digital discrimination.

By institutionalizing “indigene status,” the government effectively divides residents into first-class citizens and others, contradicting the 1999 Constitution’s guarantee of equality and freedom from discrimination (Section 42).

In a cosmopolitan state built by migrants, codifying ancestry into a digital gatekeeper for access to schools, jobs, or benefits is regressive. It risks excluding millions of Lagos-born Nigerians whose families migrated generations ago.

Automation doesn’t sanitize bias, it only makes discrimination more efficient.

The Attorney General of the Federation Lateef Fagbemi should step in and uphold the constitution.

Evidence now available suggests that Prince Senator Prince Ned Nwoko travelled internationally with his now temporarily estranged wife, Regina Daniels, at a time when it is clear Senator Prince Ned Nwoko travelled internationally with his now temporarily estranged wife, Regina Daniels, when she was still a minor. Records indicate she was born in October 2001 and that their marriage took place in May 2019, when she was 17 years old. Ned Nwoko changed Regina Daniels name from Regina Nneamaka Favour Ojeogwu to Regina Daniels. He obtained and obtained a fake INEC Nigeria voter card to conceal her age after introducing her to drugs to enable him to force himself on her. Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has traveled with Regina Daniels to Jordan, UAE, Egypt, with her only passport showing she was underage when Ned Nwoko married 'Gina," but for some curious reason, never took her to England, the US, or Europe because he knew the implications.

This latest revelation raises serious legal and ethical questions that can never be ignored. The facts, as they stand, point to a violation of both moral and statutory boundaries, and the truth will soon be fully public. No amount of influence or political power should shield anyone from accountability when such grave issues are involved. Politics › Re: Footage Of Floating Corpses After Clash Between Boko Haram And ISWAP (Photos/Vid by Kdon2: 9:20pm On Nov 12, 2025
Glimpsetv:
A new footage has emerged showing several corpses floating on the Lake Chad River after the deadly clash between Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters. In the footage, multiple bodies can be seen drifting on the water, believed to be the aftermath of the violent confrontation that occurred a few days ago.

Heavy gunfire could be heard during the clashes as fighters exchanged shots while moving on boats across the lake, shouting “Allahu Akbar” amid the fighting.

Interestingly, a few days ago, when an earlier footage from the clash was posted, some Nairaland users speculated whether the fighters were merely shooting at the water or “at fish,” claiming it seemed there were no casualties. Others had requested pictures of bodies. This latest video now confirms the tragic outcome, showing corpses floating in the river.

The Jama’tu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction of Boko Haram reportedly overran ISWAP positions, capturing weapons and equipment, while sustaining minimal losses. The ongoing inter-jihadist conflict has persisted since the groups split in 2016, fueled by ideological differences and a struggle for territorial control in the Lake Chad basin.

Politics › Re: Is It Time For Tinubu To Resign And Handover? by Kdon2: 9:48am On Nov 11, 2025
melechpilusof:
Believe it or not president Tinubu is in trouble.
The Vice president and alot of people within his administration are sympathizers of Islamic jihad. I have always known Tinubu since I was a little boy, his name was always associated with fighting for what is right and even during the Goodluck Jonathan administration when corruption was rife, he gathered forces to unsit GEJ. I don't support what happened during the last presidential election but I still salute his ruggedness in his ability to claim victory against all odds.
But now, with the culpability of some politicians in his administration and the recruitment of terrorists into the Nigerian armed forces, one wonders how president Tinubu will handle the situation. Mr President is in danger, how can he identify those that are loyal to him when there's a substantial amount of jihadi sympathizers in his government? Because it is
now certain that we must do away with sharia law, I wonder how the VP and other Muslims will react to this. Do you think Muslims will fold their hands and watch the abolishment of sharia law?
I think it will be Jihad and the Rifle alone.

Looking at the whole situation, it is easy to identify that Obasanjo and Tinubu played a role in the invitation of Trump to dismantle the terrorists.

The system Buhari put in place is being dismantled. He wanted to maintain
1. The power to choose leaders during presidential elections, Mahmoud Yakubu was supposed to remain Inec chairman.
2. Reforms in petroleum sector. Ensuring that Nigeria is self sufficient when it comes to petroleum refining. So essentially, while other countries are experiencing increased fuel prices, Dangote is making it affordable and cheaper for Nigeria.
3. Imprisonment or elimination of MNK.

Either stop the killings and end sharia law in Nigeria or prepare for turmoil. We all know that sharia law is here to stay so what other options do we have?

I forsee our military forces splitting into pro-jihad and anti jihad groups.
Hand over to the clueless one ba?

Christianity Etc › Re: Apostle Femi Lazarus: A False Apostle And A Deceitful Worker by Kdon2: 9:50pm On Nov 10, 2025
PROPHETmichael:
"Thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars" (Revelation 2:2)

The Lord commended the church in Ephesus for testing every voice that claimed divine authority. They did not mistake eloquence for anointing or popularity for proof of calling. They measured every supposed apostle by the truth of Christ’s gospel, by integrity, compassion, and courage in the face of evil.

So must the church today. A true apostle is not one who flatters power but one who confronts it in the light of God’s justice. When a preacher stands before the people and denies the suffering of innocents, excusing or minimizing bloodshed, that voice no longer echoes heaven’s truth. Whenever religious figures allow political payments, privilege, or fear to silence their conscience, they betray the trust of the pulpit.

The mark of authentic apostleship is not comfort but conviction. It is a willingness to speak the truth about oppression, persecution, and violence even when it offends those in high places. To stand with the oppressed is to stand with Christ, but to deny their pain for personal or political gain is to stand against Him.

The litmus test remains simple and flawless.
Does the messenger uphold truth, righteousness, and compassion, or do they protect lies, privilege, and power?

For Femi Lazarus to stand on the pulpit and deny that there is genocide in Nigeria amounts to denying the pain Jesus went through on the cross.

Femi, you have betrayed Christ and it's not too late for you to return the silver they gave you and ask the Lord for forgiveness.

Moreover, for one to even carry the title of an apostle by biblical standard, such a person must have proven record healing the sick. I have never seen or come across such videos from this APC apointed apostle called Femi Lazarus.

You miss the point all the time. Ojukwu was born in Nigeria. He went back to his home. He had to come back to Nigeria because Igboland is in Nigeria. He was born in Northern Nigeria and grew up there. The fact that he said do not invest too much outside igboland proves his head was well on his shoulders. It's like investing in Nairaland there was a time when it was not a good idea to spend too much time in Nairaland because Nairaland could ban you for any reason. Since Nairaland has cooled down and is banning less people who really liked Nairaland will come back to Nairaland. The banning drove so many people away but since Nairaland has cold down we can chill. So when Nigeria cold down Ojukwu came back and he was not afraid to go to the North
That's why he came back begging and singing like a frightened dog with its tail between it's legs. I repeat, he is not a leader.
