The first time I heard of Pro government protesters attacking anti government protesters was during GEJ. During the Oduah Gate scandal, Dino Melaye led Anti corruption network group in a protest rally, another pro government group came and attacked them, police also arrested Dino while his group was attacked. Dino is now a Senator I know he can never forget the incident. Later in the government, there was always pro government group attacking any anti government rally. It happened several times in Abuja, OPC held Lagos hostage for hours for Jonathan before election. They damaged so many things.

Also in London, at Chartham House, while the whole world was waiting for Buhari interview by International media organizations just before the 2015 presidential elections, a pro jonathan group carried out protest at the venue, they were later challenged by Pro Buhari group before security operatives intervened.

There is no bad precedence here. In fact, he has set an excellent precedence for others to follow when situation like this occur. We should always be guided by law when analysing issues such as this instead of emotion and hatred.

The president did nothing wrong by falling sick and taking the needed leave to treat himself. He handed over power as the law demands and anybody asking him to resign because he's treating himself his doing so out of ignorance or hatred for the president. The protest is unnecessary and unpopular.

A leave of how many months ? To what benefits is the billions spent on his health meant to be ? He has handed over yet his deputy is as toothless as ever, why ?

What is the essence of the billions voted towards the Aso rock clinic, while the President splurge millions of our hard earned FX elsewhere.

Common sense should tell you not to take political protest to some places in order to prevent breakdown of law and order. If I organise a pro one Nigeria protest inside Onitsha market, the outcome will be very bloody for me so I won't try it out of common sense.

What is political in the protest ? Asking that your president does the needful by not wasting the citizens time holing up in London doing nothing.

Common sense should tell you that setting a bad precedence like Buhari is doing is bad, Any govt./President can simply handover to his deputy then proceeds to gallivant indefinitely citing he has activated his deputy to act in acting capacity.

The FG can not release an amount that is more than what was allocated in the budget, worst case, for arrears, after paying the arrears, what happens to the payment of salaries and university funding for the remaining fiscal year. So ASUU should be rational in their demand.

There are other issues on the ASUU list that doesn't bother on money. Why has the FG refused to accent the establishment of the NUPEMCO which is supposed to service the pension of ASUU members. What are they afraid of ?
