As from 12 midnight the eportal will be opened for filling and printing of accommodation request form, and it may not last for many days. So if you are interested in accommodation, go and sign your current statement of account, fill and print accommodation request form from the eportal and submit it on time at the PG portal

Good advice, but I think this is good for the working/business class. If you are not engaged i think it is better to resume early, familiarize yourself with the evnt., get materials and start reading ahead of the class.

Be patient and don't be confused. and also check on fellow applicants (in your department) to know what's up to date. What department?

Your admission is the surest

Admission steps are as follows.
It applies to those that will pass and those whose department won't write exam.
1. Departmental recommendation
2. Departmental approval
3. Faculty recommendation/approval
4. Creation of student account (which comes after the PG Board has approved you) and this step is equal to admission.

Once you see departmental recommendation, ladies and gentlemen, you can be sure of your admission, just start buying school stuffs

I think it varies with department, and I'm not sure if departments use same format always. Mine was objectives last year

If at this point you still have issues with anything especially on your referees not getting their link, or your referees filling their form and it is not reflecting on your page, please come and hook their neck in netque for solution because your referees details are vital to your application. And as it is now some departments have started inviting applicants for entrance exams.
I wish all of you success. I didn't really prepare for the test in my time, I just believed that I CANNOT fail and I wrote the exam with that confidence and it was a success. Wish you the same.

Last year I was looking forward to see all the ladies that I've been conversing with on nairaland. But when I met her in person at the school bookshop area I knew that there's no way here. Please Israel, I have problem concerning the registration. I'm a graduate if English department OAU and I applied for Msc public administration but was told by a friend that that department doesn't admit candidates from other departments and told me I'm supposed to apply for MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION. I already applied and submitted my online application and I don't know how to go about changing the course I applied for. Please I'll appreciate any assistance you could render. Thanks.

Please first verify what your friend told you from the department, and if you still want to change it go to Netque's office in PG College ON TIME. Somebody that want to change from MPA (master of public admin) to Msc(Public Admin) went there(to netque) of recent and they gave him a specific time when it will be effected. So pls go there on time (but I insist that you confirm from the department first)

please israel. i have bought the card but since thursday i av not been able to log in my pin to start registration. could you please help confirm if the problem is from netque or is there anything we can do to solve this. one other guy is complaining too. it says error 504 gateway timeout. pls respond asap

It should be general and it's going to be resolved. Don't mind the deadline right now because it is OAU's custom to extend the sales of form at least once (if not twice) by a month.

Anyone who want to relate any issue with me should use my whatsapp line because I don't check nairaland often anymore. It will surprise you to know that I sometimes abandon my personal convenience to seek answers to some of your questions. 08162601415

Concerning Transcript submission:
1. Transcript submission deadline is not the same with application deadline, meaning that you can even apply on the day of application deadline.

2. If your transcript is not ready by the time the receipts of supporting documents start, come and submit other document to the admission office, your transcript will be added when it is ready. But note that the department will not collect your documents without your transcript because that's what they really need.

3. Pls do everything possible to get your transcript within a month after the day of application deadline,

Please I'd like the experienced ones in here to hlp me ans the following questions:

1) If ones transcript nd other relevant documents do not get to d postgrad school nd dept before 18th of Dec, will it affect ones chances of gaining admission Cos am of the school of thought that it's only payment and registration that is compulsory before the deadline.

2) Can I fill in my NYSC and undergraduate days internship experience under the employment records? Or is it for those currently employed??

3) Do I need to write my form number alone when sending my transcript or both form number and my name??

4) Please I ll like anyone familiar with Chemical Engineering dept to hlp me with options available for Chem Eng Msc program there @OAU.

ANSWERS:
1. The deadline of 18th does not apply to submission of transcript and other documents but get every thing ready as soon as possible, in fact the admission officer said that they have not started collecting transcript and other documents for now. I can't remember the date the officer fixed for collection, but I think it may start soon. You can keep in touch with me on my whatsapp line to know if they have started collecting it.

2. Employment record is not compulsory, you can leave it.

3. You will see the instruction of what to write @the entrance of Admission/Netque office and if it is no longer there ask and you will be told.

4. Filling options is not compulsory, you can leave it. And the minimum CGPA that is required at Chem Engi is 3.00, I've been there to ask.

And please would the referees be minimum of Ph.D holders?

I used 1 phd holder and two msc holders. I don't think it counts so long as they are your lecturers.

According to instruction: they should be academic and should be familiar with your academic work
