His quarrel with the Benin traditional council is also killing his political capital
Leave them to day dreaming. Benin's don't joke with anything related to Oba. Obaseki has lost all the support and trust he had before his re election in 2020. Asue his candidate will lose woefully in Edo south. The legacy faction of pdp has more formidable and popular members who performed during their positions held before has representatives in national assembly and even state assembly round the state. Dan orbih played crucial role in Obaseki re election. The legacy arm of pdp worked against them last year and Pdp only win the re schedule house of representatives seat for igueben at of 9 seat. Apc won 6 and labour 2. In the Senate pdp didn't win anyone. Apc won 2 and labour 1. Pdp has been winning most of the national assembly seat in Edo state prior to last year. Philip shiabu has just also collapsed his structure and campaign buses for Senator Okpeboho and hon idahosa.

Mayaki, one of Oshiomole's right right hand man for over 20 years has also echoed what we have been saying.
We have told APC zombies on Nairaland that don't live in Edo state that Asue Ighodalo has already won the election, he has no rival in the upcoming Edo state Governorship election.
Even the picking of Osarodion Ogie by Edo state PDP was another masterstroke, that will deliver nothing less than 80% of the Edo South votes, APC deputy candidate Denco is not no match and paper weight to Osarodion Ogie when it comes to Edo South and Benin politics.
Are Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie will win overwhelming in Edo South and Edo Central, and lose marginally in Edo North to be declared and returned elected as Governor and Deputy Governor...Quote me anywhere
Dey play, they will not score half of the vote in Benin kingdom, with the way Obaseki has be fighting the palace. John mayaki is from my town, he had a ghastly accident early this year and the reason for this outburst according to him was that leaders in Apc Edo state chapter didn't check on him. He don't really command vote in my town but will probably win his unit but can't win our ward. He his definitely a sound man and a journalist of repute. He has even be quite politically since 2020 and was not even active in local politics in our LGA in last year election. Senator Urhoghide, hon Iyama ogbiede and hon idahosa can't be beaten to votes in Edo south by Ogie. They will pull more votes. If you are from Edo state, you will know this heavyweight politician are currently the most popular. Ogie highest position he has attained is the SSG he is now. Ovia is settled for denco already, Iyama has street credibility in oredo and Obaseki begged him to be running mate to Asue but declined severally. He is wike man and the legacy faction. He remains the best rep member who has represented oredo federal constituency in terms of performance till date. Ask about that. Senator Urhoghide is a force and has DG of Apc campaign council and the immediate senator of Edo south, he command huge followers. When he did his homecoming party at Uyi grand event hall in Benin, many people were testifying to his goodwill. Labour party will also help reduces pdp natural votes just has it happen in the presidential elections.

People who wanted to start restaurant business but don’t want to go through the effort of creating a new brand and growing customers .

While this looked like massive chain growth , they couldn’t enforce the meals have the same quality and taste accords board . Franchise members started adding their stuff . Why not ! It’s their business .

Then once a customer have a bad experience at an outlet , they start looking for alternatives sub consciously and they’ll feel all outlets are bad .

Name the food we depend on from North
Note middle belt is not North

Goats, cows, beans are most important from Niger Republic reason they are not expensive since they close their border

Yam is from moble belt and South East

Vegetables are from midle belt or South East

Melon is from middle belt

Rice is imported or locally farmed

Garri locally farmed mostly few imports from middle belt

Basically North supply to South East is mostly onions and tomatoes
So middle belt are not part of north again. North Central states like benue, plateau. Go back to secondary, you don't know what you are saying

The House of Representatives representing the Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin federal constituency of Osun State, Hon. Olusoji Adetunji, visited Ada ahead of the Sallah festivities.

A video shared online shows the moment the Reps member was ambushed by his constituents following his arrival.

According to reports, the people of Ada felt insulted by the Sallah handouts he came to give them while riding in his expensive car.

Locals can be seen screaming and calling for the reps member to be beaten as they surrounded him.

One woman is seen cautioning the man filming against recording the incident.

However, the person behind the camera insisted on filming as he insulted the reps member and other politicians, calling them “mad people”.

Unfortunately the same labour house of rep candidate we all go out for, has now join Obaseki and rewarded the office of deputy governor. He condemned Obaseki government just last here and today he is romancing with him. That is a youth too. No single project to his name to the LGA. They just use him to checkmate labour party and they forget they will even both lose the election. Olumide Akpata is not a bad candidate at all but he can't be governor when his zone is about to finish. Obaseki taught his new deputy is popular in our LGA not knowing the factor that made him to get those vote across age, was Apc fielding a third termer with nothing to show and the legacy group of pdp worked against Obaseki candidate by also supporting the labour party. Other election was won by Apc.presidency and Senate.

You people said the refinery will never work but has God have it, you guys are been shamed now. All the roads he constructed are still durable unlike the emperor who's own has started failing when he has not left the seat. Asue Ighodalo will be worse than Obaseki. Aisosa25:
Edo people should elect only a leader that can sustain Obaseki’s vision, legacy, says Jonathan

... as Edo hosts, honours Yayi, Kenyatta, Sambo, Mumba others at State Banquet

Nigeria’s former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has urged Edo people to elect only leaders that can sustain the vision and legacy of Governor Godwin Obaseki, noting that the governor’s impact on the state’s education and public service sectors is highly commendable and worthy of emulation.

The former president said this during a State Banquet organized in honour of visiting African leaders and other dignitaries where individuals and organisations, who contributed to reforming the State’s public education sector were honoured and awarded.

It was a night for recognition as the First Lady of Edo State, Dr. Betsy Obaseki, presented awards to visiting guests, including Nigeria's Minister of Education, Mamman Tahir; former Vice President, Namadi Sambo; former President of Benin Republic, Boni Yayi; former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, former Vice President of Zambia, Dr. Nevers-Sekwila Mumba; Deputy Governors of Bauchi and Bayelsa States, and other dignitaries from across Africa.

Some other award recipients include the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation, Rosula Foundation, and MTN Nigeria, among others.

Jonathan hailed Obaseki for his drive for inclusive education policies and for recognizing groups and individuals who have invested in education in the State.

He said: “I know about Obaseki and governors within the Niger Delta. I have an idea about what they are doing. I kept quiet, but you know that when somebody has a vision, people may not be too happy in some areas. It is very difficult to satisfy the human population but one key thing is that Obaseki has a vision for Edo people.

“I sincerely thank him for that vision. I hope whoever will take over from him will continue with that vision. He has taken education to a level where if it continues, it will help. Look at what he has done today; he has given recognition to deserving people and organizations that play key roles in the education of our children.”

According to him, “We thank the Governor for his vision for automatic employment to First Class graduates of Edo extraction. It’s only a man that means well for his people that can do this. It is similar to what I did when myself and Sambo were in Office. We came up with the Presidential Scholarship of Innovation and Development. That was a special program we designed; it had nothing to do with politics.”

On his part, Governor Obaseki said the gathering was organized to appreciate stakeholders for their interest in boosting education in the state, noting, “We want to render our gratitude to each and every one of you who has contributed to where we are today in Edo State. One area that the world has come to recognise Edo in recent times is in the strides we have made in education. Globally, Edo State is recognized as an accelerator in terms of its education reforms, along with about fifteen other countries in the world. I believe that Edo is the number one or two of the sub-nationals in that ranking of nations.

“We attribute the success to the support that we received from almost everybody here tonight. When we embarked on a journey to reform our educational system in Edo, we had no choice. But we also did not realize that the success will be this resounding - that the entire world will recognize what we have done or that our children will be learning at the rate they are doing today.”

You nailed it. Governors are the major problems of the country. Just imagine how much EFFC is accusing Yaya bello of stealing. Most of them have totally killed LGA. In last year, Edo state collected 55b on behalf of the 18 LGA from the FAAC account and there is no way my LGA would not have gotten up to 2b for just last year but when I traveled to my town, which is the headquarter our LGA, there was nothing to write home about. To my surprise, when he want to buy his car, he bought a Benz and I reminded him and he just say my brother make innoson car dey one lane. I give kudos to innoson for his breakthrough like other assembly car plant we also have too. If he his not getting high patronage, I think his people are not good ambassador to him. Imagine that my friend have bought inosson car then in my our area in Benin, some person after sometime may buy, because they will want to study the durability, efficiency of the car they see. I noticed in Nigeria for many years now, the northerners patronizes business interest of their own firstly before others and that is the way. In Nnewi I can bodly say 70 percent of car owners there don't use inosson vehicles. Note I am not saying his product are bad. I entered his coaster bus in asaba around 2014 and I was marvelled and I will rate it over the comrade buses in my state, Edo state that was produced by deawoo in Brazil. Imagine one of the igbo transporter in Benin uses one before, don't you think the state government may even consider it first. To me, inosson has done well, let his people be his ambassador outside the zone and patronizes him there too.

Auto business cannot be government regulated like businesses that depend on natural resources such as cement and refinery. Dangote failed in tomatoes and was thoroughly beaten by Erisco, he has failed in this truck assembly before and was beaten by GU Okeke. The new expanded innoson truck assembly plant is almost complete in Nnewi. This a business that can't have government backing
who is erisco, is he not the one that has been crying about observation a girl made. His product is not the best in the sector in Nigeria. Gino and others are far better. In Ajah here, GU Okeke has one of the worst motor park. We have God is good, Iyare, peace mass, Agofure and others are far better. How can you compare ant with elephant. The fear is that any business Dangote lay his hand on is very massive and has a nationwide spread. He left the tomato business because he didn't get the desire quality he want that will be better than Gino who is the best not erisco which has low quality.can you compare Gino with erisco. Did Honeywell group own by a Yoruba complain about dangote spaghetti. He simply did his homework and today he still has the best and the most sort spaghetti in the country. You people always fear competition. That is why you always cry when people are doing same thing, while you will not see other tribe wailing. Can you compare the shackman truck assemble by Okeke and sino truck by dangote that is everywhere in the country.

Dangote: I have Paid $2.4 Billion of $5.5 Billion Borrowed to Build Refinery, Eyes Steel Production

•Lauds Afreximbank, Access Bank, AFC for support, argues foreign banks not interested in African devt

•Discloses own refinery to serve as Nigeria’s strategic reserve

I salute him, his a goal getter, most billionaires in Nigeria benefited from government, either federal or state, while others from their politicians friends who they front for. Dangote has used us own for the benefit of African, by investing heavily in the continent. He is the biggest employee after Nigeria government. He said is next point is the steel sector and nobody is actually developing that now, but when he starts and result start showing, you will see many gullible Nigerians saying he monopolies everywhere. One thing I like about him, is his boldness, tenacity to deer new challenges. When he succeed which is definitely, they will start crying but nobody has been bold to develop that very import sector. Oil licences were given to over 20 Nigerians in the past but they prefer to take crude from the country and refined outsides. Dangote is outstanding and God will continue to keep him alive in good health.

That's why I always enjoin Yorubas on here to focus on improving their lives than to wallow in argument with these people, the trolls. It's stupid to bask in stupidity with whom you're bigger than.

You would think there are no bigger amusement centres than Landmark in lagos, since it has the loudest noise. In fact, the emotive wife of Moghalu, who could leave Lagos all her life, had the temerity to be part of the calumny against the state. It took Dave Umahi trashing the situation before they calm down.

Their tactics–victimhood, gaslighting, intimidation, and the likes–are so easy to see, I wonder why people entertain them. which tribalism have you ever experienced in Lagos? If you don't indulge in your victim mentality, you won't be happy a day.
I wonder, is not the best. Let them Google and see more beautiful beaches. They hype to much. Just look at what Ashimolowo is doing there with 6b and some fools who don't even know landmark beach was supporting the owner, who was telling lies that his beach worth 300b when converted to naira. With what is been develp now, I don't think landmark beach worth 200m honestly. It just to whip tribal sentiment. they are still bitter the religious bigot warlord lost the presidential election last year. Yorubas have more investment in Lagos than any other tribe. Let them Google all the investment in all sector and check the owners. There is difference between a trader and a manufacturer.
