It's not about vote, my state Edo used to be the hotbed of human trafficking but the revered royal majesty the Oba of Benin declare war on the traffickers and also Obaseki enact law for prison sentences. In your honest submission, did Obi win any zone in the north and south west. If he didn't win, how did he now win the last election. The south west governors are the most effective region. After their meetings they implement their decisions. I don't know what our south south governors are doing. The only news from them was to ban open grazing which was laudable because of the menace the herdsmen cause on the road but my governor Obaseki still betrayed the decision they collectively took. They only gather recently to support the president on the coastal road project and pleaded with Mr President to begins also from the calabar section. Mayaki’s rejection comes barely 24 hours after the vice chairman of the APC in Edo State, Francis Inegbeniki, resigned his membership of the party.


Inegbeniki’s resignation was contained in a letter dated June 8, 2024, addressed to the ward chairman of Opoji, Esan Central Local Government,

Inegbeniki said that some recent developments in the party in his local government area and state conflict with his principles and values.

He noted that this has led him to do a serious evaluation of his political future in the state and decide on the way forward.

I really appreciate the north. Agriculture was the mainstay of Nigeria economy until discovering of oil. Still agriculture is still leading. Over the years if successive government and even state government from Southern Nigeria has taken agriculture serious, Nigeria could have been feeding some part of the world now. They have been contributing to the economy and yet some people will be saying they don't contribute nothing. Can we survive without food.
