CrimeRe: Two Fulani Men Arrested In Oyo For Possession Of Large Sums Of Money (Video) by keeper303: 10:28am On Jun 05
Obaofaba:
This is not the best way to go about this.

Even if the guy is a terrorist, he will win them with this crude approach and might demand compensation for damages.

Which law prohibit people from owning cash less than 5 million?

But because he's a Fulani man we want to twist the law.
How do you know the amount is less than 5 million. The report states "huge sums of money " but you have concluded it is less. Maybe you should be invited the police to throw more light 🤔

PoliticsRe: Gbagyi People Celebrate The Election Of Christopher Zakka Maikalangu (Videos) by keeper303: 10:14am On Feb 23
You are Very correct in your history of Abuja. The only little addition is that political permutations by Shagari administration to win the election derailed the planned movement of "indigenes " out of FCT to newly created areas they were supposed to be relocated to.
For example, Gbagi indigenes who were resident in Karu, Nyanya, Wuse in the FCT, after collecting compensation were supposed to relocate to New Karu and New Nyanya in Nasarawa State and New Wuse in Kaduna State. After collecting compensation and realising the government did not demolish their old abode, stayed put. Some of the families divided themselves, while some stayed behind, others relocated and started selling the allocated lands in the new locations.
Political permutations scuttled the relocation programme and we are back with the Lagos indigeneship the problem the Fct was created to correct. Now we are saddled with the problem of Abuja indigeneship. The government should have bulldozed the whole place in FCT and relocated them in their new home.

Did U check polarity before connecting the battery to the inverter?,
I have 2 ups connected to my one battery at same time and it works well,
Please I would want others that have used the battery to drop their reviews,
Like I have said on my previous post, no be y papa get the battery company,
I bought and tested and it was ok , so I spread the news
In response to your 2 last sentences, I bought the battery because of your review. When I bought it, I promised I will also do a review. I have done part of my review by stating that 2 of my inverter got burnt. The second leg of my review will be to test how many hours the battery will last after fully charged while using 32inches TV, a table fan and charging of phones. I won't gain anything by demarketing the company.

Get a 12V 650va maxtron or blue gate ups or 1200va and test,
I am using ming with a 650va blue gate ups without any issue
See, i don't need an elaborate configuration and bulky setup. All I use the battery and inverter for is just to watch TV, charge phones and a small table fan for about 5hours between 6-10 pm in the sitting room. When I am about to retire for the night I have another battery and Inverter I use to power my rechargeable fan for the night in my room.

@keeper303

The above Inverters are cheap msw Inverters.
Your experience has nothing to do with the battery. Try get cash and buy regular psw Inverter from Valto or Iinnov.

Your experience is an odd one but be rest assured that it has no link to your battery.

I know you are pained by the burnt Inverter but try get sth different from the above. Pele
I also have the 3000 Watts inverter from linnov which I use in my village. I have bought another sachet inverter to replace the damaged one which I am still using with the battery. I am still observing the holding hours of the battery when fully charged. You never can tell, it may be a factory fault.

Sorry on your experience, but a quick tip for DIY persons, when connecting a battery to your inverter, please always use a pre-charge resistor, this helps to fill ur capacitors with energy and avoid large in-rush current. The in-rush current is responsible for the huge spark you get when your inverter cable touches the battery terminal, note that most capacitors in these cheap inverter as sub par and inferior, so be careful how you use them.
NB: Lithium batteries generally are capable of high amps charge and discharge unlike regular lead acid.

Once again sorry about your spoilt equipment but if you adhere to the above you should be fine going forward as those inverters are low budget versions and thus very sensitive.

If you budget allows you, pls change the 1000w modified sine wave inverter and stick only to pure sinewave versions, your equipments will thank you for it.
Thank you for your soothing words. I think the problem arose from power surge of the battery which caused the damage. Please what is pre-charge resistor and how do I get one?

Hope U all know batteries ca be return and changed if bad, call the lady and tell her Ur experience, these things no hard, I think it's weeks or a month of usage, not really sure, U can verify from her,
I already told her my experience and she replied that it was the first time she is receiving such complaint. I have been able to salvage the blue inverter and it is still working with the battery. The other test I am yet to carry out is the holding capacity of the battery. I intend to charge the battery fully, put on my small load and see how many hours it will take b4 it goes off.
I am very sure I did not make any mistake while connecting the inverter to the battery. You know there are 2 cables coloured red and black and the battery also carries red and black marks so I fixed them correctly.
Science/TechnologyRe: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by keeper303: 5:09am On Feb 11
Pictures of the 2 inverters are attached. The blue one was the one I first used. When it got damaged I bought the second one.

There's something wrong somewhere either with Ur connection, inverter or battery, and yes I added battery cos U might have gotten a bad one , I don't know, but U said U are still testing the load, which means the battery is still good ,
Now, tell us the inverter U used that got burnt , name model, tell us how any ampof battery U bought and the load that was connected to it.

How's the battery holding up? Any cons?

Chief, did you get the battery? What's ur experience like?
I am still observing it but from the little time I have used the battery, it does not last long after recharge.
The first time I used it, 2 of my sachet inverters got burnt. When I connected the inverter to the battery, I just heard "pau". Before I could quickly detach the inverter from the battery, I heard the second "pau" and smoke bellowed from the inverter.
The second inverter I bought and fixed just did "pau" once and went off completely. I took the inverter back to my 'ina' friend I bought it from and he laughingly told me " e don burn be that" without any pity.
As for the holding capacity of the battery, I want to charge it fully and time how many hours it will take to power my 32' telly, decoder, a small table fan and charging of phones before I can conclude.

One thing is for government to make laws and policies; another thing is the implementation of the policies. There are several impressive laws in Lagos which are not properly implemented. Government really needs to work on this.
See rent defaulters hailing the law. Most times it is Bad tenants who owe rent and refuse to pay that causes these landlords to undertake these underhand measures grin grin grin
