Your guess is as good as mine he will spend the next month in the house explaining how tax payers should not have access to his meetings. The 21 year old white boy that killed about 12 people including the pastor at a church in south Carolina. According to my brother-in-law who lives in Texas said the boy was given the gun as a birthday present from his dad;he also spared the live of the last person in that church which happens to be a woman and he told her that,"I'm not gonna shoot you because I want you to tell the police what you saw. We learnt this guy sat in church,listened to the sermon for one hour,after that,stood up and started shouting,"you black people,you came to our country,took our jobs,our properties and our social life" he now opened fire. Depression has driven a lot of young people especially in the western world into taking the life of their loved ones. it's baffling.

When did she get her Visa? Was she pregnant during the interview?

She should do some research, get a Dr, Hospital and the total cost involved before she leaves Naija. She should send an email to the Embassy informing them of her birthing intentions and stating she can foot her bills without recourse to Government funds.

Let her travel, armed the Dr/Hospital's email correspondence, the cost breakdown of birthing with the hospital/Dr and other associated costs like epidural, Paediatrician, Aneasthesiologist etc, the email from the embassy giving her a go ahead and enough cash to cover all her expected expenditure and miscellaneous.

friend: I was denied of my US visa today with my husband and son.
In 2011 I went for interview as single but was 4months plus pregnant, but I told the VO that I was not pregnant.
Today, he calculated my son's date of birth and compare with the last time I came for interview. I tried to convinced her dat I did not know I was pregnant.
Please, what do I do? House, help your sister with suggestions on how to correct this.

balotelli: For those planning to Go on Vacation I think there is a Deny Rampage going on at the US embassy. Both Lagos and Abuja. Ill advise one waits till Next year ,I am only saying this Because lotta of my Pals and me was denied Visa but the few issued was for those going for training , Medical issues and even slim chances for conference. The V O was like why will u go for vacation december when there is nothing to see just snow everywhere and at times one has to stay Indoor all day Can't go to beaches.

tzetzefly: You say a medium scale business is what you control, this must mean you have more than 500 people in your payroll?

The documents you need are :

* Your passports
* Your tax docs
* Your 2x2 photographs 2 each
* Company docs (showing directors)
* Paid IV letter for the conference inviting you and your family
* Accomodation (Make sure you can get a refund if your visa isnt granted)

Do not buy air ticket until your visa is approved.

This is one of a very few questions you need to sort out for now.

Besides, you do not need to pay any money for flight reservation before your visa is granted. Infact, you dont need to bring flight itinerary for the visa interview.

And neither do you need any form of document arrangement. There is no particular order for arranging your documents. The questions the VO will ask you, are based on the information you filled on your DS-160. Endeavour to fill what you can defend and remember....

Amefrica: Unfortunately, this thread is about Student VISA. Ur chances are high due to ur travelling experience..

Just prove that you can afford the trip, come back home. I think you should be Ok.

tzetzefly: Being a small scale businessman will make your visa approval a daunting task for yourself alone, not to mention your family together. You will be suspected by the CO of an intention to migrate.

Questions like this will surface:

1. What kind of business are you into?
2. How many persons are under your employ?
3. What your monthly or yearly turnover is?
4. Have you travelled before on same related trip?
5. Where did you travel to?
6. Have you travelled on tourism to any developed economies in Europe, North America or any others, with the same economic standard as the U.S. And how long did you stay? (The VO will judge your application from this angle and can approve your visa as well, due to your past trips).
7. Did your family travel with you on at least one of such trips?

The VO will be asking him/herself, does your business serve as a very good tie to come back home to?

These are questions the CO will naturally ask you to know if you're worth the visa or not.
