You claim Art/Commercial practitioners are the ones solving Nigeria's problems? If you have been solving the economic problems since independence, and up till now, we are still in this bad economic state, that means you have failed. You have really failed. Nigeria's economic situation is very bad even though we have well trained professionals in the art/commercial fields. As for us scientists, we need material resources in order to perform. I am a scientist and I am very proud of the skills i have. Our problem in the science field is neglect. The government has not created a well enabling environment where we can perform effectively. Developed countries are developed majorly because of their scientific capabilities and not because of art/commercial capabilities. Their governments pump money into scientific research to encourage novel inventions. Art/commercial professionals only need to think in order to contribute. Availability of material resources are not compulsory for you to perform. But you have been thinking for the past 50 years i.e half a century, yet Nigeria's economic situation is still in this abject state. Please you need to think more more and more and more and more,

Art/commercial is very easy. Some years ago, medical students were made to register for a sociology course in a university in the northern part of Nigeria so as to improve their relationship with their patients. Do you know that almost all the medical students had "grade A" in the course because it was far too easy for them.

I think you should change your research topic. You cannot get much materials online on that topic

Some people have been asking me how to go about gaining admission into sweden universities. studying in Sweden is a nice decision to make? Facilities are state-of-the art and the standard is superb. In fact in most Universities there, u'll be allowed to make prints, copies, fax and scan free. Government pays for the expenses. During exhibitions, you can get enough writing materials to take you for your entire study period. You can pick books free- books that would be in reserve section in Nigerian Universities.

Another good thing is that residence permit decisions are made in Sweden (Linköping) and not in Abuja Nobody can influence the decision, Once you merit it, you get it. The only problem is that you will take care of your accommodation and feeding. Jobs are scarce, but with effort, you will secure something.

There are two ways of applying, depending on whichever method u choose to use. The first method is to visit this website.

You will see a list of all the schools in sweden. click on the school u want. The page will open but most likely it will be in swedish language. Check the top of the page and look for the word "English". Click on it and the text on the screen will be converted to English. Browse through the website to look for the course u are interested in. Click on "Apply now" and follow the procedure to the end.
         
  The second method is to visit this website:

click on "create a user account". you'll be taken to another page where you'll be asked to fill out your email address and password. write down the password u choose because u'll soon need it. make sure the password u provide is not less than 6 digits and also not more than 12 digits. Also make sure that the password u provide contains both numbers and alphabets. Click on "NEXT" and u'll be taken to another page where u can enter your personal data. Fill it and click next. untill you are taken to a place where u can login. login with your password and email address. U are now ready to start the application process. U undergo basket application. What i mean is that, each application you make to a school will be transfered into a basket. U can apply to a maximum of 8 schools. By this time, your basket will be full. u'll be given an application number which u  should write down. U'll be provided with the address to which u have to post your credentials. U can then logout Make sure u don't forget your email and password because u will be needing it from time to time to check the status of your application.
        Now package your credentials. u'll need photocopy of your o'level certificate, waec scratch card, your university certificate, and your transcript. Some schools require toefle but some of these schools still accept waec o'level in place. Write your application number on each of the document. Take all these to the court and get them certified. Post your certified credentials to the address provided to u during the application. Now go to your former school where u graduated and tell them to forward a copy of your transcript to the same address to which u posted your credentials, instruct them to write your application number on the document they are forwarding to sweden.
       Leave the rest in God's hands and continue to pray. Login to the website with your password from time to time to check the status of your application. U can also ammend your application by changing your desired course. Immediately your package arrives sweden, it will reflect in your account that your package has arrived. Make sure your school sends your transcript else u wont be offered admission. There have been so many application with fake credentials recently, so they need a copy sent directly from your school. Pleas don't send fake result. it will only daunt the chances of your younger brothers and sisters in the future. Admission is a little tight for Nigerians. Out of every 10 people that apply, 3 may be taken. don't pay anybody, admission and processing is free.
       Note that application to schools has closed for now. It will reopen early december and will close january ending or early february next year depending on your choice of school. I'm in India and i'm so pissed off by the large disparity between nigerian girls and indian girls. Guys in Nigeria, we are lucky that God gave us this breed of ladies rather than indian ladies. well concerning the compiler u talked about,its not a difficult thing. U'll need good programming skills in machine codes.
Thats the only way u can make the compiler fast enough to handle complex tasks. U use the machine codes to generate your instruction set. If u dont do that, the compiler will not be able to match up with existing compilers when it comes to real time systems - for example, multimedia programming. U'll need to develop kernel files (dynamic link libraries) which will serve as intermediary between ur high level language and the computer operating system. This will be very useful if ur compiler is to be used for hardware control or if you'll need to use any of the computer port like USB port, parallel port or any of the computer resources such as diskette drive, pendrive, or even if u need to write data on the hard drive. This is because high level languages operate at permission level 3. Kernel programs operate at permission level 1. With windows 98 and below, u may have little problem. But Windows XP and above were designed in such a way as to prevent or resolve instruction conflict. U can use c language to develop the kernel files. Japan is leading the world when it comes to building robots. It's not as difficult as u may think. I'v done different aspects of it in the past and i know putting all the bits together would result in a robot that u can send on errands.
First, u need image sensors. For this, i used webcams. The webcams would sense objects by reading the pixels present in each frame of video stream. 30 frames can be captured every second by most webcams around. Next, we get electric rotors (servo motor or stepper motor is more prefered because of their property of precise positioning). Next we get microcontroller which are programmable chips. This will be the brain of the robot. All it does is to activate and deactivate connected modules by sending bits of 1s and 0s based on the input it receives. Several rechargeable batteries connected in series will serve as the power source. The one i did was a computer controlled one. I did not use any chip. The computer system served as its brain. Control signals were sent from the computer parallel port to the motors which turns the electric motor and causes the robot to move around. Two webcams were used. The one i did was a miniature one, but i have the dreams of building something almost the size of a human being. Voice recognition modules will be used in analysing the sound received. I'm currently developing a lip reader software. It works by capturing still images of the mouth when words are pronounced. It's a new technology which by the time i'm through will yield a major breakthrough in the world of robots. Is there anybody there in the house who is willing to join me in realising this dream?
