Please i applied for MSC Data science in ulster university for over 2 months now and I am yet to get a response regarding my Admission rather they keep requesting for re upload of document formally uploaded

Please who else is experiencing same from ulster university

Please how will I know..when my processed passport is ready for collection at VFS...I was sent a correspondence letter on my online account since Sept 21...but I am yet to receive any mail from VFS stating my passport is ready for collection

You don't need anything from your former company. Your present company should write a letter(intro letter) stating you are doing your internship with them and state if you are being paid or not.

Forget about the HND and stick to the internship programme, let the company also write a letter that you are an intern with them and you don't get paid for it(it is not all jobs that people get paid for as there voluntary jobs even in Canada).
The decision at the end of the day is still yours to make, but I have done what a concern fellow should do. Best of luck

Have you obtained admission for a Bsc in Civil Engr in a Canadian institution?

If you have, IMO your major concern should be how you plan to convince the V.O that A bsc in civil is what you need at this point in your life, and not by chance. During you OND did you take civil courses like Strength of material, structural analysis, structural design, foundation engineering, mechanics of materials, and the likes? Or are you exposed to interpreting Reinforcement bar blueprints to artisans, bending schedules, casting of reinforced concrete etc

If you are and you can proof this and more with any form of documentations you may stand a good chance in convincing the V.O of your intentions to study a B.sc civil.

About whether you should declare you enrollment in your HND or not. IMO, if you declare it, what's to stop you from also abandoning the civil engr. Program your going for.? You need to think like the V.O

I worked part time as an office assistance while I attended to classes for my OND program in building tech

I finished officially in 2016..and continued with the law firm job until late late year that I got back with my engr on site where I did my siwes .....currently I get to visit site every Saturdays and public holidays while I an currently running my HND program which just started 2 months ago ...I am going for BSC civil engineering

Now my question is do I state that I am fully on site as an internship student who is not being paid any salary but just stipends to take care of his expenses ..or tell them I am still in sch but visit site weekly

Whoa! Is there o. Just typed the first word only. But the funny thing is the last time i searched for that name on their website, i typed it in full and it came out, so i ws doing the same tyn yesterday. Now that ive seen it, i noticed the changed the limited to ltd, i guess that is y my search was not being recognised.

I really appreciate boss......yes I know it is suppose..Dad had 2 set of letter headed papers..that was done in bulk years ago..so he mistakenly gave me d wrong one from his room to print his sponsorship letter with... I just checked CAC and his company is dear..beside we submitted recent receipts and invoices alongside d application ND dey all carried address ND numbers...How do I address this in my new application

Every official business letter headed paper bears: the address of the business, the contact details, the business name, and the nature of the business(what the business specializes in). How come yours does not posses this characteristics? Well, this can also be a problem too.
As previously said, the main problem here was that CIC had an integrated search with your dad's business name on CAC website and couldn't find it. Please try running a check with your dad's business name on CAC website :www.cac.gov.ng

Go to www.cac.gov.ng type your dad's company name in the public search box and see if is there

I just checked the cac public search for my own father's business name and is not there anymore. OMG! as of last two weeks it was there. I just noticed the cac website wawly updated

Yes the Canadian visa officers run through CAC website to know if the presented company is truly a genuine and a registered one under CAC. They might have searched for your dads company name and were unable to find it. That was why the issue was raised on your GCMS File.

Kindly, use the link below to check, if your dad business name appears on the offical CAC website: simply input the business name and it will pop up.

Why open a new account when you already have one? Does she really want to sponsor you or you are using her cos she has lots of cash in her account? cos the fixed account thing makes me feel the only way she will transfer the money to you is when you fix it(to avoid stories that touch).
Well, you can open a new account but I feel since you have a old account it will serve well. She needs to trust you with the money, except is she just want to act as your sponsor on paper and not paying anything when its time.

Must she transfer money to my personal account what if I open a new fixed Nigerian account in my name for the money to be transferred

She needs to show proof of business(anyone can say he knows Dangote or Bill gate in his sop), she needs to prove it that she owns a functional business cos that will help explain the large sum of money in her account.
Also, I will advise she transfer the pledged money into your personal account and state it in her letter of support that she has transferred the money(to show commitment), you will also state same in your sop.
Let her get her tax clearance, office rent(receipt)...... anything that will prove she is the owner of the business.

She has no cac but she is a recognized dangote distributor big tyme..and has meaningful amount in her bank acct...already my parents have paid half tuition fee...while she will take care of my welfare.. Tell the company to write a letter to cic stating you doing your internship with them without pay. Since you are not yet through with the HND I will advise you don't include it, just tell them you are doing your IT.

No I am not being paid its only a Saturday thing ....can I still include d HND....or can I go ahead and put that I am fully on site but as intern student who is actually not paid but is given allowance pet day for T.Fair..beside normally some companies dont pay IT

If you follow my advise and get a new acceptance letter (BSc computer Science) that is directly relevant to your previous studies/job role as a computer operator the better for you.
I don't know how to address your study gaps for you, as you should know what you've been doing all this while. As I said previously, if SAT will be the best option to cover your study gaps fine. But I don't see reasons saying you're preparing for SAT exams for 12 months.

Ask your self does SAT take one year to be completed? Applicants prepare for their SAT exams within a month and come out with good grades. Why is yours taking 12 months to be completed? If you believe that the SAT has alot to do with your application, you can go ahead. But I don't see reasons with it since school/embassy don't require it. Its left for you, if you decide to use it as a way to address your study gaps. Fine!!!!

Also, there is no need adding your HND admission, as the Visa officer will question why you never wanted to finish up your studies here in Nigeria and go for a higher studies in Canada (PGD) in future. So be silent about it.[/quote]

Guys in my admission letter( acceptance letter). from Manitoba university undergraduate . the school only wrote the tuition fee for one year they did not write fees for room and board


In my study permit form I have already submitted ,under room and board section I did not put any money under room and board because it wasn't in my admission letter . but under funds available for stay I put slightly above the money required by CIC (10k and above). Did i make a mistake?

Even on your GCMS Note it won't be stated whether you used an agent or not. The gcms notes will only carry the details regarding your previous refused application and the factual reason for your visa refusal.
It might be that your agent did not include your email on your application form, that's why you did not receive any correspondence from the embassy or maybe he filled the representative form.
Bro! White lady or no white lady, if your agent did not disclose that he was an agent on your previous app or failed to fill the representative form, I don't know how you will defend this.
Call your agent and confirm from him! It's your right and he should oblige to it.
