SO SADDENING… How can the caregivers be so careless that they didn’t notice the signs and symptoms on the baby? I am very sure the baby would have been showing some signs before the death occurred. Some people started blaming the woman for putting a little baby in the CRÈCHE But what would she do? THE ECONOMY IS NOT SMILING! DOLLAR ON THE RISE! INFLATION EVERYWHERE!!! She has to work. BUT DEAR WOMAN… You don’t have to put your life, children and entire family at risk because of Career and Money Then you ask me. So how do I take care of my children If I don’t work? I cant depend solely on my husband’s salary. I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU Do you know there are Legit things you could do now that will earn you BIG MONEY More Money than that your salary that is making you leave home 5.30am in the morning and arriving 8pm at night. IS IT A CRIME TO HAVE A DEGREE Please I need answers. Am in tears right now as I write this. Just few hours back, I was at an interview. The interviewer made a sour statement: “Kemi , it’s high time you get focused with your career. You have two degrees in Biochemistry and you are doing Marketing” To hell with biochemistry, I said in my mind calmly. But is it a crime to discover what one wants to do after 2 degrees? I wonder Anyways, In this age and dispensation. It’s beyond your degrees. Get a degree, it’s fine But beyond that , get a skill. Skill set is what is needed in today's boardroom Well. Am only encouraged and motivated by that sour statement. I won’t stop writing Because God has blessed my pen I will keep pressing on Kemi Oladeji #contentwriting #copywriting #digitalmarketer |
SCHOOL IS NOT A SCAM BUT… A popular artist sang in his song; SCHOOL IS SCAM I then begin to ponder and wonder… Is school really a scam? Statistics has it that a large number of graduates with good grades are jobless. Records also reveals that most people making it big financially are either school-dropouts or graduates with poor grades. THIS ALMOST PROVE THAT SCHOOL IS A SCAM Dear Friend, Going to school (I mean education) is important. Education helps train your mind. It helps improve your way of thinking and doing things. But beyond that… SCHOOL –AFTER- SCHOOL You need to attend school-after-school. If you don’t, THEN SCHOOL BECOMES A SCAM TO YOU WHAT IS SCHOOL-AFTER-SCHOOL? This involves self-discovery. Knowing what you are passionate about. And then going to get more training in the area of your passion. School-after—school also means UNDERSTANDING WHAT WORKS OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL WALLS. For example, knowing what SKILLS ARE IN HOT DEMAND AND HIGHLY PROFITABLE. AND OF COURSE, GOING AHEAD TO ACQUIRE SUCH SKILLS! THAT IS SCHOOL-AFTER-SCHOOL DEFINED! And you know what, You don’t have to wait till graduation before thinking: school-after-school You can start while in school, At your leisure time, look for RELEVANT SKILLS TO ACQUIRE My friend, If you do this , THEN GOING TO SCHOOL WILL REALLY BE WORTH THE WHILE You would have become an asset before graduation. In fact you will become HOT CAKE to employers of labour. SCHOOL IS NOT SCAM BUT… REFUSAL TO RE-SCHOOL YOURSELF IS WHAT CAN MAKE SCHOOL A SCAM IN YOUR CASE I rest my case. Kemi Oladeji

*Keep staying there…* Few days back, I had an important engagement to attend. You know as a Marketer, a good and decent appearance is part of your working tool. So I quickly dashed to my hairdresser to fix my hair. *But alas!* She was no where to be found. I called her number, it was not reachable. Her number later went through but she told me she won’t be available until late in the evening. *Aaaargh!* I was alarmed. What do I do now? was the question running through my mind? She is my only trusted hairdresser. Well, I summoned up courage and decided to look for another hairdresser. I got one and in few hours time my hair was made. **Now…* *2 BIG LESSONS** 1) Always have at least 2 or 3 alternative plans/options for whatever you do. *Now* Let me tell you a little about the 2nd hairdresser that eventually fixed my hair. I have always known her to be a consistent hairdresser. Most times I pass through her shop, she is there. I guess this consistency is the major reason for her numerous customers. *And you know…* When my hairdresser turned me down, she was the first person that crossed my mind that I should try out as an alternative. *2) The second big* *lesson is Consistency.** Whatever business you are into, be consistent, keep staying there. Don’t give up. Soon, your own customers will locate you. *N.B I must confess that my original hairdresser makes better hairdo than the alternative hairdresser, but she has failed the test of consistency.* It is not enough to be good at your work, you must be consistent and trustworthy too. **I hope you got* *some value from* *this?* * I won’t stop writing because God has blessed my pen. 3 LESSONS FROM THE GOAT* *Goat? What hell of lesson would I learn from that stubborn and stupid animal?* *_I know these are the questions running through your mind now.*_ If only you will read this to the end, you would have learnt *3 major business secrets* from the life of a GOAT. The 3rd point is the most critical *Lesson1: A goat is a risk-taker.* You will see a goat moving towards a bowl of cassava even though the owner is sitting close by with a big stick. The goat wouldn’t mind. Guess what’s on the mind of the goat. “ I know I might get hit by this stick but at least, I would have picked up some sticks of cassava, I will shake the pain after. *Lesson 2: A goat's diet is balanced.* Have you ever seen a sick goat? No? Have you noticed at times, the goat eating some leaves at times? Why? I don’t know But I believe the goat's diet strongly contribute to it’s strength, vigour and even it’s courage. *Just like the goat, you must know the tools/materials/stuffs/trainings you need for you to be in that career/business.* After discovering it, then go for it. Don’t shy away Don’t give excuse. *Lesson 3: A goat is persistent, it never gives up.* No matter how many times you drive the goat away from that bowl of cassava, it will keep coming back. Even if you carry the cassava away from it’s sight eventually, it will still hang around, hoping.. For you to succeed in business/career, you must be persistent. Stay there until it works Only be sure it is the right thing you are doing. *Now you see that the goat is not that bad afterall?* **Next time, you see a goat, please salute!* * Don’t stop pressing for more. FEB 14: HOW I NARROWLY ESCAPED FOOD POISONING ...true story of a young and adventurous teenage girl. Lara was a 16 year old brilliant girl. She had excellent grades in her WAEC. Unfortunately, she didn't make JAMB despite several attempts. She decided to opt for IJMB(A-Level) course so she could gain entry into the university. Lara really studied hard for her A-levels. *AND THEN...* It was Feb 14. Most girls were looking towards receiving gifts from their lovers and secret admirers. Though Lara wasn't in any relationship , she was also expecting gift from whoever cares. Lara waited, waited and waited but in vain.No gift showed up. In the night, she stepped out to the reading room to read, as it's her custom every night. *THEN FINALLY...* A gift showed up! It was from one of her colleagues. She received the gift from the bearer ( a third party) and then hurried to her room to check the gift. *ALAS!* The box contained a small cake. She was so excited that she started eating the cake. She finished it all including the icing on the cake! *THEN TROUBLE STARTED...* The next morning she started stooling. The stooling continued for the next 3days before she recovered! *SO...* Dear girl, you are priceless and highly valued! Don't be like Lara. Don't be greedy this season. Not all gifts are acceptable or should be used. Some are baits. What is free is not actually free. Its either someone paid for it , or some hidden agenda attached to it. Sex is not equal to love. Keep yourself pure. Stay away from sex until you are married. Enjoy your day. Oladeji Kemi |
