Bro, sorry for ur troubles. First, start by cleaning ur engine. Dirt on the engine and the radiator causes overheating. Bring out the radiator and do a proper steam cleaning of the radiator. Get a 65 degrees or less thermostat. Once the temperature raises to 65 degrees, the thermostat opens and the water pump sends water from the radiator to cool ur engine down. Check ur water pump and if possible replace it. Also confirm that ur radiator fan is working effectively. Do all this and I don't see a reason why ur car engine should be overheating.

A Gov., who is supposedly the chief security officer of his state should never be talking like this. I am from that state and I am so ashamed of all this unnecessary drama. It is not a do or die thing. If he is so sure of himself, then let the people decide. If he is so confident, why are most of his appointees resigning and leaving him to join his opponent. That tells me one thing. He is not a good people manager.

Your brother should act like a man and do the right thing. He should call his wife to order. When a woman gets married, she is married into the man's family and not the other way round. In as much as u respect ur brother and his wife, she should show you some respect too. Be patient and talk to your brother again.
