Because you can avoid unnecessary mistakes by asking questions. Especially since
1) Most OS downloads are 1 GB+
2) Some folks here have downloaded the same OS.

Please those who have loaded the latest 10.3 leak on their STL-1 Z10. Are you experiencing any issues?

henry007: any leak(even 10.2.2) can make apps crash. best to manage your 4 active frames limit til its official , tested and trusted. I find android irritating when my open apps are many and I can't tell which has stopped running in the background. I like my browser running always, others can close. bb10 hub covers messaging so there's no need for keeping too many games or random apps open.

10.2.2 is not a leak. We'll see how it all pans out anyway.

dayosmallz: Blackberry stated earlier before the launch of the device that it would run 4 apps on the surface unlike the rest that will run 8 apps... they also stated that it will be able to run 8 apps on the surface when the 10.3 update is pushed. so y'all z3 users should just wait for 10.3 or just load a 10.3 leak to fix it

I know the 10.3 leaks on Z3 run 8 apps. But are you really sure that 10.3.1 when it comes will run 8 apps on Z3. Cos 10.3 will never ( official for Z3 or any other pre-Passport device. It has a 1.5GB RAM. And I know someone who uses the 10.3 leak on his Z3 and will always complain of apps crashing after when you have up to 6 apps open.

Before you blame the OS, try to get a good charger (stock preferably) maybe from a BB10 friend of yours and charge fully. See how it works, then if it's still faulty. Maybe the OS has issues.

henry007: either way, the .exe or .csi would still enter your pc so which ever is convenient for you. phone extraction is slower so best download .rar on phone and transfer to a pc to extract on a PC, if that's the method you want to use.

Welcome to BB10. Depends on what apps you like. Make sure you have the latest OS and Android apps work on your BB10 too. And by all means, stop being skeptical about using the STL 100-1, it's a good phone.

The OS is from BlackBerry servers so nothing is unsafe. But paranoia is feeding off you already. Take your normal route and update to 2977. If and when you feel like updating to 10.2.2, you can always do that.

Y'all must have heard that 10.3.1 will be coming with a dark theme hub. It has been confirmed for the Q10 and Z30. No word on the other devices. Hopefully it will be for all BB10 phones. Good news all the same.
