I wouldn't advice u go for a divorce. Sit ur wife down and still talk things over with her. From ur story, your wife loves and cares for ur progress but the pressure from her family she cannot handle. This is the time she needs you most, let her understand that her family is bent to tear her marriage apart. let her know that marriage is between u and her and every third party (the persons involved not withstanding) is an intruder. I HAVE SEEN A MAN THAT SWITCHED HIS PHONE OFF LIKE YOU DID AND HIS WIFE'S PHONE OFF AND REFUSED TO GIVE HIS FATHER AND BROTHERS IN-LAW HIS ADDRESS (REASON: he told his wife that whenever her father,mother,sisters or brothers are coming to their house, he has to be informed and given one or two weeks notice so he can prepare and budget for their coming). AND THAT DAY, THEY ONLY CALLED HIM WHEN THEY HAVE ENTERED TOWN SO HE HAD TO OFF HIS AND WIFE'S PHONES AND THE WIFE DID NOT EVEN DISOBEY HER HUSBAND BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHAT MARRIAGE IS ALL ABOUT.

Marriage is between husband and wife and not husband,wife and family members. Anything outside the two of u has to be discussed and decided by both of u. Not u (wife) and ur father,mother,sisters or brothers, same applies to the man (husband) also.

don't divorce her....tell her ur reasons while u wouldn't welcome any further embarrassment from her family and stick by it. But if she chooses to go with her family, let it come from her and not u.

I have always loved this man called OSHIOMOLE From EDO state come APC national chairman. My mentor in politics/leadership. I pray one day i have the privilege to work under you to tap from some of your leadership skills.

I pray one day God gives Nigeria the understanding to know the leadership skills He has deposited in@OSHIOMOLE@DONALD-DUKE@RIBADU so we can vote them in to pilot the affairs of this great country someday.

@OSHIOMOLE i greet u. Though, I was initially angry when i heard u were going for APC national chairman position instead of PRESIDENCY but, from ur body language and the victory u recorded in ur first assignment in EKITI state, i'm fully happy with u now. Keep the good work.

So since when did it become a crime to visit a night club? The police are supposed to provide security whether a night or day club. That is their job....to provide security day and night 24hrs of the day.

I think its high time we grow up in this country. Life is not only lived in the day time. If u live in Lagos or Abuja u will know what i'm saying.

Pls stop making CCNA R/S look like one big mountain that can not be overcome. Somebody can study for the exams for 2-3months and still come out with flying colors in the exam. Studying for certificate is different from learning to know the rudiments about switching.

This is preventable.
Before we blame let's critically examine this story.

1. They were out at Midnight, possibly returning from party or club, to celebrate in anticipation of POP.
2. If they stayed in doors and faced the service they were sent to do, may be it may not have happened
3. The policemen, officers empowered by Law stopped you, but you refused to obey the officers of the law. Are you guys criminals? Why didn't you stop?
4. Would this have happened in America? Yes it could have happened. Even unarmed blacks are shot by policeman, talk less of people who were stopped and refused to accede.
5. Was the officer that shit overzealous? Yes he was. But judging by the volatility of northern Nigeria today, they could have been mistook as criminals running from officers.

My conclusion.

If they stayed indoors and faced what they're sent to do, this could have been avoided
If they had stopped, this could also have been avoided.

The officer may go Scot free, on the basis of security situation in the country.

We need to be careful ourselves
