Bcoz a man is dirty, then he won't take his bath again abi? Not at all prayer is the only process that cleans a man who is dirty spiritually & refusing to pray simply means you're making urself more dirty the more. Reading a scripture in times like this help you take away the guilt as you stagger to stand up again.
