Yes, 14.5% for staff of specific organisations with low risk of default. What we practice is risk-based pricing.

With a multilateral arrangement between the FG, the banks and the car manufacturers (or country representatives), it is doable for 60 months repayment tenor. The largest percentage of the fund to deploy will be owned by FG while acquisition of the subject assets would have also eliminated many middlemen. A combination of this will drive down price and interest rate.
This is what all of you have been quoting me to say. Fantasies. How many banks are offering loans at 14.5% annually? You talk as if you live in a different country. NNPC isn't reporting any revenue this month. Over 80% of our revenue is going to service loans. Yet you're proposing a government-funded credit system. Are the credit systems in the U.S funded by government? No. Because they've fixed the basics. You don't have a revenue problem and start making revenue-focused policies.
But of course we can still borrow more and hand it over to Tinubu. He's such a good manager of resources, I hear. Especially with Alpha beta.

25%?
It's not that bad yet, commercial banks are still doing 17-19%.
Banks are giving high interests because MPR is still double digit.
If CBN reduces MPR,bank will reduce lending rates. Its not rocket science.
And yes, banks can give longterm credit if CBN also gives them long term credit facilities(mentioned this cos I saw where you talked about the impossibility of banks to give long term credit because of unstable naira).
Devaluation or not.
Afterall it's not their money.
Devaluation or not? Banks are businesses and have shareholders to satisfy. How would theuy gix the rate if the naira isn't stable?
Or are you suggesting the government fund personal loans, mortgages and others? When above 80%of Nigeria's revenue is going for debt servicing. Which money will government use to fix electricity, roads, and others? You guys should be realistic with your projections. You fell for buhari and here you are projecting the same unattainable talking points.

What you don't is surely bigger than you, loans/mortgage could be short or longer term while mortgages are mostly longer term.
A loan could last for as long as 15yrs while mortgages could span 30yrs depends on whats suitable for the loanee relative to personal income. Google is your friend educate yourself
Yea, and in 15 years the naira will be 3000/ dollar,
while servicing a fixed rate loan.

Did you even pass Mathematics in your WAEC or GCE?

Have you ever done any Accenture Assessment Test?
Do you even know Accenture?

Where I have worked?
At 21, I was a public health illustrator for John's Hopkins University's Population Communication Services (JHU/PCS) and at 25 I was a national Program Consultant for the UNICEF in Nigeria and later at 27 I worked for the Publicity Department of the Alhaji Bamanga Tukur's presidential campaign.

One thing I have noticed about many of the ignoramuses supporting Peter "Pandora" Obi is the intellectual ignorance in displaying their gullibility and stupidity.
Yet you and him don't know the basics of credit, inflation and lending. I pity those who hire you.

He just used that as an example. Someone earning 100k does not necessarily have to go fo a N3.5m car. In a multilateral arrangement involving banks and FG, workers can actually obtain car loans for 5 years (60 months) and mortgage loans for 20 years (240 months) on a single digit interest rate. I'm a banker and I currently enjoy this benefit. This is what obtains in UK, Canada and US.

The man is making sense. Despise the messenger but don't hate the message. Take emotion out of it.
Yea. It's easy to compare Nigeria that is suffering from massive currency devaluation to the U.S.

Interest rate in U.s and u.k is below 10%. Is your bank giving loans less than 25%? Think banker.

You definitely do not understand what you are saying. Credit economy is the big difference between the developed economy and the under developed countries. If we can have a functional credit system, it will solve a lot of problems.
That your obi production economy is the dumbest thing anyone can ever say. Obi is only deceiving you. Tell me why are manufacturing companies running out of Nigeria. Anybody can produce anything but you must produce at least possible cost. Otherwise, you will not be competitive in the market. So the problem is getting the right environment to produce so that you have the best of efficiencies and not because people do not want to produce. So if production is profitable lots of people will go into production otherwise, even if government try to force people, they will still not go into production. That is a major pillar of free market economy.
Read what you wrote slowly or show it to your friends to see how dumb you sound.

stop asking childish question, banks/lenders are still giving out loans as long as the loanee can bear the interest or service the loan, its greatly depends on the applicants

The credit system is just one of many Tinubu agendas, you are not in his mind so it lame to conclude credit system will be is number one agenda in office, at the primaries Tinubu said a lot of things that did not even include the credit system, so how do you know which is number one.

I don't like responding to you guys because all of you are dumb. You are comparing mortgages in the U.S where the dollar is stable to a naira that will can be 2k/dollar in 10 years time.

Which lender will give out a fixed loan rate with the naira so unstable.

How do people pay for these loans when their income isn't increasing.

If you are sincere. You'll know what Tinubu said is bull shit. You need to stabilise the economy before talking about a credit bureau.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu: Until We Have A Good Credit System, We Can't Conquer Corruption by Kennedyli: 3:12pm On Jul 02, 2022
Is this the best of Tinubu? Unfortunately he's saying gibberish even after all the editing.

How would someone earning 100k afford ro pay back a car loan of 3.5 million?

Even with a credit system. It will take 100% of his salary for over 2 years to pay for the car.

Which lender will agree to such a deal?

BTw Nigeria already has a credit system. Loan apps like Carbon and Branch use it.

The next president should focus on increasing local production to strengthen the naira.
So that car of 3.5 mil can go back to the 1.5 mil it was sold 7 years ago.

TINUBU HAS NOTHING TO OFFER.

I respectfully disagree with you sir.

Big and matured Pandoro fruit here in Agege is #600 but if you know how to price stuff well, you will get it for #400 last price. While the dried one is between #150 and #250.

As for the waybill, the pandoro fruit is just like a tuber of yarn and it is not more than 1k.

Thank you
Oga please what part of Agege will I find this? I'm not really conversant with that area.
Please just give me directions, I'm in egbeda.
