honestly speaking, uniben don't disclose that but once you have 55% and above as your aggregate, you would surely be admitted for pet eng. to be on the safer side 60+.

sikells: dis guy funny O...ain't gat a former matric. Number..just happened to be present during d last clearance n saw d ordeal.D students in life science will pass thru most of d stress,while med and pharmacy studentz will not pass thru much stress.

i got unizik through their pre science( westerns call it pre degree) and got u admission on uni ben through jamb ooooo... all thanks to God almighity... unizik resumes on d 6th of jan. uniben resumes on d 1st of april..... i dotn'

Ezegozie: I didn't pass Pre-science.
Though i got admision that same year in UNIZIK through Jamb to study the same course i put in pre-science.

266 is a very nice score and judging from my set in 2010, i think its enough to give you admision in Chem Engineering.

Maybe ur competitors (people that put Chem Engr) scored so fantastically.
More reason why you should consider to accept the admision in the place you have been given

So u can check urs.

i heard you say certainly gain admission to study chemical engr in unizik through pre-science, its like ur pre-science result is very good?

I also did pre-science in unizik, though I got admision through Jamb.

Eventhough i am a zikite, I will advise you to go for Petroleum Engineering instead of waiting for unizik admission that is not yet offered.
as i said pre-science admision list out, so you can check yours and know how "CERTAIN the CERTAIN will BE" .

First congrat on your admission but to tell you the bitter truth I will prefer you to choose PE and make sure you come out with good grade...have seen many chemical guys no job...their job market is small compare to PE,please just go for PE and make the best out of it you smile at the end of the tunnel,if you have money when you finish you can go directly to Texas for master and you will smile....last bullet pls stay away from girls concentrate and make me proud..one love....read,cram,and don't forget God makem1.1 or 2.1

I am a student and i have finished my pre science programme at unizik where i did well and would certainly gain admission to study chemical engineering at unizik through pre science... fortunately for me, i also agained admission in uniben to study petroleum engineering at uniben through JAMB...... Now am kinda confused on what to do either to accept the one at unizik or at uniben..,... please fellows advice me in what to choose and please give a very good reason why...... thanks.

enny234: this year is coming to an end already, there isn't going to be any new scholarship until next year, apart from some limited scholarships, what i mean is that, some may come out that is applicable for only certain indigenes, like OLUYOLE club busary for ibadan indigenes, CROSS-RIVER scholarship for indigenes, etc,this isn't certain though, but if there is, it will definitely be posted here on nairaland.
For January, many would be approaching, and u have to be sharp and fast, so they dont pass u by,examples are:
Bilateral Educational Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards for Undergraduate, Masters and PhD – Overseas,
Agbami Scholarship for 100 and 200 Level Undergraduate Nigeria Students
Agip Scholarships for Undergraduate Nigerian Students,
these are among the scholarships that come out in the first quarter of the year
