Just to correct @Nowenuse

During the Oromo(Galla) expansion from mid 16th to early 18th century, the Borena Oromos conquered the current Borena zone, Oromia region(Ethiopia) and some parts of northern Kenya. The real Oromos relatively are the Borena Oromos in southern Ethiopia and northern Kenya. Other Oromos are very much mixed and assimilated/Oromonized other people.

The Borena Oromos in northern Kenya are definitely Kenya Oromos. Even some Borena Oromos in southern Ethiopia consider themselves Kenya Oromo.

The only difference that Kenya differs with Nigeria is the level of corruption exposure. It is easily exposed in Kenya compared to Nigeria where when Kenyans are crying over a rail they feel was over priced at 3.2B, Nigeria did a far worse inferior rail at an exxagerated cost of 12B dollars 4 times the Kenyan one. The Kenyan opposition is more vibrant in talking about corruption unlike Nigeria where the looters and the opposition eat from the same plate.
