Anyone still having funds with Stanbic? I neva gather morale leave them despite their low rate. I have more than 46M there.
If you want to diversify, Risevest’s rates are great and there is an official announcement as to their SEC licensing status. Let me know if you’re interested.

Creditalerts:

As of late January 2025, the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not approved Risevest (Risevest Technologies Limited or Risevest Cooperative Multipurpose Society Limited) to operate in the Nigerian capital market.
SEC Warning (Jan 2025): The SEC issued a notice identifying Risevest as an unregistered entity and advised the public to refrain from engaging with it due to high fraud risks.
Risevest's Position: Risevest claims its Cooperative Society is registered under Lagos State laws and its Nigerian operations are supported by licensed partners like Meristem Trustees Limited and Chaka Technologies Limited.
Safety of Funds: The SEC has classified Risevest as an illegal operator, despite Risevest's assertions of compliance and safety
.

As far as I'm concerned any non sec approved is a ponzi scheme
I was hoping you would update us now that Risevest has been licensed by SEC. Risevest is fully license and they are not ponzi. Be honorable and do the needful update

If you are interested in working as a Crane Operator in Canada, you will be pleased to know that the job outlook for
your occupation in Canada is extremely positive.

Why your employment prospects in Canada are excellent:

There have been many reports on the shortage of workers qualified to operate the crane.
The crane industry is currently facing the challenge of developing qualified operators, and a shortage could
become a serious problem as current operators continue to retire.
Crane Operators are employed by the government, construction, industrial, mining, quarrying, cargo handling,
and railway companies and contractors. They may also be self-employed.

“No matter what your qualifications are, whether you’re an engineer, salesperson or marketer,
if you don’t have a foundation of skills, you will fail".
And you need the right skills whether soft or hard, because there are so many. The best formula is to focus on the universal qualities of learnability, ability, likability, and drive"
said Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic Chief Talent Scientist at ManpowerGroup.

Canadian employers are having an increasingly difficult time hiring the staff they need in today’s labour market.
Forty-one percent of Canadian employers report difficulty filling jobs, according to the ManpowerGroup 2018
Talent Shortage Survey.

At a time when organizations are facing the lowest unemployment in 40 years, most of the jobs where demand is
growing are mid-skilled roles that require post-secondary training, although not necessarily a full university degree.

Skilled trade workers (electricians, welders, machine operators, mechanics), sales representatives, drivers,
engineers, and technicians have consistently ranked among the top five hardest roles to fill in Canada for the past ten years.

It’s not getting any easier. One in four employers now says that filling skilled trades roles is harder this year than
it was last. ManpowerGroup found that more employers than ever are struggling to fill their open positions.
Globally, forty-five percent say they can’t find the skills they need (forty-one percent of Canadian employers
say this is their main hiring challenge).

More than half (58 per cent) of large organizations in Canada – those with 250+ employees – say they
are experiencing talent shortages this year.

While the labour shortage is resulting in a general lack of applicants for open positions, Canadian employers
also say that many of those people who do apply aren’t qualified. Darlene Minatel of ManpowerGroup Canada
explains: “Today’s job seekers don’t always have the skills employers need.” Nearly a quarter, 24 per cent,
of employers
in this country, say applicants lack the right skills, whether they be technical skills, cognitive, social,
emotional skills, or all of the above.

In the digital age, employment will not always depend on the completion of a formal education but will rely
heavily on job seekers’ willingness and ability to continually develop new skills. Even the oldest and
most ubiquitous jobs are being augmented to some degree by technology, calling for candidates who can keep up.

Ten most sought-after skilled workers in Canada right now

1.Skilled trades: electricians, welders, crane operators, mechanics, forklift operators

2.Sales representatives: B2B, B2C, contact center

3.Drivers: Commercial truck, delivery, construction, mass transit

4.Technicians: quality controllers, technical staff

5.Engineers: chemical, electrical, civil, mechanical

6.IT: cybersecurity experts, network administrators, technical support

7.Office support: administrative assistants, PAs, receptionists

8.Healthcare professionals: doctors, nurses, other non-nursing health professions

9.Professionals: project managers, lawyers, researchers

10.Teachers

Not just Canada but also, other developed countries are in want of the right people with the right skills to fill jobs.

“THE VIRGIN SKILLED LABOUR”

In our country today, a good university degree with very high grades is not a guarantee for paid employment.
Acquisition of technical skills has proven over the years to boost degree certificates before, during and after tertiary education leaving an opportunity to earn better income being self-employed, entrepreneurs, consultant etc. as against underpaid and unsatisfied employee experiences in the country.

However, there is a growing need, which most people are ignorant of, but offers mouthwatering opportunities such as job security, higher income earnings and privilege of working as certified personal overseas in offshore-onshore heavy industry, institutional and commercial (engineering) equipment handling and operations in the construction industry.

Also Construction industry in developed countries like China, Canada, USA, New Zealand etc. offers employment to a significant number of the masses which is also favorable to immigrants with skilled labor whether graduates or non-graduates.

We at equilog.com.ng provides competent training in heavy duty equipment such as Crane, Excavator, Dredger, Forklift, Swamp Boogie, Payloader and Dozer with an international certification by OSHA. Grab this lifetime OPPORTUNITY!
