elookoo: In recent months, Nairaland has been awash with agitators for Biafra, using various methods to convince Ibos on the need for Biafra and making their case. Slowly they are being noticed, even though Biafra agitation did not start today, the way Nnamdi kanu is going about it is cowardly. MASSOB method is far far better and has more likelihood of success than kanus. There are many MASSOB members languishing in jail and undergoing rigorous trials, yet they have not given up.....what does kanu do, he sits comfortably in London and takes advantage of the freedom of speech there to preach biafra, I DARE KANU TO COME TO NIGERIA AND AGITATE FOR BIAFRA HERE, I DARE NNAMDI KANU TO LEAD PROTEST, GET ARRESTED AND FACE TRIAL LIKE A TRUE LEADER SHOULD AND NOT THOSE PHOTO SHOOT HE IS DOING IN LONDON THAT NEVER HAVE UP TO 10PEOPLE, WE ALL KNOW HOW MANY TIMES UWAZURIKE HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND DETAINED. The world over, there are many nations agitating for independence, while some of them have gone violent, others are non violent, eg a republic called Saharawi in north Africa Nigeria is one of the few countries that recognize this nation and the country has an embassy in wuse2 Abuja. Biafra can be attained , but not this Kanu way. Why has nobody of importance backed him yet, both locally and internationally (maybe they are secretly, but until they come out openly and support him)not even countries that supported biafra during the war will back the kanu guy. And yes all you Biafra e warriors always saying Yorubas don't want you to leave Nigeria cos of laziness or cos of oil, go and read your history books again, Yorubas have always wanted self determination and have perfected the art of regionalism until your Ibo brothers carried out the first coup and your Aguyi Ironsi introduced unitary government that gave birth to the present centralized form of government we have now
I DARE ALL YOU BIAFRA E WARRIORS TO STOP USING NAIRALAND TO PROPAGATE YOUR BIAFRA , AFTERALL ITS NAIRALAND NOT BIAFRALAND WE WONT MISS YOU ALL TO SHOW YOU REALLY WANT AND LOVES BIAFRA PLEASE AND PLEASE LEAVE OUR NAIRALAND ALONE, AFTERALL MOST OF YOU HATE YORUBAS SO MUCH, WHY USE WHAT A YORUBA MAN OWNS , ARE YOU TELLING US YOU CANT BUILD A COMMON WEBSITE / Emptiness is your surname. Did Nnamdi or Biafrans ask you for advise ? Fear of losing the Igbos is your biggest nightmares, why should we listen to cowards for advise. Nnamdi doesn't need to stay in Nigeria why making a point. We can't keep feeding some lazy generation of debtors. |
Career › Re: Please Help! My Boss Is Scared I Will Replace Her by kernel501: 11:05am On Sep 04, 2015 |
Nnaeb: Dear JobTrends,
I am facing a very difficult time at my workplace. I landed a job fourteen months ago and the first eight months were the honeymoon period. My boss loved everything I did. I walked around feeling on top of the world. I was very innovative.
First I replaced our outdated newsletter publishing platform with a new one that is faster, cheaper and much easier to use. I cleaned out our newsletter subscriber database and used social media tools to double our newsletter subscription list.
Then I started including fun little quizzes and community discussion topics on our site and our newsletter. Our sales increased by fifteen percent. I created a “Get Started” kit for new customers. I’ve never had as much fun on a job as I had in my first eight or nine months here. Then things started to get ugly.
My boss said “You’ve made your point. Give the new ideas a break.” I was completely shocked. I thought my boss who happens to be of an opposite sex, the Head of Marketing, would want to keep moving forward fast. I thought that my new ideas would make my boss happy and they did at first, but then she said “e don do.”
I have a dozen more ideas ready to implement. The salespeople have asked me for an online customer training that they can use when they visit new customers.
Now I don’t know how to prove my value or even how to get through the day. I can’t even answer sales and customer requests intelligently because I can’t say “That’s a great suggestion, and we are working on implementing it.” I can’t say that because it isn’t true!
I haven’t spent a dime on my marketing initiatives. The only expense to the company is my salary which is not that big. I replaced a person who was paid a lot more than I get paid, because I heard it from the salespeople who were very dissatisfied with my predecessor, kemi.
Please I need your advice, what should I do? I’m completely frustrated. Can I get my boss, to let me keep doing my job or do I have to leave my job after less than a year and a half knowing how unfriendly the labor market is?
Thanks,
Christopher

Stop trying to be relevant you idiot. Relate with them at your own peril. It was the relationship Gej had with them that made him lose to Buhari. Igbos can never trusted. They've shown us over the years that they are treacherous and won't waste time in annexing your land and calling it no man's land. Are you scared that your tribe is turning 18 of age, and will never be spoon fed by the Igbos sooner or later. |
