But Ambode should not use it as a means of extortion. A person who was paying 140,000 naira as LUC last year, is now suddenly told to pay 2 million naira as LUC, for this year. And you have given him just 30 days to do so. Is he going to steal to pay it? Or is the current govt trying to pauperise landlords in Lagos? Does Ambode not realise that landlords would automatically increase house rents for their tenants, in order to make up for the increase in LUC?
