My experience with Futurefocus

Before we start , I have gotten numerous headset from this guy , I even purchased one portable speaker for my office the we are currently using for zoom

So, one day I was interested in one of watches he advertised and politely dm him asking for the function of the said watch

He said the price of the watch was 120k .NB: this was during work hour and I was still very much busy at work

Omo before I open the messaged, baba has cleared all the chats oo and I find it really really offensive.

In all,that guy is a mad bipolar patient that is so mannerless and rude.even if you are selling the oxygen humans are breathing you won't be so mannerless .you are unnecessary rude

Do you have another job you are doing If people don't patronise you here can you make a living ??

Threatening people with dss, you are such a lunatic.who do you think you are in the society? Can you afford the services of a renowned lawyer ??

How much is your annual turnover to be threatening people with DSS

We are all here to promote our business or get a service ..nobody is coming here to beg

So cut us some slack ,treat people with respect and be very assertive with your dealing

If u’ve ever sold something over the internet before u’d understand how frustrated this man would have been with all the back and forth bargainings, indicating interest to pay and then disappearing, only to resurface, and instead of sending receipt of payment, to ignore past chats and spring up new one like u’all had never chatted before.

That customer was most likely attempting to resell to somebody. He’d have stated so from scratch to help Futurefocus to be able to condone him. Simple!

I’ve dealt with some of them before, and they almost always want to act like the boss whereas their unstableness and excess time wasting sell them out abh every time.

the guy get issues honestly. I'm a vendor here, people can come to my DM,ask for photos and detailed video of what they want. I will take my time to explain to them and they will even call on the phone. It could go on for almost a week or two and they will still go elsewhere to buy. I wouldn't hold it against them but continue to deliver for the people who have paid me. In some cases, they will circle back after the first deal didn't work out.

This guy has this entitled mindset that whoever bargains must buy. He advertised one Anker speaker that I really liked and I made enquires but at that particular time, I don't have enough disposable funds to purchase.
I only asked him if he can have something like that by the weekend only for him to say that I am spoiling his business that why should I expect him to have same item for that long.
This is someone who I have bought items over eight times. Sometimes I pay him to get me a particular something whenever it's available.
He threatened to block me and I shunned him and blocked him instead and deleted his number. He can continue with his business without insulting me and still be profitable without me buying.
But such stupid attitude is something I can not tolerate from him or anyone especially if I am the one paying you

I still don’t get how some of you think I’m guilty here, this guy chatted me for 2days, take this pictures, take that pictures, and then disappeared , this was in the midnight, which I don’t mind, but then came back the following day in the afternoon, asked plenty questions and then said he wanted it and then disappeared till another midnight again, I still took time to attend to him and even told him I don’t like his unstableness, and then he disappeared again only to come back and start asking for pictures of watches, can you tolerate that in this January when sales is low because people are chasing house rent and school fee as priority? He then asked me to get out which was what trigger me, and I blocked him and guyman ran on the thread to call me Moro.n

And all the people I have had minor misunderstanding with in the past were glad to jump on the beat, ever since then, many of them have remix his song

So What I’m I supposed to do? Let me blackmail me without responding to him?

I'm always on this thread every day because I usually get some great deals every now and then. Anyday I come on this thread and I suddenly see like 3 pages unread, my first thought is that maybe that futurefocus guy and one of his clients don get issue again. Baba needs to be calming down, you can't keep fighting everyone whether you're right or not. Who no buy today fit buy tomorrow. I know a lot of people have vouched for your integrity but you seem not to mind using your own mouth to discredit their recommendations. I know you think (because you always say so) that it doesn't affect your business because people keep patronising you, but I can assure you it does. Even a rude customer today can return to buy something substantial tomorrow, or even refer others, it mostly depends on how you handle the situation. Sometimes some people might want to call you for some of your products but will be afraid if they don't talk well you may give it to them wotowoto.

FutureFocus could be many things, but he is not a criminal or fraudulent. I have bought a couple of things from him and I got value for my purchase. He even has my money for my next purchase and he has been the one following us up.

Calling someone fraudulent or criminal is an extreme accusation and should only be done if you have verifiable infallible proofs. The fact that you have internet access and this is a faceless forum doesnt not give you the leeway to act irresponsibly. Nigeria is not an entirely lawless country and justice can still be served hot. Even if you are overseas, you can still be dealt with within the ambits of the law if the other party is motivated enough

Popular Nigerian lawyer Afe Babalola has disclosed his intention to withdraw the defamation suit against his colleague and activist, Dele Farotimi.

Farotimi was arrested after Babalola’s petition to the police commissioner in Ekiti State that the former defamed him in a book titled ‘Nigeria and its Criminal Justice System’.

After standing trial for alleged criminal defamation before an Ekiti State Magistrate Court, Ado Ekiti District, and for alleged cyber-bullying before the Ado Ekiti Division of Federal High Court, Farotimi was released on bail.

Addressing the case after the mediation of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and other traditional rulers, Babalola said he had agreed to withdraw the case.

“I will tell my lawyers to withdraw the case,” he stated.

“The monarchs are here, they have appealed to me over a criminal charge involving somebody who said I was corrupt.

“If you go through the pamphlet (Farotimi’s book), you will find that he attacked many judges by names, he attacked Supreme Court judges, and none is bothered, but I am bothered.

“I am bothered because of where and how I started life, from the farm to where I am.

“There is nothing I am going to gain from his imprisonment. There is nothing I am going to gain from so-called damages. I am not in quest of more wealth, rather how to spend what I have for the benefit of others. The only time I am happy is when I give.

“The request is simple, take away this criminal case in court. When Obasanjo wrote, he came here, I said no. When Kukah phoned and came, I said no, but on this occasion, I say yes.

“Thank you Kabiyesis. I will speak to my lawyers to withdraw it,” Babalola added.
