Check King David hospital, Kemta housing Estate, Idi aba.. just few buildings away from the estate gate. The Medical director is a senior gynaecologist at FMC idi aba.

Check FMC idi aba too. it's a government hospital though.

I stay in abeokuta and I use sacred Heart hospital at Lantoro. The funny thing is datz where I was born including all my siblings.
Don't know much abt oda private hospitals

B.S.:-
6pm - got to hospital.
7pm - was given bedspace.
2am - procedure started (drug inserted).
6am - was feeling normal contraction (3cm).
8am - contraction was serious but I was calm and just calling Jesus once it hit. Doctor thought I was still 3cm because I wasn't showing sign of serious contraction and was advising me on other options (cs) if I don't progress till 12noon. I told her to check that am sure I have progressed and after she checked I was taken to delivery room (6cm).
9am - oxytocin was added to my drip and the contraction was intense and I started the breathing technique which really helped me (7cm).
10:25am - my beautiful baby girl arrived weighing 2.75kg with generous cut (according to the doctor that stitched)
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support.
To every mothers: - we will not cry over our little one.
To every pregnant women:- we will deliver safely with baby and mother alive.
To every going to conceive (gtc) ladies:- now is your appointed time.

It wasn't an easy jouney after 6 years of waiting on d lord and also had miscarriage last year at 2 months and that was supposed to be my first baby and i know God has other plans for me and I I know my heavenly father has signed this baby im carrying. At that point, my cousin was not herself anymore, she was just shaking and shaking . The nurse said

I got mad, I have been the one helping my cousin since we entered the labour ward. Even to help me and carry her or support her when its obvious that am finding it difficult, she no help, she has just been busy chewing gum and pressing her phone, now she is talking? Nansense and ingredients!
I gave her a piece of my mind. Told her am going to report her to the head of nursing services.
My cousin was just crying and saying
"Fiducia leave her ooo, it is pushing me ooo, God it is pushing me"
Then the nurse still cursing and raining insults, helped me and we laid her on the bed.
I hurried out to fetch another nurse. I just knelt down and begged the nicest of the nurses to please come and attend to my cousin. She agreed and followed me back to the delivery room. She told the winch winch nurse to step aside. That one gladly did.
My cousin was checked and surprisingly, she was fully dilated. The nice nurse told the winch winch nurse to quickly gather the instruments for delivery while she counsels my cousin on how to push.
The winch winch nurse was just chewing gum and being so sluggish. Ewww which kind devil be this?
The nice nurse was already telling my cousin to assume birthing position and push at the next contraction.
At the next contraction, she pushhhhhhhhed. Baby's head was coming but not out.

"Fiducia come and hold me ooo, am tired, am tired ooo, am tired"

She was holding her ankles, so I held her shoulders.
When the contractions came again, she gave it her all and pussshed, the nurse gave her a cut and then baby came out crying his lungs out. Oxytocin was administered to control post partum hemorrhage.

"Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus"

She was smiling and crying at same time
Pheeew, I felt sooo relieved!
Placenta was delievered. she was stitched and cleaned up.

STRETCH MARK!!
Stretch marks, also called striae gravidarum, looks like indented streaks in the skin.

Pregnancy is one of the most common times when women notice stretch marks. In fact, it’s estimated that 50 to 90 percent of pregnant women will develop stretch marks before delivery.
Hormones during pregnancy may make you more prone to stretch marks. And a good number of pregnant women will notice stretch marks starting in the sixth or seventh month of pregnancy.

In pregnancy, it appears mainly most on the breast, abdomen thigh.

TIPS INTO PREVENTING STRETCH MARK DURING PREGNANCY:

1. Weight control: gaining and loosing weight contribute to stretch marks

2. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty water (8 glasses a day).
Drink herbal tea. Choosing teas without caffeine it helps the body stay hydrated, and can alleviate the boredom of drinking only water every day.
Also eat watery fruits and vegetables. Choose watermelon, cucumber, strawberries, honeydew, and other watery fruits.

3. Healthy diet: Eating a nutrient-rich food helps boost the skin health. Make sure your diet includes foods rich in vitamins.

4. Include Vitamin C in your diet: Vitamin C can be found in many fruits and vegetables. Citrus fruits, such as oranges and lemons, are especially good sources of vitamin C.

5. Vitamin D: The easiest way to get vitamin D is through exposure to the sun(don't sun yourself). The vitamin is also commonly added to bread, cereal, and dairy products like milk or yogurt.

6. Zinc. Foods rich in zinc include chicken, lamb, beef, eggs, nuts, legumes, fish and whole grains it helps keep the skin healthy.

7. When you develop itching either on the breast or abdomen, try not to scratch but rub on them.

8. Shea butter is good to apply

10. Oils such as: Bio oil, coconut oil, essential oil, castor oil are very good to start applying before formation of stretch marks in pregnancy.

11. Palmer Cocoa butter cream is a favorite among expecting mothers

12. Exercise during pregnancy: Perform exercises that makes pregnancy easier on your body. You can stretch your hands,legs.
Dancing is very good, Swimming, Kegel exercises, and other simple movements can help keep your blood moving and keep you more comfortable during pregnancy.

Hello Mamas. I'm excited to be posting here for the very first time. Been trying to catchup from the beginning of the thread...Not easy but it's been wonderful. Learning a whole lot from the experienced mamas. FTM... 17weeks + 1 today�
Started antenatal at 7weeks. Did my first scan then...can't wait to do my second scan and see my baby.
EDD is August. No morning sickness, been eating like normal which has made me orobo�. I thank God that I can eat and don't have nausea or spitting episode. Praying for all the women TTC. They will be fruitful and carry to term. For all the preggy mamas. We shall all carry to term in Jesus name. Amen.

Thanks so much mama. How did you know when it degenerated? I was having severe painß and the doc asked me to go for a scan, that was how we realized it was cyst. But I haven't felt the pain since then.
Did you have painß?

Its was seen wen I went for scan then later it was no longer seen. Didn't av pain due to cyst but had due to fibroid.

Cyst its no big deal according to my gynae, had it earlier in pregnancy but it's gone now. I learnt it will shrink on its own. I no come Sabi if Cyst get types
