Usually resolves on its own within 2 days to couple of weeks without treatment. The following have been proven to help with spinal headache. Bed rest for at least 24-48hours preferably on your back, hydration ( lot of water), drinks high in caffeine( very cold coke ) and ibucap tablet.
If headache is getting worse, talk to your provider.

The ache should reduce gradually since you are on medication. I have had 3 CS, all 3 with spinal anaesthesia and i didn't experience headache with any so I can't say much. Take good care of yourself with baby and rest well.

Congratulations mama. God bless your DD. I think your Doctor should have given you pain medication concerning the headache. Have you complained to them? Please, keep off any type of stress as much as possible. Wishing you quickest recovery.

FairyGodmother that your upate was so sweet and detailed, God will make it easy for us amen. temmytayur and Nemzy on the contrary ehn na now the sleep dey sweet me but I still have to get up early and prepare for work , Rosebell and cinderellashoes nice work on your bags being packed and ready to go. I would prefer a leggings and top for going home just cos I know that I will still be bleeding and a leggings bottom would be more confortable for me. It shouldn't be a long ride home na. I know some of us haven't concluded our packing still so I will give us one more week of grace. Next week as you answer roll call, you must add that your bags are packed and ready to go me included . To the glory of God, I welcomed my Princess on Tues 4th Aug, 2020. EDD was 26th July.

My pregnancy journey was very smooth; no MS, spits, I was glowing and was indeed pampered by hubby. First, Second n even Third trimesters were good to me. I was very strong and glowed all through.
I started panicking After passing my Edd dates. The only thing on my mind was when baby would come out as she already weighed 3.45 at 38 weeks scan. I ate pineapples, dates, walked, did yoga exercises, avoided meals.. chai. The final weeks of my pregnancy wasn't funny atall.
July went by and I said, 'Well Baby wants to be an August baby.' On the 2nd of August after evening stroll with my kid sis, I started having contractions but thought it was Braxton Hicks. Not until I got home and went to ease myself then I saw 'show'. My happiness knew no bounds. I couldn't wait for hubby to be home so I could tell him. The dude really suffered those final times cos I was always unhappy that Baby hadn't come. He came and I shared him the news. We called his brother who is a Medical Doctor. He asked us to wait till the next day bfr going to the hospital.
We got to the hospital at 4pm the next day 3rd Aug. Doctor checked me and I was 6cm dilated. He was happy and said 'Madam, your baby would soon be here.' Before 10pm same night,I was already 8cm with contractions coming back to back. The nurses has done enamel on me so they assured me that whatever pooing feeling I was having was my baby but I shouldn't push yet as I needed to be in at least 9cm.
This was where devil decided to struck. The labour couldn't progress. I was in 8cm from 10pm on the 3rd till 4th. I was almost going mad from untoractions. Doctor said because I was having hard contractions, he didn't want to induce so as not to over stress baby. At some point, he had no option but to put the hot drip. Chai, if u r here and having any issues with ur mother, pls make amends. What women go through to bring babies to life is not a little experience.
Despite the drip, I still wasnt dilating and doctor had to remove it cos of baby. He was coming to check baby's heart beat from time to time. He reminded my hubby of the Pelvimentry xray we didn't do and said probably its the cause.
By noon of 4th, I was already weak and still hadnt gone beyond 8cm! Hubby was crying n praying, same with my mom. I called hubby and told him that I couldnt go through the pains anymore that doctor should come operate on me bfr either I or the baby passes on. With tears in his eyes, he went to the doctor's office, signed the paper and I was taken to the theatre. I learnt Baby was. brought out 15mins later. She had already pooped and the doctor said if we hadnt taken that decision the exact time we did, we might have lost her. Hubby was called to bring me out. We were discharged 6days later.
My Princess is a beauty to behold. I can't stop thanking God for such a wonderful gift. At the end of the day, Mummy is alive, Baby is alive and Daddy is alive. I return all glory unto God Almighty.

Congrats to my August teamies that just birthed their LOs. I was due yesterday, yet no signs. I don waka tire, climb staircase, squat and kpekusing. My hospital said if I don't fall into labour this weekend, I will be induced on Monday.

Mama, abeg try shop ni ooo. I'm done with mine, thanks to my mom and hubby. The way my body is doing me, I am praying to port to August ni. The fatigue, abi na the backache or the GERD abi the frequent peeing or the night vigilante after peeing say 2-3am, no sleep again till morning. I can categorically say that I am tired! The waddling and feet swelling na normal things ni. Plus the kain punches this babe dey dash me eh, it's well! I just cant wait to offload. God will make it easy for all of us expectant mothers. Amen!

Mama thanks so much 4 checking up on me. It's not easy ooo my sis. Am really waddling now. Back pain is something else, to turn in bed nko na story for another day, down below pain is unexplainable. If I sit for a while to stand up and walk na war. My consolation is just that am near the finishing line. My first pregnancy na enjoyment. Na now I know say I get Belle.

With so much tears in my eyes Am out of the race mummies, I was booked 4 cs on monday but sunday morning i wasnt hearing my baby movement, he Wasn't playing with me, so i ran to the hospital doctor wasnt on ground, d nurse checked heartbeart and said baby is fine I guess she didnt want me 2 panick, but i was not convinced i went round the town no were to do scan because it was on a sunday morning.
.
fast toward to Monday I left home as early as 7am with my mother in law because DH wasn't around, so I did d scan and d radiologist said I should go give my doctor the result,

when doctor saw d report he just told me DAT instant that baby was dead, I almost collapsed. my bp rose to 160/110
.
they placed me on injections and bed rest till Tuesday morning to bring baby out. I felt pain throughout that night so Tuesday morning we were waiting for doctors to do cs, but he came some minutes past 9am as against his usual 8/8;30 timing.

marathon prayers were held here and there for me,
i didnt know d stomach pains was labor so when nurse check me she say am in labour (4cm) before the team of doctors came ,and checked again, my bp also reduced so they said no cs again that I'll give birth myself.
.
that was how the journey of excruciating pain started from 9 am till 4pm before main show started, I saw hell the doctors and Master Jesus took charge and baby was forced out at 4;20pm
.
help ME thank Master Jesus for saving me despite prophesies I came out alive but without my son.
.
my problem now is my breast its as strong as stone I couldn't sleep throughout d night.
.

thanks dear, i have really been reading up on Vbac and backing it up with prayers, and i believe all pregnancies are different, thats why am going for Vbac and my OB is ok with it, but he said i wont be induced.

Yh. Its not advisable to induce one with CS history. God will surely come thru for you.

Thanks everyone I went for another scan and I was told the baby is okay. The radiologist said he can’t see such in the amniotic fluid and I saw the heartbeat rate

If you have checked your baby's sex please update us. In other news I attended antenatal today. See plenty blood they took for blood test...4 vials. Blood pressure is good and no protein in urine but the way I am adding weight no be here o. I don't even eat as I want to considering how I like to eat if I wasn't conscious of adding more weight. Let us be looking. I hear that cucumber is good for regulating blood pressure. Add to your diet if you can. I like to blend mine into smooties with other sweet fruits.

both of us are positive. The whole thing started 3days after he was born, they discovered the jaundice and he was put under the light and after few day we were discharged and ask to come back 2days later for follow up test which we did and it went back up to 16 and he was placed under the light again before we were discharge again and ask to come back for another follow up it then went back from 9 to 11but the private hospital felt it was nothing to worry about but people around us keep saying it's not go to circumcise him when the jaundice is still in his body which made us to carry out jaundice test to check the level so that we can circumcise him only for the result to come back 18 you needed to see me that as I was just crying, someone directed us to one general hospital on Abraham Adesunya Maternity and Child center, that was how we rushed to the place and they had to redo the test which came back 11. N his PCV was 31 and the Dr gave us antibiotics to use for one week and see them again in a week time.
I went back on Tuesday to see the Dr and the same test was carried out but according to the Dr's the jaundice is nothing to worry about as he has passed the danger stage and it will clear with time but their major concern is his blood level for his again is low which made them to admit us that Tuesday to give him blood and we were discharged yesterday.
His ward was on the 3rd floor and I kept on going up and down now as I am typing now all my body is seriously paining me and yet my breast milk is not flowing the way I want it to flow and I have used everything usable like cookies, palm wine, breast milk granola that am yet to use still nothing.
It making me feel bad as if I am seriously failing my son.
Missing my MIL badly, can't wait for her to come and pamper me.

Motherhood... you are a very strong woman. Despite all this you still come here to check on ur teamies and everyone. May God bless you and May we all live long to reap the fruit of our labour. Sorry mama. The flow of breast milk is due to the stress. Now that u are home try and relax. It is well with you mama and you LO.
