Enough of all this CSU certificate bullshit. We're sick and tired of all this crappy issues. We had hoped that you could prove some of the election rigging allegations by the 'alleged' drug dealer, when you had the opportunity at the tribunal. You couldn't even outline, with clear evidences, areas where your votes were either deducted and added to Emilokan's numbers, or any clear discrepancies in your own party's records with those churned out by the misnamed 'Independent' Electoral Commission. Alas! You're now clinging on to this silly certificate crap. Let us even think for a moment, this same person Tinubu, like him or not, has risen to be a member of the Nigerian senate, a two-term governor of a state, and now the President, and C-in-C of the Armed Forces; all of these without the necessary certifications? *For the records, this very forged certificate allegations will be thrown out through the window at the Supreme Court.* Please, Alhaji Atiku and our beloved Mr Obi, if there isn't any more tangible allegations against BAT, kindly let him and, We the people at large, get focused on important issues bordering on the survival and damage control of our already battered fatherland. I just tire for this my country sha. Well, like they say, may the labours of our heroes past NEVER be in vain. |

Kano is strategically needed by APC for 2027 elections. So they just can't let that state out of their control simple. |

Proper wahala Kai Nigerians... wetin person no go hear sef? Deradicalization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration of repentant terrorists, magically transformed into 'clients, through psycho-social/psycho-spiritual therapies, recreations, vocational training; while their many victims (displaced and helpless men, women, and children) are left to suffer. Really, crazy things are happening! |
I hope help comes in fast. |
Kobojunkie, I just want to appreciate your objectivity in delivering your points. I only felt a little frustrated when you kept on indulging those two people earlier on, in the first 3 pages. It was just sickening reading their subjective views repeatedly. The original poster simply pointed out the 'gaps' inherent in traditional marriages NOT backed up by exchange of either vows or oaths (duly signed by both parties, and binding on them) in either a church or marriage registry, simple. So young ladies and gentlemen, kindly read and learn to protect your interests in marriage. |
Anambra State that was calm, compared to other Eastern states just 2 months ago. A month to elections everywhere scatter... Much of the ever increasing state of lawlessness and the scary height of insecurity across the country, can be traced to the negligence and intentional inactions of this government over time. Anyway, no one lives forever, rich or poor, leader or the led, bandit or clergyman, the aged or infants, etc... Life itself is a script, once the bus gets to your own bus stop, you MUST get off the bus, whether you like or not. May God Almighty heal our land. |
President Longman Ajala Safe trip to you. Finally, he's going to the US to make sure 1 dollar is equal to 1 Naira. Sai Baba!

emmanuelewumi:Agreed, however I believe you can both mandate your bank to accept either of the signatures, or both when a required. I and my spouse operate a particular account this way. Although, it will work only for a couple with complete mutual trust. |
veave:My advice to you veave, like someone just said, it's best to be private and discreet with personal details when it comes to social media. You can easily and mistakenly reveal your real person to others, or someone good with IT stuff. With the little info you've put up here, in less than 5mins, I was able unravel your actual person. Just to prove to you; OVC are your initials and AN your hubby's, inter alia. So, please let's be careful with what we post on a forum where we wish to remain faceless. |
Mine was many years ago, in a boarding school located somewhere around the north central of Nigeria. Back then, we usually go to do our laundry and fetch water in some not to far away streams. One Saturday morning, a group of us, like 12 'seniors' (i.e final year guys) decided to go far up to track the source of the stream water flowing down the hilly terrain. After a long walk across many hills, happily plucking up mangoes, cashews, and other fruits from trees along the way, and passing through several Fulani settlements, we arrived at the base of a massive waterfall. The beauty surrounding the sounds and sights of unending flow of water, rushing down from very high up the fall, is best left to one's imagination. The lovely glow of mother nature still lingers in my memory like it's just a week ago. Somewhere around the bottom like most waterfalls, was a rather tranquil 'swimming pool' with a little 'beach' by the side of a mass of solid rock, and all that we desired after the exhausting journey was a cool bathe under the midday sun. One after the other, we started jumping into the water. At least, I occasionally bathe and 'swim' inside the streams near our hostels when we go to wash our clothes, so I was sure I could swim. So, I jumped in as well. Everything went fine for like 15 minutes or so, as I joined in displaying my back, side, freestyle and butterfly stokes. Lovely memories! Suddenly, my energy level began to drop, it felt like I was being pulled down by a force, tried endlessly to maintain my motion. All my struggles seemed to go unnoticed by any of my colleagues. At the bottom of the pool, I tried with all my energy to push myself up using my feet. As I surfaced, I remember water rushing into my mouth and nostrils when I tried calling out for help. Everyone else seemed busy having the fun of their lives, not knowing that someone closeby was dieing. Years after, when I first told my wife is story, and one other near death experience I had while driving, I woke up to see her sobbing that night, she was probably overwhelmed. Well, all I can remember today of that experience, while I was down under and desperate to survive, I tried to hold onto a leg that moved above me, but quickly lost grip. Time stood still, deep inside the clear body of water, I gradually began to give in to death's grip. Everything other thing that happened afterwards I honestly cannot recall. According to the story that went round later in the hostel and school in general, I was told that a certain guy noticed I failed to resurface after my second struggle at the surface, dived in to you for me. He succeeded in pulling my body up from the bottom, assisted by on boy nicknamed "old school". A while later, they all managed to revive me after forcing out from my nose and mouth, some water I had gulped. I have no memory of all that happened during the divine rescue. In summary, that student was used by the Almighty to save my life that day. Where ever you are today, Peter; I wish you long life, good health, and many joyful memories.... Thank you once more bro. |
