From what I'm seeing so far on this thread it's time we start asking verification queations like money agencies do (neteller, skrill and PayPal) before we deal with anyone. Questions like 1.what's your name, then 2.what's your baptismal name, 3. what's your nickname, 4.what name is on your bank account, then finally snap with a government recognized I'd card that clearly shows a name that tallies with the ones you provided in questions 1,2 and 4 before we deal of I'm the receiver. then if MITM still happen them it must be from a strong babalawo

In summary, just tell the buyer or seller to send you a verified ID card that tallies with the name on the acct you are sending to

I guess this would go a long way in helping to curb MITM, impersonation and give you an easy way to track a scammer down.

But again, you have to remember that not everyone has this verified ID card but I feel everyone should have an ID card that can give some lil details about him e.g school ID card, work ID card etc
