I see people talking about cryptocurrencies here so I think is should add this

Lost 750k to Ethereum in January
Invested 350k in altcoins in January and had to sell off in September for 46k after HODLing thinking it'll yeast.
Lost another 1.6m to gift cards in September.
Coupled with occasional 100k, 150k, 50k loses throughout the year

All in all, I still don't think I lost anything significant.. I just feel I got more experienced.

For anyone trying to venture into crypto currency is at this time. I advise you just invest your money somewhere else Sha.. the good ol days are over..

It's the red season now grin grin grin

I came across a thread on nL https://www.nairaland.com/4548511/business-start-400k-lagos

Being the entrepreneurship person that I was, I set out to give it a try.

Left my base in Ilorin to try it out.

Long story cut short.. I invested about 160k into it. Lost about 54k

But I'm unbothered tho, I'm still giving it two more shots next month before giving up on it.

I'm attaching a screenshot to summarise everything I spent.

Note I didn't include my transport, cus I was driving my car myself and it was some sort of tourism to me.

Lesson learnt,
Never test a business based on what people say and don't try any business with money you can't comfortably lose (I learnt the last part from cryptocurrency) grin

Alright let's make this work. I've gone through the thread from the first page to the last page and I'm honestly inspired learning how people came across their fortune. I've also shared mine, became a millionaire at 23 (cryptocurrency investments and trading). 2019 is going to be a massive year for me and I'm opening up an opportunity to a few of you on here. I need dedicated people who can work. Yeah I know you all feel inspired but behind these millions are serious work. I don't want someone coming to me to beg for money, there's no free money anywhere and I honestly don't have money to dash out, but the little I have I shall give, which is pointing you to the way to make your first million next year legitimately.

To qualify, you must be in atleast one of these categories:
*You should be a graduate currently serving(preferably in schools)
*An undergraduate.
*Determined to work hard and be goal oriented.
*Ready to use your brain because this is going to be very tasking but pay will be worth the work and I guarantee you 1million by this time next year.

Please I'll repeat again, I am not giving out free money. I will only furnish you with every information you need and give you clues on how to fish then the ball will be in your court.
Interested people should drop their email, and I'll email you my contact. Thanks

1:35am Whew!!

Awesome thread. Made sure read all. 1:19am

For the skilled guys who ain't sure if they're good enough, you can test your capability by going to Fiverr.com, search your niche keywords (2D, 3D, Autocad, Graphics design etc) look out for sellers who render these services, click their gigs and read the gig descriptions to see if you can do things listed on the description.

Some sellers have sample videos and images on their profile. Use this method to evaluate your skill level, get a freelance mentor and go conquer! (Mentor because Fiverr used to easier in the past)

Tell us how much you've made cheesy

Please can anyone here recommend a "tinter" within Lagos to help me tint a Camry 08

This is the 6th time I'm tinting it in less than 3 months.

It just keeps pulling off on its own

The most recent one was two weeks ago when I tinted it in Abeokuta.. yesterday it started pulling off again on its own

I'm tired and I can't seem to wrap my head around driving a non-tinted car cry

Note.
I always allow it to cure for 24-48hrs embarassed

I stopped buying from them when I realized some people were selling much less than them. Paulo in living in bondage said that Andy did not explain these things very well to him so are you guys. Hmm, thanks for your information. 1 So all of you claiming I purchased it from paxful and some other websites were getting it fraudulently? Now I know why a guy I have purchased gift cards from for years stopped selling all of a sudden as he said something about gift cards dropping and people messing up the system; at least for many years that I have purchased and used his card I never had any issue so I can say he sells genuine cards though at a very high price.

I still believe some cards are purchased genuinely, some cards are given to people as gift but when they do not want to buy anything on amazon then they sell it off. Another group are 2 amazon affiliate as their payments are made in amazon gift cards , and definitely they will sell it at a cheaper rate to get their money. 3 Another group are the one that sends money home and their cheapest and fastest way of doing it is via the use of gift card.
I had met a direct seller of a gift card on a website like that and what the guy does is selling gift cards to like 1000 people in a day but he ends up shipping the cards to like only 50-100 buyers after he has used their money to run another business and perhaps made a lot of profit. That his profit would be shared among him and the 100 buyers while the rest gets their complete money back after a month or 2 months as he made sure his delivery time is pegged as 1-2months so you won't be able to cancel the transaction until after the delivery time had passed.
So in a nutshell, in as much as your explanation is true and might help others to decide and just like singapore1 has said, there are still people selling genuine gift card at a discount rate. I think I would have to stick to some old sellers I trust till I also confirm their cards are also fraudulently acquired make person no give me wetin go choke me Abeg.

1. Its a long chain, the person selling to you on the site serf obtained it 99% of the time fraudulently

2. Amazon affiliate is paid in ecodes and not physical cards

3. Would you rather send 500 to your neice via GC and have him get just 130-135k at most when you can send it via western union and he'll have over 175k??

Besides ecodes, I can confidently tell you ALL PHYSICAL GIFT CARDS SOLD IN NIGERIA ARE PROCEEDS OF FRAUD.

We'll know this sha, the issue why some people cards always have issues and some don't is simple

If you buy cards from suppliers who buy from the ''street'', you are 95% safe. If your supplier buys his cards from paxful always, na OYO be your case sha grin grin

SCAM ALERT!!!!![/color]

I'd like to report fraudulent action by olasunbomi007, i've had successfully dealing with him over 3 months, but our last deal in April was a disaster, he sold locked amazon cards to me which caused my amazon account to be locked, and he has refused to refund my complete money, he asked me to give him a month(since may 3rd) to be able to raise the funds to pay me, but it's been over a month now and he has refused to complete my refund.

Our chat history is very long, but i have sent it in full over to Ta baz.

Also I am offering 10,000 naira to anyone here on this forum that can please help me provide his relevant information leading to his whereabout, or any of his family members. This matter has already been reported to the police and i've written the statement, but GTBANK(which is his bank) said a court order is required before his home address is released to the police, which we are working on.
