Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by khassy(m): 7:10am On Dec 12, 2018
Gazzuzz. Top of the day to you sir.

Please I need your help before this mechanic spoil my car for me. Straight to the issue

3weeks ago I took my car to the mechanic for a regular brake pad change and to change the right front absorber cus he claim it was bent.

After the change, I took the car same day from ilorin to Ibadan the same day and didn't notice anything.. then from Ibadan to Lagos and back to ilorin the next day. I noticed some grinding noise whenever I press the brake on my way back to ilorin from Lagos so I took it to him back and he did one or two and said the car was fine.

I drove the car to Lagos last week Monday and the sound persisted, my friend in Lagos took me to his mechanic who said my brake disc needed to be filed as it wasn't even and that the last brake pad had worn off so much it affected the brake disc.

He took the brake disc to Turner and said everything was fine. When I drove the car from ijushaga to surulere, I noticed the grinding sound was still there and worse, the car now jerks when I try to brake.

I took it back to him and he said it was the brake pad that wasn't even, he did a couple of things on the brake pad and said all was fine.. took it back three days ago and the same jerking and grinding noise is still persisting, I'm even scared of driving the car as it is.

Now I'm scared of taking the car back to him for the third time.

Do you have an idea of what's wrong and do you have any person you can recommend me to around Ajah axis to help me fix it.

Car is a Toyota Camry 2008, 2AZ engine

I'll be expecting your reply.

Thanks

Am sorry if its too much questions... But am already thinking of multiple ways through which i can start that biz before seeing this your reply. So pls i would love to know the right and wrong steps you took for you to have lost such amount. Thanks.

The author didn't post a lot of risk that was attached such as having your bags stolen during the loading process

The single biggest risk is price fluctuations.
A bag could be selling for 5000 now and the next minute, it's going for 4000 and like that like that.

Regardless of the fact that I stayed in the market till every single bag was sold off, I still couldn't fathom out the reason for the quick changes in prices

However, one point I noted was prices always fall immediately a new van or trailer comes with goods as everybody would be scrambling to sell off before the new van/trailer is offloaded.

I heard it's the good session to trade it now, might be heading out in a week or two to try my luck again.

a lot of you claiming to be crypto experts dont know jack about crypto. So it crashed... what is the big deal. Can you tell us why it is crashing? Do you know why there was a boom last year? Was last year the only boom bitcoin experienced? Is this the only time bitcoin is crashing? Please if you dont know any of these then pls stop talking about crypto as if you know anything about it. Just because some people made some money from crypto last year all of a sudden they are all talking about bitcoin and co as if they understand anything about it.

I read all the comments on crypto here and i was just shaking my head all through. How can anyone say he has lost his money to crypto. Did the coins get stolen or what exactly? You bought a coin that rose from about $700 to $19000 in a year and only dropped to $4800 in another 10months and you all screaming crypto is a bad investment.
So you were honestly expecting bitcoin to be $100,000 now or what exactly were you guys expecting? How?

Crypto is a good investment if not the best investment. It is not for those who are expecting it to multiply their margins within a few months. Please sell your coins to those who know the value and let us hear word

Lol

You sound pained. grin grin

I didn't claim to be an expert.. I said experts are throwing in the towel.. I didn't say I was.

Talking about not losing money .. if you bought 1 BTC at about 6m last year and it's worth just about 1.6m now, that's a profit??

Lol, stop sounding smart when you aren't.

Goodluck with your hodl anyways, I was advicing a novice about to invest his money not you who is a supposed Satoshi Nakamoto cousin.

PS
You can put your opinions in clear terms without sounding like a kid who had his meal taken from him.

Next time learn some courtesy, stop running your mouth like a leaking faucet

Good day Gazzuzz.

Two days ago on my way from Lagos my car Ac suddenly stopped working about 5hrs into the journey.. took it to my kazeem and he said he'll need to fix something's and change the air filter.

He did that and I collected my car yesterday afternoon..

After driving for about an hour again, the fan went off again and later in the evening for the first time since I have been using this car my car overheated.

Temperature was on the last red, has to quickly park and all my coolant was already sizzling out from the reserve.

I called him, he came and checked, said he couldn't find anything. He poured water into the radiator and advised I take it home and bring it today.

I checked the car this morning for burnt gasket or leaking radiator and everything seemed fine. The radiator water didn't even reduce.

He checked it Thia morning and still couldn't find anything, he later said I should drive the car around and bring it in the afternoon so he can check again.

Please what could possibly be wrong.

The car is a Camry 08

NOTE
I have always used coolant since I got the car, never mixed my coolant before

I used Mobil 1 5w30 and always change my oil at 4500miles, recently moved to Mobil 1 extended and my odometer is approaching 4500miles already

you didn't learn the most important lesson.

"the time to buy is when there is blood (red season) in the street" - Baron Rothschild.

If I had big fund I can afford to lose, I will find all promising Cryptos that are at all time low and spread my portfolio across them.

It's easy to say from what you read till you start it and then you'll see that theories of cryptocurrencies and it's reality are opposite side of the coin.

Every book written about Bitcoin dates back to last year when Bitcoin was rather predictable

It's a whole new level now.

Even the pros in bitcoin are throwing in the towel and going home, don't think you know more than them because you read more
