aekanem:This is how I know your content would be valueless You were able to write all these without saying what we will get by downloading your audio, exactly why I'm sure I'll just listen to balderdash from listening to your audio. No offence |
bobot:I like your gig, how do you do those backlink ish |
Sadiq3051:Go wash your head with plantain seed |
tbliss22:You couldn't have said it better |
obasy09:Chat on fiverr If you're writing began article or blog post fit general audience, the only rule is "THERE ARE NO RULES IN WRITING" For targeted audience, follow the laid down rules. I start sentences with very funny words that would have warranted an F in school but my buyers love it and pay for it. In the words of natgeowild, EMBRACE YOUR WILD SIDE |
wman:The stress is high for me, not really from article but from personal stuffs. The only ish I have is my eyes, it reacts to bright light very easily and lately I've had to look at bright light from my PC and phone( due to both being bad) for almost 18hrs a day. I'm hoping to get some computer glasses by the week. I raised my delivery time to 2days when I couldn't handle 24 hours delivery any longer so handling my orders is pretty easy I don't know the last time I had a full day rest ( 8-5 Mon to Friday at work and 11-6 on Saturdays at training plus church activity filled Sunday combines to make me satisfied with 3-4 hour sleep per day ) Used to it already so it doesn't seem a big deal to me Yea, I have a frnd on this same thread. We help each other write if any of us is less busy . Just be sure the person you're giving can deliver sha. Your profile is okay save for some of your hobbies, I don't think they're needed (the games stuff should go) 1000 words for $5 as a level 1 seller is tiresome. It should be for new entries. I can see the three repeat buyers, nice one. If you're okay writing 1000 words for $5, good and fine, I rather not tho You look like a good writer, nice one |
Tabbaz:Nice one |
Singapore1:Yes |
Tabbaz:what service do you offer on upwork |

Last tip UPGRADE YOUR SKILLS. This one is for the writing guys but also applicable to other niches (na food wey person sabi cook, he d use entertain guest) read as much as you can about your niche, it helps. When I began writing for TRS clients, I was faced with so many revision request, it was very frustrating honestly. So I decided to brush up on my writing skills and started reading about anything related to writing (Thank God for my type of work, active 2 hours of working and I'm done for the day. Coupled with free internet, I have all the rest of the day to surf the net) so instead of watching YouTube videos and while away on whatsapp or LinkedIn, I decided to read about anything writing and learnt some rather funny rules in writing. In summary, all i learnt can be summed up in "You can flaunt all the rules of writing, but you have to master them enough to be able to flaunt them and still make sense" When I applied all the rules I learnt, not only did I stop getting modification request but my clients began to tip better. That's it guys, upgrade yourself!!!!! |
gurunlocker:seriously never knew this oooo anyway, I no d message them again ![]() |

MY GOLD MINE If you know your way around fiverr, you'll know doing $5 is a waste of time singapore, March, 2016. If you know your way around fiverr, you'll know Buyer request is overhyped. Khassy, September, 2016 I have nothing against Buyer request, as a matter of fact, I used to visit there almost everyday, till I discovered my goldmine. Since I wasn't getting enough repeat buyers as I wanted from BR, I began applying another trick I learnt from another e-Book. I searched the gigs of TRS and looked at her reviews. What was I looking for?? I looked at their reviews to see who left more than 1 or 2 reviews( this automatically tells you they are potential repeat clients). I tried to check their profile if they could be messaged. If i could message them, I left a simple and polite message telling them I wanted to be their personal writer. (This is the most stressful but more rewarding way of getting steady sales). Out of maybe a 100 I checked per say (Yes, I sometimes searched more than 100 a day), I could only message 10 or at most 20. Out of these 10 or 20, maybe 8 or 15 replied and out of this, I landed at least half of them. This guys don't get scared of being billed if you know your job ( if you are thinking you are good at writing because you have read Brighter Grammar from cover to cover, this is not for you. Those guys have been used to top notch writings so except you know your onions well, or you are okay with getting 3 or 2 stars with very hurtful review, stay out of these guys way) Was I successful with this, well I can say so, for over a week, I haven't had use of BR and never had less than 2-3 orders in queue. At a time I was peaking 6-7 orders in queue per day and if you know your job, you can get tipped 5* more than the order amount. So if you know your job, you can take a break from buyer request and try this. Now, I only visit Buyer request when I have 1 or 2 orders in queue or when I'm bored or want to go and read gemini86 request. sips cold shawarma, whats the next tip again serf ![]() |
After running low on sales for almost a week, I decided to try one of the tricks I learnt from my numerous fiverr e-books. I approached top sellers in my niche and messaged them, asking them to outsource some of their works to me. When applying take note of the following; 1. Introduce yourself 2. Tell them why they should hire you 3. Tell them you are ready to work for them for free as a sample so they can test your prowess before hiring. (I offered to write 2 articles of 500 words free) 4. Be courteous and brief. Those guys get lots of message and hardly read them. if you're in article niche i recommend kate_morgan, she's good and replies fast. She even asks you to send a custom offer for your sample. BE WARNED, that girl knows her job, she rejected mine because I had 3 sentences that were over 2 lines long (later got to know a sentence should not be more than two lines, readers get bored after a sentence continues to the third line) If you are able to land one TRS, you may never need to visit Buyer Request again, so take it as serious as you can. sips fanta. next post coming up |
So, I was running low on sales despite making a level 2 and decided to try some tips out. I'll be dropping them in a jiffy lemme go and put FADA FADA on repeat ![]() |
before I begin my epistle, lemme give this small advice ![]() A major trend with any NL thread is this; 1st stage: the thread is full with active participants looking to make a fortune and very serious, you can almost feel the dedication in their veins 2nd stage: the active participants start making the cash and the tension isn't as before 3rd stage: members just come to joke about old stuffs and occasionally post informative stuffs 4th stage: its a free for all, jokes, story telling and occasional useful tips. sadly, this thread is somewhere between the 3rd and 4th stage ![]() Yes!!! I said it, looking back in retrospect, I remember the days of HazzanTazzan unending questions and clarifications, Francogz perseverance, dygeasy suggestions and tips, singapore money hunting etc. (If you notice, most only come here once in a while) sadly, this thread has now turned to e-currency exchange, and gist parlor. The new comers are who I feel for most, honestly I dont think I can read through the 180+ pages of any thread. if you are just joining this thread, try reading page 0-10. All the info you need are there. Secondly, this thread isn't all there is to fiverr, follow as many threads on fiverr as possible even if it looks useless. I can confidently say I've read through 80% of threads relating to fiverr on NL and no matter how useless they seemed at the beginning, I always find one or two helpful tips in them. Any pdf or ebook you see about fiverr, even if it looks stupid, pls read it. No info is a waste. Lastly, I think I'm qualified to talk on this one since I've experienced it personally. after being banned, everyone tells you "guy just move on and create new account", if you've been in that shoe before especially if its your first time. Its quite tough (took me over 3 weeks to get the fiverr groove again). Take a minute after the ban and step back to analyse what went wrong and get your act together, tell yourself its either this or nothing. Open a new account when you feel you're balanced, dont rush yourself into it. Goodluck. |
