It’s was pink at Khloe Kardashian’s Elephant themed baby shower.

The 33-year-old, who’s eight-months pregnant with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson, threw an elephant themed bash at the Hotel Bel-Air on Saturday, which was hosted by Amazon Baby Registry.

Khloe went for a theme of neutral shades, and rather a lot of pink, and the colours flowed throughout, including on the table decorations and the hundreds of balloons which covered the floors, pink table settings and lighting. There’s also neon sign that says, “Baby Thompson.”

Her family turned up at the bash, looking all stunning. And little baby Stormi made an appearance too. Each guests had a hand written place setting and a tiny model elephant that stood next to a white plate with a pretty pink napkin.

Khloe took to Instagram to share a snap of her and sister Kourtney and wrote: “Had the most unbelievable baby shower – we felt so much love! #ad So grateful to be surrounded by a beautiful support system. “And special thank you to @Amazon for helping me bring it all together! Management of Dangote Group over the weekend accused BUA of engaging in illegal mining of limestone deposited in its Mining Lease No. 2541 located in a boundary town of Oguda/Ubo in Okene Kogi State.
 
Dangote’s Executive Director, Mr. Devakumar Edwin frowned at the media war instigated by BUA against the Dangote Group over a matter which is already pending before the Federal High Court, Benin Division.

The Ministry in exercise of its power under the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act, 2007 granted and issued to AICO ML. No. 2541 for the renewable period of 25 years effective from 1st February 2008 and to expire on 31 January, 2033. Thus AICO by virtue of the said grant, became vested with the legal title over ML. No. 2541.

For those of us who might be unfamiliar with the full meaning of the Nigerian SARS, it stands for the Nigerian Special Anti-Robbery Squad. As the name implies, their duties center around protecting the citizens of Nigeria from all forms of robbery cases. And the word “Anti” gives them that extra task of fishing out criminals before they strike the unsuspecting public. But Nigerians want them to be scrapped (#EndSARS Now!)

However, in recent years, the Nigerian SARS team has proven to be the very opposite of what they ought to be. They have turned from protecting innocent civilians, to harassing those whom they claim to be criminals. It is as if we Nigerians are just jumping from “pot to frying pan”, meaning that we are yet to get over the dilemma of our Libyan slaves, while facing the horrific matters of the SARS team. Suffice it to say that we are definitely experiencing our very own hand-crafted slavery in Nigeria. And if it weren’t for the strong bond to fight this crime with the use of our social media platform – Twitter #EndSARS – then no one would have the audacity to fight against this living-breathing-monstrosity called SARS.The SARS squad shoot suspecting criminals on sight and at will, not minding whether or not they are wasting innocent lives! “#BBNaija is back again!" Back to reality, and we read of how the best graduating student of UNN, from the Faculty of Health, receives N26,000 "cash" - ONLY! All that brain and hard work and she, Chinelo Okafor receives ONLY N26,000? We're going to get a little academic here and do some math. We are all aware of the present state of hardship that we are facing in our dear country Nigeria. And we all know how the prices of school fees and accommodations have skyrocketed in recent years. Now imagine the hardwork and pressure our parents endure to put one child through a Higher Institution in this country. The think of the number of years the child dedicates his/her time into studying and coming out tops in his set! Let me paint this picture for you, a University like Abia State University, whose school fees are as high as N200,000 for the incoming 1st year student. Coupled with accommodation fees ranging from N40,000 - N100,000 per student for the year (depending on pocket size). Not to mention pocket money that so many students hustle for, or are able to squeeze out of their parents. And we come up with roughly N350,000 at the most for one year at ABSU (Abia State University). However, the higher in class you go, the lesser the fees get (just by half I presume). Now lets assume Miss Chinelo Okafor schooled at ABSU for four years then we would be looking at the sum of N1,110,000. My goodness! that alone brings tears to my eyes when I remember that all she could be awarded with was less than what she would have spent throughout her four years in school. That is a shame on our educational system.

But Nigerians still have all the joy in the world to encourage an almost "senseless" show as Big Brother Naija. Don't get it twisted, it is not my business how anyone wishes to spend his/her money. But this is a show that is proud to say that they will give someone,e the sum of N45,000,000 in cash and prize for coming into a very well furnished house, with loads of comfort and with the world watching your every move 24/7. Blink for just a second at the difference in PRIZE MONEY between the BEST STUDENT IN ONE OF THE TOUGHEST SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA, and the PRIZE MONEY for the MOST LIKED BBNaija Housemate in just three month!

Processed meat
This is considered to be any meat which has been modified in order to improve it's taste. Meats such as sausages and hot dogs can age you because it contains high level of sulphites used in preserving the meat. It irritates and inflammates the skin.

Sugar 
Sugar is the generic name for sweet. Sugar is very bad for the teeth because it provides easily digestible energy for the bad bacteria in the mouth. Too much sugar in your diet will cause an insulin overload that would affect the blood vessels and cause acceleration that might age the skin.

Trans fat 
Trans fats are found in foods like margarine and fast foods that can cause the arteries to clog. It can lead to different health problems that can also cause ageing.

Few days ago, my short story went up about Modern Day Slavery- The House Girl Trend. And today, a more severe form of slavery has been brought to our attention- The Slaves being sold in Libya by our fellow “black men. The topic seems to be one that should have been brought to the world's notice a long time ago as some news sources, such as CNN had recently done.

The extremity of the situation is such that people of all ages are falling victims of this harsh condition (slavery). But the question is, how did this all start? How is it that Libya has so many people from several nations becoming available for sale in their country?

The answer is quite simple, coming from the mouth of Amnesty International; USA Managing Director of Government Relations Adotei Akwei who says;

"that the crisis is badly exacerbated by the migration policies of the EU, which have sought to block refugees from making it to Europe, thus creating a logjam of highly vulnerable people in places like Libya."

For those of who us who are familiar with traveling overseas and having to make several plane stops, you’ll understand what the quote means. It's just like having to travel to the United States by Air from Nigeria and there are different countries that you can get a few hours stop at, before making your way to the U.S. One of such countries is England, especially the Heathrow Airport. So many people, millions of people, have passed through that airport to reach several parts of the world by Air. And that's exactly what Libya should have been for those thousands of folks who tried to make their way to Europe by Sea, only for them to be captured and sold off into slavery.

It's gotten much worse that those auctions for the slaves are happening wide in the open within Libyan communities, without the need to hide. And many of our Nigerian brothers who tried to reach Europe via Libya have been made slaves.

If things were much better in Nigeria, if our economy was promising, if our education and degrees meant something in this country, then we wouldn't have to go through such harsh conditions to get to a better place, like Europe. Unfortunately for these Nigerians, Europe may not be in need of them after all, hence the reason why they become trapped in Libya for slavery.

Everyone is Familiar with what a Python is.

Pythons are one of the largest snakes.

OMG! What am I doing?? talking about snakes?

Snakes scare the living daylight out of me but that doesn't mean I shouldn't read up and educate you guys.

Anyways moving on, unlike many other snake species, Pythons don’t produce venom - they are non-venomous snakes.
They live in the tropical areas of Africa and Asia. They can be found in rainforests, savannas and deserts.
A lot of people keep them as pets but they don’t attack humans, unless they are provoked or stressed.

Below are some interesting Python Facts:

1. Pythons are constrictors which means they're not venomous and they kill their prey by squeezing them until they stop breathing.
2. After they kill an animal, they will swallow it in one piece.
3. Everything except fur and feathers will be digested. Undigested material can be found in the python’s poop.
4. Size of the prey determines the time needed for digestion. Bigger prey can keep the snake satiated for weeks or months. Pythons eat 4-5 times per year.

The public affairs director of the Ghana police, David Eklu revealed that what Shatta Wale did in the video could amount to an offence.

I know this is the part when I'm meant to tell you that Nude photos can also be said to be art that has as its primary subject the unclothed human body.

Wait! did I just end up defining it?? silly me.

Anyways moving on, I know I'm not the only one who questions if the whole essence of photographers having Naked shoots is art or simply madness. I did a bit of research and decided to toss briefly 5 facts about Nude Photos and just like me you can decide to catch them or let them fly so the inner anger towards nudes keeps burning.

I know you can see the facts in the air, so briefly I will list them out for you;

1. Nude is a tradition in Western art and also a subject genre of art.
2. It was a central preoccupation of Ancient Greek art.
