Why would a prayer I am saying in tongues to God need interpretation?

A word of knowledge or prophecy delivered in tongues would need interpretation so that the congregation can understand the message.

But praying in tongues is distinct from that and needs no interpretation. It is a personal and direct prayer to God under the unction of the Holy Spirit.

Why would you need to speak in tongue to The Most High? Yahweh is all knowing and understanding he isn't confusion and gibberish.

Its the Holyspirit that reveals the interpolation of tongues to man's spirit. Its never stated we shouldn't speak in tongues cos there's no interpretation. Even Apostle Paul Said it that he speaks in tongues more than yea all. And the essence of speaking in tongues is for the edification of the speaker.

Paul spoke several languages(tongues), the whole essence of speaking in tongues is to convince the non-believers, so what would be the point in speaking in tongues when the non-believers can't understand a word you say? There must be someone to explain the message.

Sweetheart he didn't say all churches he said most of the Pentecostal churches. I use to attend a Pentecostal church and the pastor cut out speaking in tongues because so many people were faking and interrupting the service.

The Freeze guy is only quoting what it said in the Bible, he isn't adding nor taking away from the scriptures. It isn't just Nigerian Pentecostal Churches, I'm in the U.S. and the same thing happens in some of the churches here.

You can't speak gibberish and call it speaking in tongue, tongue is language and the bible clearly states that someone has to interpret the language. Yahweh is not confusing, he wants us to understand.

Also there are a whole lot of fake pastors in the world who cheat and lie to the people, being a pastor is just another hustle to them.
