Majority of us telling you our views are not just end users but laptop technician with over 15 years experience. If you're really keen about dv 6000 then go for INTEL but I guess you've paid for the laptop already.

if the flickering happens when you tilt the top enclosure where the screen is then I can say it is the flex but if not it is the screen provided you connect the laptop to external monitor and it works . look for a laptop technician to diagnose it and if you're in lagos call or chat me up on 08023745242 for a fair bargain.

@op... base on my personal assessment overtime I strongly don't like dv6000 except if it's INTEL and not AMD. it's one of the "useless" model of hp that was ever manufactured. I'll advice you run away from it.

@op... it's either you get the original license key for #7,000 or you use activator to activate it and remove it from auto update with services.msc command. chat me up on 08023745242 for solutions to any of these.
