Haba mana. No goal scored was her fault na. There is no keeper stopping any goal Ashleigh scored. The 2 shots were put in the far corner and the setpiece was a point blank goal.

The goals weren’t her fault? So you mean no other good female goalkeeper would have saved that? Are you kidding me?

Rewatch the video and then look closely at oluehi’s positioning and reactions. There wasn’t any attempt, she just stood like a log of wood! Goalkeeper with experience o!

Can someone please confirm if Oluehi plays for free, cus what is that atrocious goalkeeping? No reflexes or attempts at saving the ball for the first two goals and when she eventually does, she’s slower than a nail.. ewwww

Omor the girly good sha but short small body frame Players nor really da freak me except you da exceptionally good..

For her to be listed as No.11 Freshman in the whole of US College definitely means she’s good.. 11games 1 goals and 8 Assists..

Players with her stature tend to be very technical especially with their low center of gravity

Think Hazard, Messi, Veratti, Gavi or even Linda Caicedo and Lauren James to mention a few

Point out the sentiment or forever hold ur peace

I thought about it, in fact i typed it, but later deleted it cus, what do I want to say again that lovewins and the others haven’t? And you’re still going on and on like someone who was paid to do this.

There’s no point cus it’ll be like talking to a wall. Even the GOAT Marta still playing professionally in a top league stepped aside from the national side but Onome is the one that should give birth to grandchildren in the national team just because she can.

Continue. I have enough popcorn to enjoy the circus.

When u don't agree with Randy u always make excuses. Now you want me to believe that america selects players who are useless to their success. Rapino gets flack for her political views and not her play. The average American doesn't even care about soccer, they just want them to lose because of her mouth. She was one of the best players at the last World Cup so why wouldn't she get a shot at this one? Same with Morgan who was heavy on equal pay. Their quality clearly kept them on the team. If it were up to their federation they would be long gone.

If those players were so honorable why didn't they retire at 29 years like Oparanozie That's the honorable thing to do, at that age they had probably played more than her with the national team so why didn't they retire and give the younger ones a chance?

2 years U don't have to resort to lies. Onome played in Belarus for a whole season with Regina Otu. Moved at the end and joined a la liga club. Things didn't work out and she left during the middle of the season. Of course she is thinking that another foreign club would show up so by the time she gave the NWFL a thought we had like 4 games until the Super 6 and there was no real use since the club she was going to join was not going to be there.

She could have stayed at the Belarus level but she decided to challenge herself with such a tough league. If this situation happens to a player u like ur tone will be different.

This has sentiment written all over it, thought you were bigger than this my man.

she chose Money over Morals.

I’ll always have a problem with this school of thought. Will morals feed her and take care of her bills? It might be harder for the men’s game but the women’s game is just not shelling out enough money to make players stay in Europe.

Behind her decision—and that of every other player moving to Saudi—all the way!

Where's the criticism?

I was tryna make a general statement, didn’t mean that you were criticizing her. I should have worded it better.

Wow! I know that this is a short video and not the French First division, but I'm very impressed, I love her confidence. She's very young too. I'll like for her to be invited to the Super Falcons so she can be assessed.

As for this argument, unless you’re new to the world of football, you don’t make a conclusion on a player based on highlights, no matter how long it is. Every player has their highlights where they’re looking like the best thing since sliced bread and she’s not different.

Also, people saying she should replace Demehin have no solid ground for that. You don’t get handed your place in the NT, you earn it! Demehin has done so, let Maureen earn her place too.

And if she’s a good as the hype, it won’t be long before she makes the move to a better club. As for now, she has a long way to go to replace her counterpart.

lovewins, I know you’re different from me but I’m definitely not one to reply or engage dimwits. I know an intelligent person when I see one and he’s not worth wasting your time on or attempting to educate.

His brain is filled with insults, not logic. Just leave him be and add him to the list of the blackisted monikers on the thread. Everytime he extorts a reaction from you, it’s a win for him. Don’t give him or his brothers that.

wow...cement her place? someone that has been back to back top scorer for the team. the only hiccups she had was caused by injury. She has been a vert integral part....in fact a dominant part of the team.

The kind of opinions on this thread can be stupendously funny...laced with biases and prejudice

Empty barrels always make the loudest noise. Anyone who follows Barca women knows she’s always in and out of the team for various reasons and it’s rare she gets a long run of matches in the starting position.

You can change your moniker a million times but you can’t change your thought process or your limited vocabulary. We know who you are, internet warrior.

we will see how smart he is, in a few. You can make some quick dough by being infamous, but eventually burnt bridges catch up to you. Fool looks young and just plain stupid tbh

I don’t see it as that big of a deal to warrant bridges being burnt though. Unless he takes if further and doesn’t keep going with the controversial comments.

Exactly what I anticipated will happen. Borja Iglesias and Iker Casillas speaking up is just the beginning. Many more will likely speak up and board members will be pressured to change position. He was dumb not to resign.

If this confirms anything, it’s that this scandal is a cultural thing in their federation. It’s rooted deep into the administration and their higher ups are all in on it.

When the incident happened earlier with Vilda, the coach, he and his cohorts in the federation claimed it was manhunt. Same thing the president too is now claiming but it’s just evidence that the players were right. And it’s a big big problem for Spanish football.

If the president is sexually harassing players or staff publicly, why would the coach be embarrassed or afraid of losing his job when he does the same thing in camera? Thankfully, the whole world saw how this one happened and it’s not the players’ word against the federation like before so they can’t be gagged or ostracized.
