First, I didn’t dispel the credibility of his injury or anything like that. In that game though, TJ was having a better game and was sat in the fourth for him. Rick must’ve asked him if he could go before putting him on so yeah, he was injured but he still wanted to play and he did at the expense of a fitter TJ. You can’t eat your cake and have it.

And I feel you guys aren't really appreciating this guy well...firstly he is a PASS FIRST guard!! He's not a natural scorer more like a natural playmaker..ditto CP3, Rondo, Trae...so expecting him to score bunches of points a game isn't his thing...if you want to go ham on him on anything then focus on his assists output or his team +- efficiency when he is on or off the court or how many 3pts attempts they make with or without him on the court..
For the past couple of years Hali has been in the top 3 assist chart! Does that seem like someone that's a bum?!

Also, remember when I said if we try to mention his scoring, you people will always remind us he’s a pass first guy?

Trae Young led the league in both scoring and assists in 21/22. CP3 scored 20+ and was top 3 in assists as well in the past. Both pass first guys. Who says you can’t pass and score especially if your team needs it from you as well?

I’m not saying go bonkers and drop 30+ every night. But he’s in the NBA finals, how many chances of that do you get? As I attributed to earlier, he’s long, can shoot from 3, has a floater, can finish at the rim so if for those six or seven games, if you can just give a bit more in terms of scoring to help your team win the chip, I believe you should and not hide behind ‘pass-first’. You won’t get the opportunity to stink the first 3 quarters and snatch the game with the last shot everytime, especially not against this OKC.

And if you get triggered by the word ‘Halibum’, that’s on you to get familiar with banter names.

Oh and yeah, i understand the criticism thing and I guess it's primarily cos we kinda do expect more from him considering he's a #1 option on an NBA team thats in the NBA FINALS!

The angle of my whole argument stems from the superstar shouts and all the hype. When you claim to be one, you should be prepared to take all that comes with it. When my dear Ant Man turned to Cantman vs the OKC, I and virtually everyone accepted he met his match and couldn’t do anything so the onus is on him to get even better next season to overcome his conference finals hurdle. You can’t be a superstar when you hit game winning shots and be a pass-first guy when you gba. Long story short, to whom much is given…

From the looks of things whether he plays or not tomorrow he won't be 100% fit so I guess it's fair to say no G7 even tho I think most neutrals would love that as well.

Now, if he’s not fit enough play, he should not o. If he comes and stinks again, I no wan hear say he’s a pass first guy or e no dey fit. You can either go or not and when you go, you’re taking a spot on the team so you’re expected to perform.

I do not agree with Stephen A on a lot of things but one thing I very much agree with is Halibum is not a superstar.

I’m not getting tickets worth hundreds of $ on a weekday or weekend to watch Halibum play. And when we mention his inconsistency, they defend him with ‘He’s a pass first player’ but that model of player isn’t leading his team to a ring. Steve Nash, John Stockton, J Kidd earlier in his career, and whoever you want to call couldn’t do it. Halibum ain’t doing it without upping his scoring and becoming more aggressive.

He’s long and a good rim finisher so I’m baffled as to why he doesn’t drive more to the basket. It took until Game 4 for him to take his first and only free throws so far in the freaking NBA finals!

Unless he consistently maintains that 20+ PPG level, to go with his distribution, he’s not ready so keep him out of those superstar convos.

I just want to say, I love basketball in its fairest form, competition without injuries. I wish JT and Curry quick recovery more than anything. Also, I was wrong about the Celtics, I don't hate them. I dislike them even though some of my best gees have played for them, Kemba, Irving, Rondo and Jaylen Brown. I dont hate Celtics. It's the pacers, I HATE. I have never liked anyone playing for that franchise. Not a single one. This current set is the most disgusting to me. That entire team is filled with creeps, (My own bias o. Make una leave me). So the wager is on any team that would wipe the smirk off Myles Turner's face. Haliburton's dad also doesn't get to taunt my guy Giannis and go jeer about a championship. Whichever team gets to the ECF or the finals, they should make sure they cut those arseholes down to size.

I do share your sentiments too about the pacers. I don’t like any of their current set of players safe for Siakam. Something about them gets me annoyed when I watch them

So yes, there is a correlation between the blood clot and the Achilles tear.

Lol the blood clot is a non contact injury. Whether he rested or not, anything that would happen would happen. Bucks are not even one that rushes their players back
