Also, people saying she should replace Demehin have no solid ground for that. You don’t get handed your place in the NT, you earn it! Demehin has done so, let Maureen earn her place too.

And if she’s a good as the hype, it won’t be long before she makes the move to a better club. As for now, she has a long way to go to replace her counterpart.

If this confirms anything, it’s that this scandal is a cultural thing in their federation. It’s rooted deep into the administration and their higher ups are all in on it.

When the incident happened earlier with Vilda, the coach, he and his cohorts in the federation claimed it was manhunt. Same thing the president too is now claiming but it’s just evidence that the players were right. And it’s a big big problem for Spanish football.

If the president is sexually harassing players or staff publicly, why would the coach be embarrassed or afraid of losing his job when he does the same thing in camera? Thankfully, the whole world saw how this one happened and it’s not the players’ word against the federation like before so they can’t be gagged or ostracized.

You're not making the argument you think you're making. Respectfully Salma and Gift are in different worlds.

First, Salma is 19 and like Caicedo there are exceptions and not the rule. How many of her mates are in the world cup? For her to have been selected it means she's simply worlds apart from her colleagues.

She didn't just get a free pass to the team, she's a regular part of the best women's football team in that world. She's won the u17 and u20 world cup. She's won the La Liga and the champions League. She's not just anybody. She plays in the same league as Gift. Please compare their stats. Put them side by side and see who's better. Also, she doesn't even get to start. She's come in as sub in both games she scored.

Second, Vicky Lopez is the best u17 player ok the world, she didn't because of that her taken to the world cup because there are simply better players that play her role. Funny thing is, had some of the 12 players who opted out because of the coach been considered, maybe Salma wouldn't have even made the team.

We shouldn't take exceptional players and use them as points of comparison to ours. By the way, Demehin is from the same class and played every game at the world cup. Use as next time when comparing.

Onome Ebi during an Instagram Live a few days ago said she hasn't ruled out going for the next world cup. She says she's currently the only one positioned to go to 7 world cups (male or female) as every other person she's currently tied with has retired. Exactly the team was set up to defend. And that is why we are so hard to beat. We shouldn't be thinking of setting up ourselves like USA, and other offensive European nations, if not we will be playing like south Africa because we cannot match them for now.
But we can become more brutal in our defense and work better on counter. When we play in Africa we can develop and explore offensive styles that suit the basic background of our defensive team.
I enjoy the fact that we don't concede goals, it is very relaxing for me. And we can work on little errors of the opponent to punish them like our third goal against Australia.

Now this is a welcome opinion. Instead of criticizing, let’s look at our deficiencies and how we can improve them. We are better than we used to be even if it’s not by a long mile, next objective is to break the mound and go even further!

Ajibade is a culprit, wants to Okocha everybody, Alozie too sometimes is culpable, Demehin is the leader, Bar Payne and Echegini (who I’m surprised Tandy didn’t use more), our midfielders can’t really pass the ball.
