The crazy thing here now is even if they improve on this performance in the second half… you can’t guarantee they won’t repeat it in the next match.

And in the next match, a better opposition awaits. One that will pounce on our mistakes mercilessly

I don't know if it's strategy but the girls are looking rather too complacent and nervous.

Abeg better link o. We should be careful abeg. The commentary is equally biased against us. Fouls against us are seen as nothing. They foul Alozie say she's capable of such physicality. Fahey foul oshoala with intent, they say such moments occur in the game where high boots unintentionally catch players. Na God save Oshoala there say she jump.

I'm pissed we have to hear this for 3 games.

This isn’t funny in a funny way

I like the way they’re able to stifle opponents and not allow the a lot of space but there’s nothing else you’ll be able to do attacking wise if you can’t hold the ball

Too many misplaced passes as well

This one is mental o. Is it your money? Or you think everyone has empty pockets or poor mentality like yours?

People earn good money and cus of so, spend good money on themselves and their needs eg gadgets. Get a life and stop embarrassing yourself on someone’s case.

We need to start holding the ball like mancity. Sitting at the back without the ball all the time won't take us anywhere

No problem, you just need get Rodri, Ruben Dias, Ake and you’re good to go

I really hope so too, but It looked like an ACL...An Anterior drawer test was performed by the medics on the field and it looked like it was positive just from watching because her tibia was displaced forward in relation to her femur.

It couldn't be a meniscus or worse an Unhappy triad injury because there was no contact....her feet was firmly planted on the turf with her upper leg displaced backward while stretching to reach a pass.

Given there's no update yet, I'm thinking there's still a lot of swelling on the knee joint and a scan can't be performed to determine if it's a partial or complete tear.

Omo, these medical oyinbo wey you type plenty

Onumonu can't press? This has to be a big joke.

Even at her worst. You can take pressing away from her. That's her biggest plus. A striker that tackles better than 99% of players. Why do even think Randy likes her?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I can’t seem to find any stat here related to pressing on this sheet you posted

England is good, but nothing they've done the last 2 games is reason enough for us to want to avoid them. Against Haiti, they were fortunate to win via a penalty goal and the recklessness of the Haitians in front of goal. Their goal against Denma right now is cause they were allowed too much space which Lauren James took advantage of. They've really not had clear cut chances with all the spaces then Danish team has afforded them. They won't get this much space against Nigeria with the way we are set up. They should also try to avoid us too.

Lol. Doesn’t make them any easy to play against fgs! These are the European champions who have only lost one of their last 33 games! But ok.. nothing special

Which wings?

Chicken wings or...

Imagine. Because she’s able to hold her own at left back, she should be moved to the wings. Someone who isn’t even a natural at left back and is more about the defending than attacking part should be moved to a position of mostly attacking. Recipe for disaster.

The conversation started before today's match; I was not making reference to today's performance.

Oga Ajibade was experiencing poor form in the last 5matvhes or so for the Falcons prior to today.

I’d advise you not to respond to everything you see. Once you’re not able to convince people, leave them be with their opinions. It’s for your own peace of mind.

I think she should be eased off with or without Waldrum.

Okobi, Oshoala, Ebi, Orderga should all go.

Then Ohale should be slowly eased off while Oshoala should have just one world cup or just one African WC. Seriously, the new kids should be eased in or we suffer the same thing when the team had to be almost totally recreated in 2000

Oshoala should go? You don’t have rope you’ll use to drag her? Omo, people sef.

Ok, who’s her replacement? At least it’s arguable that the others you mentioned have their replacements at the ready, who’s Oshoala’s replacement?

CONGRATULATIONS 👏🎇👍

WOMAN OF THE MATCH.

OHALE OSINACHI

SHE GAVE INN HER ALL. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU LEGEND🇳🇬♥️🦅

Later someone here will say she always balloon the ball forward

Actually she does. She’s no ball playing defender by any means rather she’s an old school no-nonsense type whose first instinct is to clear the danger first and think about any other thing later. But that doesn’t take away the fact that she’s one hell of a defender who’ll gladly put her body on the line on both ends of the pitch.

You guys don't realise the impact Randy has had on this team. This is the most defensively disciplined Super Falcons in history. Do you know what it means to concede 14 corners (this is minus free kicks o) and we didn't concede a goal? We conceded on the 15th or 16th corner and no thanks to the ref.

I'm amazed

Okay.. let’s chill now, don’t spoil it
