I read the article and agree with most things the writer said except that I don't want Sheggs kicked out of the show, even as much I'm sure he has narcissistic tendencies. This is reality TV and it's showcasing real life issues. Sheggs and Bella's relationship are a lot of people's realities.

I'm happy that this show is in its purest form and without a lot of producer manipulation as we see in some other reality TV. As a social experiment that BBN is, all has to be showcased, the good the bad and the ugly. When I wrote about Sheggs and the narcissistic traits I spotted in week 2, I ended the writeup saying that I wanted people to learn from it. Some people who don't know why their spouses or boyfriends and girlfriends behave the way they do, can spot some similarities and further educate themselves on what is truly going on and absolving themselves of the guilt of thinking they might have been the problem or brought it upon themselves. I wish I knew what I knew now years ago, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. So imagine my joy that this TV show is on real time educating thousands and millions of people on what is not okay in relationships and having discourses and tweets in that regard. A win win in my opinion.

Long story short, I'm not in support of anyone calling for Sheggs head. He's integral part of the show and added something to the show this season I hadn't seen in previous seasons. People now know and talk about emotional abuse I truly believe a whole lot of people learnt something and something that we rarely talk about or relegate to the back seat is now being brought to the forefront of our consciousness thanks to Sheggs

I don like Sheggz at all, character-wise esp his abusive tendency but then, Bella is not a child, she can see the clear handwriting on the wall, she can always leave. Why is she staying? She isn’t married to him, what exactly does she stand to gain? She cannot tell me that she loves him that much, common, it’s only two months.

Abusive people thrive with the help an enabler, that is their victims, a man verbally abuse you and all you do is cry, he begs you and the cycle continues, will he ever realize he is doing anything wrong? Bella has her blame too.


On the flip side , we have been talking about Shella and their toxic relationship, but most of you on the team say it’s not a big deal, afterall, many girls condemning the relationship go through worse with their men then we asked “ should we absolve the toxicity simply because others go through it as well?”
