This is one of the reasons I wasn't so quick to drag him, background and society play major roles in who and what we become but there's a yoruba proverb loosely translated as "after being born, we're to rebirth ourselves". This isn't Segun's first case of emotional abuse, why didn't he seek help then? Why didn't he try to be a better version of himself? Let's say he didn't know better because he was younger. What of now that the things he did to someone he claims to love in less than three months of being together are shown to him but he's here defending his actions?
