The mobile tv headset works only for symbian^3 devices: n8,c7,c6-01, ,the SU-33w tv receiver works for 5800.

@house,can someone confirm for me if e63 is compatible with SU-33w receiver?

I've downloaded and installed the Mobile TV app for S^3 devices.Thing connects with receiver but doesn't pick any channels.Keeps on searching but the white light on the receiver has not blinked for once.
Still trying to find out why.

this is outrageous,they must be jokers.30k to purchase a wired item? when less than 15k wuld get me the standard decoder fixed and installed.besides i checked the price for the tv headset somewhere it wasnt more than 7-8k in naira after conversion.they can sell it to there staffs,i would get it somewhere else.RIDICULOUS!!!

yep,done dat but it didnt work.it dint launch @all,guess its not compatible with symbian^3 devices.even before the compatible live tv app launched,had to upgrade the OS to pr1.1.so painful if @d end it wont really work with the SU-33w because have seen on some forum where the guy said his SU-33w works with N8.

before committing money to the head set receiver, be sure that dstv had fixed the bug. Am almost certain that this current problem will also affect your c7 with headset, as the problem is not really with su-33w per say but probably compatibility issue with dstv mobile with regard to some phone models.

hmm nice advice,buh i think the problem is from the transmitting point not the receiving device.there have been so many issues degrading dstv performance in nigeria for the past few months but the good news is they are working hard to get it back to top shape.

My phone is a nokia C7 but ma tv receiver isnt working with it,its not scanning completely for the channels.thats SU-33w.
wanna know where i can get the mobile tv headset,since the SU-33w isnt working.

i just purchased the tv receiver but it doesnt work wit ma phone (n95 - updated firmware).am looking for a trade off of ma phone wit a compatible nokia phone like x6, any one interested can mail :bizzyelectron@gmail.com.

I can't scan for DSTV channels on my Nokia 5330, have tried several times but it gives msg 'channels not found'. Is it faulty or something. Pls anyone wit useful information to advise me.

Delete all channels n let it rescan.
after that is done,purchase n wait for it to receive the subscription.the channels should start showing.
if it doesnt show then try this.go to settings n do a restore settings only,if it ask for passcode type 12345 or any unlock pass u changed it to.after restoring the settings to the default one,launch d mobile tv it scans for the channels automatically.
purchase it after scanning then wait for d subscription to be received.sometimes u need to av up to #200 before it can work.make a note of that.n also do d scanning in a location where d 3G is stable n fast.it retrieves ur subscription faster in a good 3G location.

The channels have been on and off over the last three days. I am not getting any value for my money on this phone. My favourite channel SS 3 is not available again. How can DSTV/ MTN replace it wit SS 7 that shows car race, swimming and boxing, what will I be doing wit these kind of sports.
PLEASE MTN BRING BACK MY S.S 3 SO I CAN BE WATCHING LIVE PREMIERSHIP MATCHES!

The reason am aware of is dat SS3 needs to be upgraded (to what is what i dont know) but am guessing if SS3 remains on mobile,more subscribers would go for a lesser bouquet n that means lesser profits for Multichoice.

Get a Glo modem,install the software so the settings would be installed automatically.now try the E170 fastlink on d glo software, if it doesnt work,you need to fast n pray harder maybe there would be a supernatural solution to the problem.

i gat one of dis mf627 modem from a friend,he ad gotten it hacked before i gat it so d drivers for d modem was corrupted.i did some online searches n upgraded d modem using d 3connect upgrader.it resolved it n was working fine.but it changed d firmware to d 3connect instead of mtn fastlink.but just input d settings manually for d network u wanna use.voila.working perfectly.d speed is incredible especially on 3.5g mtn.
