The thing is for the very connected
Not in all cases my guy,I knew of a boy then the Dad was selling okrika at agboju market near festac, though a brilliant chap, the guy wrote NDA went for screening and eventually succeeded when he was coming home on holidays the whole Street in old ojo road came well coming, the Mum dey sell akara then, last I heard of him,he is a Major and has changed the status of the parents also I knew of another guy too at my cousin place at okoko,he attended ajangbadi high school in afromedia area also a bookish guy,he is now a naval office now in navy town, yes most are connections but when the screening board sees one that is exceptional, they bend rules and consider.

Family / Re: Should I Allow My Mother-in-law In Our Home? I Need Advice by Kiemutex: 1:42pm On Mar 29, 2023
This write up remind me of my cousin,a nice guy doing well In the country before he relocated to South Africa, along the while he came back pick his wife and had kids over there,he do tell me then and I quote,"I love my wife pass my mama"I do caution him guy you have to be very careful with women, the love you are receiving is cos you are financially stable and a big boy,not quite long he move his mother in-law and a sibling to join them abroad, before you know it guy went broke, ran home to naija and went back to his mother house he barely cater for,the so called wife with the advice from her mother start doing runs with some yahoo guys,my cousin nearly ran mad,the family have to stand by him and was advised to let go since the wife has chosen such path.

verifiablefacts:
Have this at the back of your mind,no one would ever love you more than your mother.
this was exactly words I told a cousin of mine few years back when he made a statement that I love my wife more than my mother,he eventually saw the bitter side of life when his biz crumbled and the so called wife started messing around with some big boys in the neighbourhood,he nearly ran mad but now getting on his feet.
Family / Re: I Saw A Dead Family Friend Two Years Later by Kiemutex: 2:17am On Oct 29, 2022
During the flood season of 2012,my Dad got injured in the process, just minor injuries but didn't survived it,after the burial rites at the village we all went back to our various destinations,my Dad phone and lines were still maintained cos of his business transactions, contacts and bank alert by my mum,one cool afternoon a childhood friend of my Dad called his line and was speaking angrily that why will my Dad walk past him near a market in ughelli town,my mum was like what's wrong with this fellow,so she handed over the phone to me to answer him and was speaking that I should give the phone to my Dad that he needs to answer him why he didn't stop and acknowledge his presence while in a public place,I just told him your guy is dead like a month ago and buried,he was screaming on the other end I have to cut the phone not to betray my emotions,my mum was already in tears that's what I tried to avoid.
The next day the friend came to our house to see things himself, that's when it dawned on him that it's true my father is late but he kept saying but I saw him life and was starring at me until he disappeared into the crowd.such things happens but nobody have a perfect explanation of such occurrence.

Celebrities / Re: “I Love My Wife More Than My Mother” – Toyin Abraham’s Husband, Kolawale Ajeyemi by Kiemutex: 2:03pm On Feb 19, 2022
When the going is good and man is in love, he will make such a statement however when the tide of life sets in then it will be a different ball game. Years ago my cousin made such a statement, guy was doing so great here until they both relocated abroad, had beautiful kids over there but things changed, they all came back to naija, the said wife he was bragging that he loves more than the mother left him and she started flexing with the big boys, he was so depressed that almost have mental issues but now has recovered though he wife is back to her senses and trying to come back to him. Mother's love can never be compared to a wife cos as a man if certain conditions are not met, one can't handle a wife, but a mother is always by you no matter what.

Politics / Re: If My Mother Is Igbo, Can I Claim And Contest For Governorship In Her State by Kiemutex: 1:57pm On Aug 19, 2021
Sunday Peter from Adamawa state precisely Guyuk LGA was a former speaker in the state but his father is from yoruba but has intergrated so well in politics of the state however he couldn't get mandate for second tenure as that was used against him, he did so well that the people are now regretting voting for an indigenous person, i served there few years back as a corp member.
