The rate at which young children and men go into Internet frauds is very alarming. They are supposed to be the future of our nation but here they are damaging their future and by extension posing risk to the nation. It's good they're paying for the crimes they committed, these guys are heartless and wicked. I don't wish them well but our clueless leaders are also part of why they're patronizing internet fraud.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Man Given Suspended Jail Sentence For Sending Abusive Emails To Biden And Sunak by Kikilordkiki70: 9:09pm On May 11
A suspended jail term, also known as a suspended sentence, is a legal term that means a person has been convicted of a crime and sentenced to a term of imprisonment, but the sentence is not carried out immediately. Instead, the sentence is "suspended" or put on hold, and the person is allowed to remain in the community under certain conditions.

Here are some key points to understand about suspended jail terms:

- The person has been found guilty of a crime and sentenced to a specific term of imprisonment (e.g., 12 months).
- The sentence is suspended for a specified period (e.g., 2 years).
- During this time, the person must comply with certain conditions, such as:
- Community service
- Probation
- Counseling or treatment
- Curfews or restrictions on movement
- Regular check-ins with a probation officer
- If the person complies with all conditions and does not commit any further offenses during the suspension period, the sentence will be considered served, and they will not have to go to jail.
- If they fail to comply with the conditions or commit another offense, the suspension can be revoked, and they will be required to serve the original sentence in jail.

Suspended jail terms are often used to give people a chance to rehabilitate and make amends for their crimes without serving time in prison, while still holding them accountable for their actions.
Politics / Re: FG Approves Downward Review Of Tariff For Band A Electricity Consumers by Kikilordkiki70: 8:21am On May 07
One thing I've noticed with this government is, at initial times, they will deliberately implement the very very harsh policy and then on the people's outcry, it will be reviewed to a very harsh one. Quite mundane, very repetitive and boring.

A lot of frauds are being perpetuated by customers of all these online wallets and banks. There's need for thorough implementation of the KYC policy.

By the way, how do I get my comment to front page? That's the reason I don't comment, I just like and pass.

Oh, I guess it worked. It could have been poor network all these while.
