Yoruba actress, Lepa Shandy has revealed how she survived losing two or three pregnancies.

The actress who is now 47-years-old, spoke about how she overcame that episode of her life, during a chat with punchng.com.

Speaking on how she was able to survive losing two or three pregnancies at some point in her life, Lepa Shandy noted that she had people around her to encourage her.

“I have a gift from God; I take things as they come. When I lost those pregnancies, I felt bad considering my age at the time. I’ll be 48 years old in March. I lost two or three pregnancies; I always had people around me who encouraged me. The thought about it being spiritual came to me but I prayed and I went to the hospital to check myself to make sure I was okay.

Kenya’s High Court has postponed a ruling on whether to scrap laws which criminalize homosexuality, citing a heavy case load.

Friday’s announcement of a delay was met with dismay by Kenya’s LGBT community and their allies, who have been anxiously awaiting a ruling on the petition, which was filed three years ago.

Chacha Mwita, one of the judges, said the files are above his height, adding that one of his colleagues was on leave and other members of the three-judge bench were juggling multiple cases.

Chacha Mwita set the decision for May 24.

“We plan to meet in April if all goes well and see whether we can come up with a decision. You do not appreciate what the judges are going through.”

ASUU has suspended its nationwide strike, after three months of industrial action.

According to Channels Television, the National President of the union, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, announced this on Thursday during a press briefing at the Nigeria Labour Congress complex in Abuja.

The striking lecturers took the decision after a meeting with representatives of the Federal Government led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige.

TVC has earlier reported that, the federal government and the striking University teachers have finally signed an agreement, raising hope of an end to the three months old strike.

The meeting came hours before Professor Ogunyemi announced the decision of ASUU to suspend the strike.

A young man identified as, Ifeanyi Owoh, has been arrested in Lagos state for attempting to rob a businessman in Lagos state.

This was revealed in a statement from the state police command spokesperson, Chike Oti, which said that on Tuesday January 22nd at about 15.30hrs, along Billings way, Oregun, Lagos, policemen who were on a motorbike on street patrol duty, sighted two men.

The policemen then approached the men for routine check, but rather than subject themselves to security scrutiny, they took to their heels.

The police riders chased after the fleeing men and arrested one of them.

During a brief interrogation, Ifeanyi Owoh narrated that their mission in the industrial estate was to rob a business man who they learnt was in town for a transaction with a notable automobile company in the area.

One locally made pistol, three live cartridges and a dagger were recovered from the suspect.

The police also made it known that efforts are on to arrest his fleeing accomplice while the apprehended suspect would be charged to court soon.

Argentine publication Ole has now released audio WhatsApp messages reportedly sent by Sala to close friends while aboard the plane.

A Nigerian man, Odjugo Solace has lamented on Twitter after Jumia sold him a refurbished laptop in place of new.

Odjugo Solace took to the popular social media to reveal that he bought a ‘new’ laptop from the online store for almost N200k only to discover from the manufacturers that it was refurbished.

According to him, the battery and the fan of the laptop has stopped working, and on contacting Jumia, they said he has exceeded the 7 day return policy.
