Omo my week don set like this, congrats to us culers, Quarterfinals since 2020 after all these last painful years, even if they give us the baddest in the game on Friday and we get knocked out, I'll take solace in the fact we've achieved our minimum target this season and we can build on it, Many didn't even believe we'll qualify out of our group this season

Oriol Romeu nearly cost us again with so much carelessness on possession
End of season let's just include him in the deal to get Alexix Garcia, I can't believe someone that graduated from lamasia, played in girona can be so clumsy in possession, let's just hope Christensen doesn't get injured anytime soon

Odd feeling for Nigerian Culers that the player who is most likely to end Barca's run in the UCL and make them unhappy is a Nigerian player who has made them happy the most and who we want to see succeed - Osimhen.

Whatever the result, we still lose.
Of course osimhen is our national hero atm but he's already bigger than that Napoli team even if they knock out can we see them realistically getting into the semis I'm not saying we will ourselves but some football fans except our haters of course will still expect us to fight and give a good competition because of our name and history, I'm just saying Napoli isn't sufficient for Osimhen again

Today, we go into the most important match of the season so far, with all our hopes on a 16 year old to make the difference.

God!
I don't know why but I feel we will win. Yes we've been poor in the UCL for a long time and virtually almost all our midfielders are gone but maybe the boys will play with heart tonight considering the fact it's new territory for some of them and we'll have a full house for the game since all tickets are sold out
Napoli's attack is also currently better than ours IMO but I'll also take a little solace in their defence not being as potent as last season

The efforts hansi flick is putting to get this Barca job is out of this world

I pray they give him the job and not all these de zebra nonsense I am hearing
Omo na nagelsmann I prefer though he won't be available for the early part of our pre season especially if Germany go far in the competition, I respect flick's hustle in trying to secure the job but I still get small doubts about him not handling a super team other than Bayern, na my two candidates for the job Sha but make we dey look

Arda Güler is definitely talented, though I have never watched him play but he'll have more issues next season when Mbappe comes in. He's already struggling with game time now. It'll be much worse for him next season.

As for your comparison with Lamine Yamal. I don't see any comparison here. Why the kid is getting all the attention is because he's a homegrown talent and he's still 16. Arda Güler is 3 years older than Lamine and he is not homegrown.
They think they're trolling but these guys are unconsciously making lamine the standard for young talents at 16 (good for us anyways) When we start hyping him or overzealous Barça fans start comparing him to their bigger fans we'll start hearing he's overhyped or we're a dumb, obsessed fanbase

I hope Barcelona own upgrade does not turn out this way. angry
Tbh speaking neutrally I'm not sure ours would be as modern s theirs, they have a retractable pitch and will soon start using their 360° screens like how NFL pitches use them, we initially planned to add the 360° screens in the initial blueprint but I don't think it'll be there anymore according to what I'm seeing currently probably cause of cost but with our over 100k capacity we should be able to get the most revenue on match days in the top 5 leagues when completed plus other mini features eg the solar panels, make we dey look sha

I don't think Barça will allow it, besides Spain don't have a CB drought atm, They should just call back Ramos from retirement and leave our boy to develop in piece, he'll be always present in the future if things go as planned

Most of them are from lamasia or bought from other small clubs so they can be groomed and adapt to our style of play, before we reach all those Messi, Neymar, etoo levels a lot of things have to change starting with getting a good coach because even to spend to buy players na war oga mi

PSG lining up 200m euros for Lamine Yamal.

I know it is a joke, coming from Marca, who is doing everything possible to gloat about Mbappe and shade us, like we can't afford Mbappe and like PSG will use us as scapegoat since we need money and they will buy up all our fine players, in response to losing Mbappe.

Yes we need money but La masia players are loyal to the club, unless we clearly do not need them.
They are all a bunch of clowns, diaroas today was busy comparing yamal's goal with one of our former lamasia boys iker bravo who's now playing for real madrid juvenil A he scored that goal in one of their juvenil A meetings, insecure niccurs despite all their wealth of talents

I think Raphinha should play in the midfield. He's been frustrating and anonymous in the flanks. Then Vitor Roque can come in and pair with Lewandowski
Lol, person wey dey find am hard to beat him man or make right decisions, I think we should just pair gundogan with Christensen or romeu while Fermin continues as a super sub, it's what we have we'll use we no get choice, then there's also the option of going to lamasia to get our supply, Marc bernal and unai Hernandez are regulars of Barça atletic and have already started training with the first team

Pedri’s injury is less serious than initially thought and it is not a relapse. So he can return earlier than expected and could be available for El Clásico on 21st April.

Well, let's hope so.
Thank God. With this our central midfield depletion thanks to injuries do you feel it's better we switch to three CBs so we'll probably pair lewa with one of Vitor roque or guiu from time to time, We can't face Napoli with lots of space for them to feast on

Watching xavi Simons balling day in day out reminds me of what we lost but then again we lost him due to mino raiola to that no UCL french club, niccur could have been balling for us alongside Pedri and gavi, I just hope we don't lose Michal Zuk who looks like our next biggest central midfield hope

To be honest, his tactic is flawed and he is kinda stubborn. Just expect 4-3, 3-2 scorelines next season.
If you look at our financial situation and the youth scattered around the team because of it he might look like the best option but I don't think he'll be able to shape the team quick to be a title contender in a couple of months or few years, yes he is also quite stubborn when it comes to his highlines like xavi which makes him swallow goals like palmwine when he faces deadly counter attacking teams, anyways I don't think we'll get him cause of his release clause, I hope we can somehow bag nagelsmann, To me that's currently our best option since his contract will expire after the euros

Tbh I don't know what's gonna happen with Pedri except wishing he comes back to full fitness to continue giving us joy but if there's any way we can lay our hands on Wirtz in future that might be a real game changer, Blud doesn't even look like he had an ACL injury at all, hopefully the FFP issues will leave so we can see if we have a chance

Player go get injury fans go Dey go back to last 3 seasons when Spain and Barca overuse am

It’s the club cannot take care of youngsters but when people like FDJ raphina get injury na normal thing but once it’s the kids it’s because they where overused

Hold the medical staffs responsible abeg ,we have had 22 injuries this season baba and FDJ top that list after pedri

One of pedri issue is Barca rushing him back because of how good he is ,that dude should sit out for the rest of the season abeg ,he should come back next season when he will be stronger ,I hope he doesn’t go to the euros also
Baba which time FDJ and Raphinha don get the kind injuries wey Pedri get? Person wey fit play three weeks max next thing we go hear na relapse, Even gavi wey strong like agbero na this same overusing issue cause am to get that ACL cause most of us were advocating for his rest immediately Spain qualified, everybody body dey different, Genes, Racial background, amount of games on the body matters a lot and Barça y Spain can't deny we made a mess of the situation, Medical team wey we dey even lash at no fit perform magic on an injury prone player abi make them give the players steriod to perform? Make nothing just do yamal and Cubarsi na my own be that

Yes I am worried for Yamal and Curbarsi.

The club has proven they cannot take care of the youngsters. Due to lack of funds, they cannot sign good players but now we rely and ultimately overuse youngsters, leading to recurring injuries.

Ansu Fati still breaks my heart but the club have shown we haven't learned from that experience.

It's just a pity.
It was always bound to happen with our financial situation and Enrique's Barça connection, I remember vividly when Barça tried to stop Pedri from going to the Olympics after the euros due to this fatigue fear but somehow along the way a compromise was reached for him to play, yes it helped him win the golden boy award but along the way we are now the ones suffering it in the long run
That's why this summer we have to take the pain staking decision to sell as much players as possible so we can go into the market and be more competitive in the present, all these youngsters we have will peak bit that's in the near future, I'm sure most of us were in awe of how arsenal are decimating opponents but it was a gradual step with buying players to build their team and focusing on their brightest academy talents like Saka, even with the bottling and bad results in arteta's first season they still kept on building the team to one that free scores without a lethal striker, so we just have to figure out what we'll do, Do we continue to suffer for the next few years while gradually building with lamasia and other youth talents from other clubs or do we sell or find another way to generate massive funds, beat tebas's FFP traps and buy established players to improve the team, whichever one they want to do a decision has to be made fast this summer before we gradually kill our future in the present

Another missed opportunity to climb second position and close the gap of Madrid to 5 points. Sad 😢😢😢
Even if we won do you really believe we'll win laliga over vardrid bro with their squad, form and "assistance" when things get tough, Our season most likely ended in January, All these talks about our injuries but bilbao had 7 bench warmers in their lineup yesterday but we still played like shit, Just pass, recycle the ball, hoof ball and pray for something to come out of it

You speak as though we're the only club with young players. Do you know that Jude Bellingham is still only 20 years and he was the mainstay in Borussia Dortmund and now in Real Madrid? He looks as fit as anyone can be. Occasional 2wks or so out is normal.

In my opinion, our players are not doing enough to be injury free. The club does not encourage them enough to stay healthy. They probably rely exclusively on the club's medical team. They should be doing more for themselves to stay fit.
Jude has not played the amount of games Pedri played in 2021 in his professional career, jumping from laliga, ucl r16, Copa del Rey final to the euros and later Olympics, also both are different physically as Jude is also a workhorse box to box midfielder compared to Pedri with his leaner frame, Barça and Spain destroyed him, Reason why we have to be extra careful with yamal and Cubarsi despite their talents too

It is past 3 yrs now. We can't keep giving same excuses. What is he doing to stay fit?
When you put too much stress on a still developing body we shouldn't be surprised if it start breaking down in the future, Look at fati, see what happened to gavi, see how we're praying for yamal despite the fact we enjoy his talent, now we've started with cubarsi, Tbh I don't know what would happen as regards Pedri in the future but the club should think thoroughly about this one cause they also have a big hand in it
