Have u ever seen a Muslim Northerner paying tithe to religious house? Giving money to religious cause is strictly optional and I can't see people paying anything to religious body in the North.

Is there any part of Nigeria where rich people are religiously mandated to pay Zakkat if not North? Zakat is a religious obligation, ordering all Muslims who meet the necessary criteria (rich) to donate a certain portion of wealth each year to charitable causes. Zakat is based on income and the value of possessions. The common minimum amount for those who qualify is 2.5%, or 1/40 of a Muslim's total savings and wealth.

Only in the North that u see most state govts sponsoring thousands students abraod annually to study Medicine, Engineering, Pilot and many sensitive courses and most of the beneficiaries are from poor family. In 4yrs Kwankwaso sponsored more than 5k Kano indigenes to study abroad, Jigawa State sent atleast 200 students abroad for 8yrs annually under Lamido, 120 every year under this govt and more than 3k were sent under the first administration and this is synonymous to most Northern states especially North-West.

From 2015 to date, I know a Northerner who get jobs for poor people from his LG into CBN, FIRS, NCC, NIA, DSS, PENCOM, DPR, NNPC and other very sensitive offices, he doesn't care abt any job that pay less than 200k/month. He only get jobs for his people in a lucrative offices, more than 300 people enjoyed his good office in 6yrs and more than 90% of them are from poor family. He sometimes finger point the people to be given the Job. I was in his place last 3 weeks he brought 3 DPR and 11 FIRS offers and the lucky guys who got DPR are from very poor family; one is orphan, the other is destitute. The man is one of the 3 most influential person to President of Nigeria today.

More than 80% of Northern elites are from poor family; who is PMB's father? What of Atiku? Is Senate President from biga family? What of our Governors? Is IBB from big family? What of Abdussalam?
Why should u wait for others to help or support u?
Those people worked hard to be rich and they're not into any business that deprive any Northerner of his food. What did they do that affect our struggle? Tell me a single rich Islamic scholar in the North that will make u accuse them of sabotage?

Let me categorically tell u that very few rich business men in the North are from big family and even among them Dangote's Grandfather, Dantata was Almajiri, BUA's father, Isyaka Rabiu was product of almajiri system, Indimi is from poor family and many more.

There is extremely wide gap between poor and the rich in the south unlike in the North that when Dangote come to Kano he live a humble life and the poor people in his community relate well with him.
Kano-Jigawa professional forum demand employment of their Young graduate Engineers into Dangote, BUA and other Northern tycoons companies and is approved that is why right now we have many Northerners occupying sensitive positions in their southern companies. This can only happen in the North.
